We had already been to this hotel a few times and had the expectation that the hotel would use the pandemic to carry out necessary renovations and restorations. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met in any way. Both the condition of the hotel facilities and the services of the hotel staff were more than weak. At check-in, the receptionist was overwhelmed, there were several guests waiting and he was alone there. Overall, not a very positive experience. Upon arrival at the accommodation villa, we found that the furnishings had not been restored and that the signs of wear and tear were slowly exceeding the normally expected condition of the furniture. Edges were scraped off, doors creaked, the walls had cracks. There were only three whole cans of drinks in the minibar, which were also not refilled. For coffee, after using up the four Nespresso capsules, you could either buy more capsules at the reception at an overpriced price or use small powder coffee bags. Until the end of our vacation, I did not find out how to get refills for the minibar. The cleaning man tried his best, but could not compensate for the weaknesses of the room or the suite. Now to the food: the quality of the food in the main restaurant is below any criticism and on some days you try to find something that is somehow filling and does not taste bad. Only the pasta station, which was open daily, was always available as an emergency backup. The drinks that were offered in the all-inclusive hotel also did not exactly exude style. All alcohol offered in the all-inclusive package was of the cheapest kind. Egyptian gin, whiskey, vodka, tequila etc. from plastic bottles are more reminiscent of two-star budget hotels for graduation trips. The wine was actually not recognizable as such. Even a bought bottle of wine for 39€ extra was barely drinkable. This hotel-wide stinginess is noticeable everywhere. In the past, some of the evening shows were programs with external teams. In the meantime, the enormously weak animation group has to do all the shows themselves and the shows are correspondingly miserable. The children's disco is worked off without much emotion, as is the kindergarten with its strange and very limited opening hours. The children's area is bare and there are some very old and visually rundown games lying in the corners. Opening hours or times of availability are a topic everywhere: even minutes outside of the given times you don't even get ice cream (which doesn't deserve the name ice cream anyway). So overall, you feel more managed than spoiled, Even standard infrastructure such as the mini-train as a shuttle to and from the beach suddenly only runs strictly every 20 minutes, although it could easily run every 5-10 minutes, as the journey time is short and the driver is available anyway. But 1 minute after the last ride (which was incorrectly announced) there was no chance to take the children the two hundred meters back and forth again. The facility is in such a miserable state that we had three medical incidents after all. Once, the father of the accompanying family friend stepped on the sole of his foot in the swimming pool and wounded it because a broken tile had a sharp tip sticking out there, and that right next to the pool bar. Another time, my six-year-old daughter wanted to get out of the pool and cut her hand on the edge of the pool so that she bled heavily. Another time, we were sitting at the beach bar and all the people on one side stood up. Then the bench tipped over with the two remaining people. After we sat down again, thankfully unharmed, we saw that the bench had apparently been restored by completely inexperienced staff and that the slat sloping towards the floor was not cut off diagonally, i.e. parallel to the floor, but simply normally to the course of the slats. Thus, there was not only a risk of tipping over, but also a strong risk of foot crushing. Such botch-ups were unfortunately typical for the hotel. Overall, unfortunately, a weak performance of both the hotel management and the property or building substance. We will not go there again at least until a proper renovation has been carried out and we think that the hotel no longer (anymore) deserves the brand name 'Hilton'.

