He was funny and attentive every time we saw him during the whole 7 days we were there.
Thank you Yunus for making our stay even more enjoyable.
Mr Bean says hi. ha ha ha.
The room was always spotless and the bed and pillows were wonderful.
Bathroom was nice, glass shower, bath tub always had plenty of shampoo and bath gel. Free amenities was always stocked in the bathroom. (Comb, tooth brush, tooth paste, razor and shaving cream, shower caps and even a small sewing kit).
The TV only had 2 or 3 English speaking channels-- Stars movie, CNN London, and a local.
The hotel offers 2 different restaurants, Western and Japanese style. Both were great food. The western offered two different menus. Western style (sandwiches, fish, and steaks) and Chinese.
The free breakfast is not western style. The only items were a preformed bacon, toast, fried eggs (always under cooked and runny), and fruit.
The hotel is about 45 mins from downtown Shanghai, depending on the traffic and cost about $25 USD one way. There is a small mall about 10mins from the hotel and cost $2 USD one way.
The only drawback if there was one-- is No swimming pool or hot tub.
Had a great time thanks
Hotel staff and service are very kind.
Restaurants are good with acceptable price.
Room are big and clean.
Europe TV channels are not available.
Can be suggested for business trip.
Eventhough the hotel is little far away from Shaghai, it is worth stay hotel and having automobile industries sorrunded. The hotel from the website looked old and traditional and the thought disappeared once we enterted the reception. The hotel is a perfect mixture of Modern & contemporary amenities and with classic old look.
The hotel is sorrounded by nature and it is in the main junction accessible easily from main highways. Hotel having many different restaurants and we had chance to take food in western and Japanese restaurant. Both were authentic and we really enjoyed the food.
Hotel staff are very nice and they are very helpful. You need not have to worry about anything.
We got another surprise when we got the bill and it was unbeleivably cheap. The hotel was booked by division of our parent company in Shanghai and we were not informed about the cost during check-in. It is definitely a worth for stay hotel.
The drawbacks are there is shops nearby and for everything you have to depend on hotel. Also the internet is dead slow to the extent that it takes more than 2 or 3 minutes to get a simple page loaded.
Anyway, the hotel service is bad compared with two hotels I stayed in centra shanghai ( astor house hotel and hengshan moller villa). The staff will ignore you and just chat with each other. The room is noisy because they are redecorating the hotel. Bathroom is :(
I book for 3 nights butstay only 1 night........so you know how terrible it is. (Oh! don't forget the breakfast sucks)
Acceptable rates, clean rooms, for foreigners sufficient breakfast, but for a dinner or lunch it was a bit difficult (typical Chinease food or limited menu of continental food, but very good).
For business trip a good place and I'd stay there again.
"Almost all the rooms are having balcony and don't accept rooms in seventh floor. I could see only steps were there for seventh floor rooms."Read full review
