AAA diamond rated exclusive Alaskan log lodge is “The Best Escape on the Kenai” for your fishing vacation, corporate retreat, or romantic getaway. Guest rooms feature fine linens & private bath. Located ON the river with private walkway & bank fishing; we offer guided fishing & tours. Experience Alaskan hospitality at its best!
Flew Kenai to Anchorage. This flight is advertised as less than twenty minutes. The flight is quite expensive, but expected that for any short haul flight in Alaska. Fortunately, we planned our flight from Kenai to Anchorage with about 3 hours before our Anchorage to Seattle flight. Even with that, since the Ravn flight was so late departing Kenai, the ANC-Sea flight was making last calls for boarding when we arrived. Be forwarned... even if the weather is excellent, which it was the day we flew, your Ravn flight schedule is totally unpredictable. We could have driven from Kenai to Anchorage in about the same amount of time.

We stayed at The River Raven for 5 nights for a company fishing tournament and are so glad we did. The breakfasts were amazing! French toast, reindeer sausage, waffles, bacon, fresh fruit, eggs, toast, along with fresh coffee and a variety of teas. Chef Ray rotates and surprises guests every morning and everything is delicious! The beds were so comfy. We slept with the windows open and enjoyed amazing sunsets (around midnight) off the dock on the Kenai River every evening. They even have free wifi. They have fishing poles right off the dock for guests to use and we cleaned up in the evenings. We were able to catch several Sockeye Salmon to ship home. Both Stevie and Dick spend time with their guests and give you plenty of pointers as to hiking, fishing, restaurants, and even Soldotna nightlife if you're interested. I cannot say enough about this wonderful place! We spent the days out hiking, fishing, and visiting nearby cities, but were happy and eager to spend time with Stevie, Dick, and their granddaughter Emma, in the evenings. They are seriously the nicest and most pleasant people on the planet and make the stay even better. We will definitely be back and are hoping to make this a yearly stay.…

Dick and Stef are wonderful hosts. Will Secure you guides, keep a professionally cleaned spotless inn, feed you high quality fresh fruits at breakfast with killer eggs and bacon. Bottomless Starbucks coffee. Two professional kitchens. Two great docks to fish from. If you want a special event with a professional chef... this is the place. Ask anyone about Dick and Stef. Amazing. Sit and chill or rip your face off with a fly out, bouncing salmon on the Kenai or drift boat on the Kasiloff. So much more

We needed a place to stay at the last minute and found this on trip advisor. Our room was immaculate with a pretty view of the river. The bed was extremely comfortable and was the best of our trip to Alaska. The owner was very accommodating to my breakfast needs and went out of the way to be helpful. It is an inn rather than been in someone's home which I prefer

This was such a find for us. The proprietor is just the nicest, most accommodating host. Breakfast is delicious, different every morning. Our room was small but quite nice w/ a jacuzzi tub and comfy king bed. The entire house is nicely decorated with native art.

We got to stay here by chance when our lodge across the river had overbooked, and what a lucky break! The rooms and beds are so comfortable. The hosts are friendly, and the breakfasts were divine! We ended up staying an extra night. The only small recommendation I have is if you are in a large group, bring your own ice as they only have one small ice maker.

This was the first B&B of our trip. The house is beautiful, log construction, right on the river, not very far off the main road. Dick really is happy to make breakfast whenever you want, which is certainly a plus for people with early morning pick-ups for fishing trips. The breakfasts were very good. The bed was comfortable, and I liked the sitting area where I could sit and read the B&B's many books and magazines about Alaska. Dick has a collection of native Alaskan art objects, and we enjoyed listening to his stories about them.

My friend and I were headed down to Soldotna from the Eagle River and Wasilla for an event. We decided to spend the Friday night at the lodge that way we could take a shower in the morning, fill our bellies up and be ready for the day ahead of us. We were SO sad that it was only a one night stay! Dick was such a wonderful host. We didn't get to check in until later that evening but we were greeting with a smiling face and great conversation. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, it literally felt like I was just hanging out at home. The breakfast was delicious and just right. Thank you for such a nice experience. We will be back this winter! :)

The Kenai River Raven is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are very clean and tidy. There are four rooms upstairs that share a common area. I thought it was a quiet room even with the common area just outside the door of our room. The staff is wonderful Dick and Stephanie were very welcoming. The staff helped us carry our bags upstairs to the room. The chef is fantastic! Every breakfast we had was filling and healthy. The chef even made breakfast for us at 0430 so we could depart at 0500 for our fishing trip. The hotel is not right downtown, but it's a small town so it's easy to get there.

The lodge is located in an excellent area, close to major highways restaurants stores and also the airport, very cool setting with fishing right in back with a private dock. Fishing rod ,cleaning table, and excellent view. The room was big, great bathroom, very clean. you are able to open the window. the walls are very thin though and if people are somewhat loud ,you might get bummed out . breakfast was ok, you have to eat in a dining room, you cannot bring food into your room , other than that... Twas rustic and quaint , I have no complaints