We have carefully reviewed your feedback and I will personally oversee this process to ensure the ongoing enhancement process. Some points to clarify within your comments, there are on-going soft enhancement for guest rooms for flooring, painting and other main areas while the full rooms renovation already started with some rooms early this area as it is a project where different parties are involved in. For food experience, we offer 14 different theme buffet nights at the main restaurant in addition to three speciality restaurants offering a variety of oriental, Italian and seafood in addition to the unique dinner experiences at the Bedouin tent at the beach. Also there are different activities during the daytime and evening entertainment which takes places at different sections either at the Bar, or the open theatre or the hotel lobby depends on the show itself and the day weather where we select the best venue to ensure that our guests are enjoying. Within the all-inclusive basis we offer the best available drinks at the local market and still there are different other range of drinks from basics to the premium available at all our restaurants and bars. For timings and offers for different facilities are in place to satisfy and meet the needs of the majority of our guests according to different and regular feedback we collect from our guests either during or after their satys. We are committed to providing exceptional experiences for all our guests and keep enhancing the overall guest experience at our resort. Hotel's Favourite
Last May I returned to Hilton Marsa Alam Nubian Resort. I don't count anymore how many times I have been there, I just go back. I don't have to write about the hotel itself anymore, that's done enough before. I just want to mention the staff members that this time were in charge of taking care. Starting with the front office and Mossab and his team assuring "my" room upon arrival. For the Housekeeping, special thanks to Attia, Tarek and Omar. The room has been perfect during the whole stay. Ashraf and his team were present for a very clean pool and beach, special thoughts for Achmed preparing my sunbeds in the morning. Thanks to Hany, the bars manager, checking for the right cocktail, and not overdone with alcohol. And of course the restaurant. Gamal and Abdelhamid you have a great team. Thanks a lot to Hossam, Aziz, Achmed (the smaller one), Zahry, Alaa, chef Amr and the kitchen and all the staff around. Everything was perfect, I couldn't ask for more. Please take care all of you and see you back in November.

April is perfect for stay in Egypt-30 deg Celc in Marsa Alam. Hilton hotel very clean , the room cleaning service is the best I ever seen. There is a well maintained beatufull garden among which there are boongallows consisting of beautifull rooms. There is a perfect coral reef access from the beach and very well maintained pools with friendly and helpful staff. The main redtaurant is OK but ala carte ones offer realy delicious food. All the staff is exceptionally friendly but special thanks to ms Engy Akram for perfect omlets every day. Considering Ramadan time all staff was excellent, efficient and always smiling.

Second time In Hilton and second time perfect service and stay. Delicious food, different days as well as a'la carte restaurant - Mohsen Mohamed is doing fantastic pasta- many thanks. End of this year we plan to go again. Best spot for scuba diving in Abu Dabab.

Great experience so far, good different type of restaurant and choice of food. We enjoy the clranles of the room and room service. Stuff is good and prepare. The only downside is the shops inside the resort a bit too pushy m part from that I really recommend to stay in this resort.

I’ve never stayed in a Hilton hotel before. This was a short break from my friend and I. We travelled 3 hours by private taxi from hurgharda to get here. Well worth sitting in a sweaty taxi. The hotel itself is decorated in a beautiful authentic Nubian style. Beautiful ceramic bottles, plates and sculptures dotted around. Main reception area is very easy in the eye and looks calming and inviting. Staff are wonderful and friendly everywhere in the hotel. Rooms are spotless and so clean. 10/10

Excellent hotel. Staff: the staff are consistently helpful, friendly and good fun. Always good service everywhere whether bar, restaurant, front desk, room cleaning. All extremely good. Food: I think this was my 6th. time and the food has always been good but I think it has improved. Extremely good range and quality. Location: garden and pools beautifully kept and maintained. There was a really fierce storm one day: many congratulations on getting the hotel back to normal after such a terrible storm. We were very impressed. I think people were working all night? Big Thankyou: the dinner served in our room was wonderful. Excellent. Big big Thanks and recommendation to Ahmed Mohamed Captain who did a brilliant job in bringing the dinner perfectly on time and serving it so nicely. Overall the hotel is excellent and we hope to return.

We have stayed here for 3 wonderful weeks. We looked for things we could be critical about and found none. Staff in all departments work really hard to keep everything spotless and comfortable. Food choices were good and plentiful. We used 2 a la carte restaurants, Breezes and Italian found both excellent. The main restaurant offered designated evening themes which varied the choices. No lack of attendance of drinks during meals, whatever your choice. We must give special mention to our room man Khali who kept our room spotless his towel sculptures were works of art and were nice surprises when returning to our room. Pool man Amr took great care of us at Splash pool. Haggag was one of a number of the wine waiter's who kept our glasses filled. Tommy drove us safely to our room when needed. Santa from animation kept us informed of nightly entertainment. The front desk team looked after any blips that might occur and Virgin sorted our request for our 64th wedding anniversary dinner at Breezes, there the staff really made the night for us. Lastly Omer from Blue Ocean led us on a snorkeling trip which we will never forget. Thanks once again to all the staff for their hard work.
