Roy and the team here are amazing. The hotel is clean and safe and they are all so accommodating. Not to mention, the food is AMAZING! We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here all the time. The Coffee is incredible, and the energy Eoy and his family brings is beautiful. If you are visiting La Fortuna please stay here or even stop by to say hello. Thank you Roy, we love you!!

Some friends and I stayed here for a month and thanks to Roy and Erica, our stay was amazing! They were so helpful with food, activities, and making us comfortable. We are all so grateful for their kindness. I would recommend this place to anyone! Great location, great food, and amazing hosts!

Roy and his family took care of us like their family. Always smiling and willing to help in any way to make sure that we had a great vacation in Fortuna. Roy's coffee is the best and the food served at the restaurant is top class. He booked a couple of tours for us too. I would highly recommend Red Frog Hotel for any one traveling to Arenal area.

The Red Frog Hotel exceeds all expectations of accommodations in Costa Rica. The owner and front-of-house man of their associated coffee café was one of the most hospitable and kind Costa Rican’s I’ve ever met! Their clean and welcoming residence was matched by their outstanding customer service. Breakfast was included with the stay and was absolutely fabulous! I would highly recommend staying here!

My husband and I stayed at The Red Frog Hostel for two nights while we were in La Fortuna. The best part about this place was the amazing hospitality that we were shown from Ray and his wife. The accomodation was excellent value for money, the rooms were large and comfortable and were nicely furnished. The room and bathroom were very clean and well taken care of. There is a cosy outdoor area with a kitchen and comfy hammocks to relax in after a day of hiking. The property is very conveniently located close to heart of La Fortuna and all the main attractions. We had breakfast at the attached cafe and it was one of the best local meals that we ate in Costa Rica, Ray also brews his own coffee which was delicious. You can tell that Ray and his wife take a lot of pride in their business and their customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend staying at this property!
