2 rooms+kitchen+bathroom for the price given . House is in the back of the garden. Kitchen has a gas stove, fridge, kitchen sink, water dispenser with free water, juice mixer , toaster, cutlery and utensils - all you need to cook. Free tea, coffee and drinking water !!! We don't have air con but ceiling fans as you can see on attached photo. There is no hot water in the bathroom for this moment
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
I stayed with Epi and Wayan for two weeks with a friend, and then came back on my own for one full month. They are caring and hard working, they will make sure you always have everything you need and they will help you organize whatever activities you would like to do (and even coordinate a visit to the clinic if you need to - super glad they were there to guide me!). The rooms are spacious, clean and super comfy if you need to get some work done while you are in Bali (Wifi is A+). The homestay is super close to everything, and far enough that you get peace and quiet (takes me 5 minutes to get to the beach with my scooter). This place has become my second home in Bali and I have nothing but praises to give. Oh, and you can cook and keep stuff in the fridge and on your own shelve if you like. If you are into surfing, Wayan will be there to help you (all levels).
Cheers and enjoy your stay in Bali :D Much love to Epi, Wayan and the two princesses - Lizzie

This is my second time surfing in Canggu and also used Wayan as my instructor. He is awesome , with lots of patience and speak fluent English. I saw progress in my surfing and highly recommended to use him as an instructor. Both times i surfed at the Old Man’s side and can also rent the surf board from Paris’ shop. Both are fun guys to hang out with.

We had a really nice stay in Candra homestay! The host is the sweetest person on earth. It is really clean and the beds are very comfy! You get a big watertap, so you can drink as much water as you want. Loved it!

The room I stayed in was large, had a private bathroom with hot water, and both fan + air conditioning. It was very clean and comfortable! The homestay itself was just a 4-5 min scooter ride from Echo Beach, Old Man's, and Batu Bolong - perfect for anyone looking to surf regularly.
If you're looking for surf lessons, I would highly recommend Wayan (who runs the homestay and is the surf instructor for Candra Surf School). Having never really surfed before, I was able to progress from a 10ft foam board to a 7ft short board in 5 days! Wayan gave me helpful tips and always directed me towards the best spot to catch waves.
Overall, I would highly recommend!

Such a beautiful place to stay, so welcomed by the family running it, loved spending lots of time here and getting to know them. Great service and wonderful location, close to lots of yummy food and yoga. Was able to rent a bike for very cheap to use while the time staying too. Definitely recommend :)

This is a lovely place with a very good atmosphere.
The rooms are clean, with great facilities like A/C and hot water.
The host family, Epi Wayan and their 2 girls Candra & Dhea are wonderful people. They welcomed us as part of their family and we really felt at home.
A shared kitchen is available with a gas stove, fridge, microwave, blender... it's really complete. For breakfast you'll find complimentary coffee, tea, and hot/cold filtered water.
You can also use the washing machine, you just need to buy the detergent.
They also provide scooter rental options, taxi pick up to travel around or go to the airport, and of course excellent surf lessons.
Wayan is a very experienced teacher (more than 10 years teaching) and I felt very safe while taking my first lessons. It was great fun.
We loved the area, it's quiet, not on the main road, but still a with lot of restaurants, the yoga shala Samadi is really close (2-min walk), and the beach is 5 min away (on scooter).
Overall I loved the place and would definitely come back!

This homestay is run by a wonderfully welcoming family. They offer a range of rooms, mine was quite spacious, offering air con, queen bed, desk, fridge and en suite. There is only cold water in the room, which was no issue for me. I spent my days exploring, and spending time with friends, so it was nice to retreat to the air con. The place is simple and very reasonably priced. My room was only $20AUD per night. A lovely restaurant/ coffee shop is a 3 minute walk away. A yoga retreat, Samadi Yoga is only 1 minuet walk away and the beach... a 5 min scooter ride. If you’re looking for a no fuss, nice place to stay, and an opportunity to meet and chat with a local family, this spot is great.
