My husband and I spent the last night of our recent holiday in South Africa at the Schoon Huis Manor, and what a wonderful finale it was! Ryan was an exemplary host and ever so kind and helpful. We chose the Dominique room (exactly as pictured on the website!!) which is on the ground floor, spacious and very elegant. We particularly enjoyed the clever bathroom layout with the phantastic shower! Very comfortable beds, a Nespresso coffee machine complete with milk steamer and Lindor chocolates on the pillows: need I say more?! Next time we return to Schoon Huis we want to stay longer!

We were looking for a place to stay near O.R. Tambo airport. This place was very convenient. Contacted the property to see about dropping off our bags early while we went to shop for essentials for trip to Kruger, the response was quick indicating not an issue. Check in was easy and Alfred was so helpful with both the room and dining options near to guest house. The room was comfortable and clean. The included breakfast was delicious with many options. The gardens on the property attracted numerous birds including the long billed ibis. We would definitely stay there again if a stop over in Johannesburg.

We stayed at the Schoon Huis for our wedding and had breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was heavenly!! Our stay in the honeymoon suite was divine. Such a beautiful room with a big and lush bed. Everything is so clean and the decor sets off a feeling of nostalgia. Ryan, the manager, is a real life superhero who does all his tasks with a smile on his face. I can’t say thank you enough to the Schoon Huis for making our stay and our wedding weekend so special - you are wonderful!

I had a wonderful stay at Schoon Huis Manor when attending a wedding at Nice to Meat You Venue on the property. Was a absolute delight from the minute making a booking with a very patient Dominique. I stayed in the "Dominique" room which was comfortable, clean and was equipped with everything you could wish for. The bathroom was a dream!! Thank you for a lovely wedding and a stunning stay.

An oasis away from the rat race. Used to rest after 24hrs travelling. The service and reception was excellent, the property was superb. This will be our new 1st choice when in this area. Thank you very much, highly recommended.

What a beautiful place and wonderful stay. Rooms are unique and comfortable. We booked the entire house for a wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better place. It’s feels like you aren’t in the city. Ryan was fantastic and catered to our every need. Food was great.

Wow, this venue is wonderful. The service was excellent and the guest house itself has been decorated with so much thought, detail for every item on the property. The staff are friendly, helpful and go the extra mile. The bedrooms are spectacular!

We spent the weekend at Schoon Huis for our daughter's wedding. From the time that we booked in until we left, the service, facilities, venue and all the trouble Schoon Huis went too, made our daughters wedding a weekend to remember!!!
