We stayed at Langham Xintiandi for 10 days in August and it was a great experience. We booked an executive room and it was great. The room was large, very clean and quiet. Location is perfect, right in front of Xintiandi and near many other areas. Many restaurants, bars and shopping centers around the hotel at walking distance. Service is excellent. Ms. Blur and Mr. Isaac at the reception are outstanding and they helped us a lot when we had to extend our stay. Ms. Candy, the restaurant manager, was always so helpful trying to satisfy any of our requests during breakfast and whenever we had meals at the hotel. All personnel (from the valet at the hotel door to the managers) were really great and always available to help us for any requests we had. In addition, the hotel offers a free pink taxi service to take us anywhere within 5 KM distance when we request (upon previous reservation). Overall it was a wonderful experience with great service and we will stay again next time.…

This is our 4th stay at Langham Xintandi, the first one since the pandemic of 2020. Even after 2.5 years, the hotel continues to impress and remains truly deserving of its 5-star rating. However, what truly sets Langham apart is its staff – the warmest, friendliest individuals in Shanghai. Their genuine smiles and unwavering hospitality make Langham feel like a true home away from home while in Shanghai. A special mention goes to the team at the Langham Club Lounge at the 27th Floor – Ms. Shirley, Ms. Doris, Ms. Angelia, Ms. Judy, and the lone gentleman, Mr. Mason. They consistently welcome my wife and me with genuine smiles and excellent service after a long day filled with factory visits and meetings.

The Langham is a top address in Shanghai. I visited the hotel during Shanghai Auto 2023 and everybody was very professional and friendly. The location is in the middle of the city, 2.5 km from the Bund. The rooms are super well equipped. I especially recommend the breakfast.

This hotel is perfect for visiting shanghai downtown but does not look convenient for kids - room and public spaces need refurbishment. It was a very nice hotel 10 years ago - there is potential but service is not at all at the level of other 5 stars of the city

The hotel provides excellent service both at the reception and at the executive lounge. Brian at the reception is very professional and helpful. He also arranged decor and amenities for our suite to celebrate the 20th anniversary. The lounge food and drink are excellent, especially in the evening (genrous 3 hour free flow of canape and cocktail) with an onsite chef providing grilled food and cooked to order noodles. Both the male and female staff at the lounge are also very attentive and remember us and our preference after our first visit. The hotel is also conveniently located close to two metro stations, with so many shops and restaurants around in XTD. The room has smart light control and a smart toliet. The one way complimentary journey of 5km by a pink taxi is a must try for suite guests. It is among the best hotels in town.…

Langham XTD is always a great choice, good location and great value for money. Some points of improvement: Bread for breakfast and lounge are under average, for such a hotel there should be something like sour dough or pretzels available. Receptionist need more training, some of them are not up to speed, while the guy checked us in does an outstanding job. Turn down service really inconsistent, sometimes done, sometimes partly done sometimes skipped, there needs to be consistency. Milk used for breakfast and in the lounge is not tasty at all, should be changed to a good local brand like mengniu. Better taste and more sustainable. Pool area a bit depressing and dark, same goes with the gym Great things are: Angelia and her team in the lounge makes the stay exceptional, otherwise it would be an ordinary hotel stay. They are very detail minded, fast and going the extra mile for every guest. Unfortunately the lounge is closed in the morning recently. On arrival of the hotel, it is always a pleasure to see Andy, he puts a smile on everyone's face after a long and exhausting journey. Even he is mute, one of the greatest communicators I've ever met. Even during a very crowded week -Spring Festival- the management of the hotel has been excellent, I felt that the staff was doing their best, perhaps we had to wait a couple of minutes for breakfast, but quite soon a black tea -as I have asked the first day- was waiting for me. The location is one of the best things of the hotel, incredible view in the Frenck Concession. I will definitely come back. they have a very good breakfast. The room is comfortable.
