We as the owners manage a relatively small establishment in the La Lucia / Umhlanga Rocks area. Our aim is to create a family atmosphere where all guest will feel welcome and at home; therefore we will walk the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Akanan is very easy to find just off the M4 freeway between Durban and Umhlanga Rocks. We are walking distance from La Lucia Beach and a small shopping centre with a grocery store and various restaurants. Umhlanga Rocks is 4 kilometers away, with Durban City Centre, Moses Mabidha, Kingspark Swimming Pool, Athletic Stadium, The Sharks Tank (Home of Sharks Rugby), various golf courses and U’Shaka between 8 to12 minutes’ drive from us. We are situated on the Public Transport Route. We also offer to call a metered Taxi Service on your request. The guest house offers a luxury bed and breakfast experience with complimentary amenities, glass of Jeripico, Coffee / Tea station and something sweet to nibble on.

As always, visiting Annemarie and Dough is not just a guesthouse, but a friendly, family environment. Home away from home for me every time! Room is perfect, with everything you need, one feels very save and extremely close to anything you need from the shop or restaurants.
