We arrived at 11:00 AM. My daughter was taken to a special play area while my wife and I handled check-in / park tickets. The staff went above and beyond at helping us every step of the way. The hotel has two awesome play areas for kids, and these areas have staff that will watch your kids.

The lobby floor has a lego / brick building area for your kids to play in (Woody and Jessie often come out and play with the kids, Even during COVID!)

And the bottom floor has another play area where kids can do arts and crafts.

Breakfast has the perfect combination of Western / Chinese. On the Western Side you'll find eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, waffles, and pancakes. And on the Chinese side you'll find dumplings, rice, hard boiled eggs, fried dough, and lots of porridge.

The room itself is just a regular sized room with toy story themes. The cleaning staff left us a daily handwritten note that we really appreciated.

Please remember, that if you stay at a Disney Hotel, you MUST purchase your park tickets at the hotel. If you purchase your tickets at the hotel, you will be allowed to enter the park 1 hour early. You will also receive a complimentary fastpass, and you'll receive a 20% discount when purchasing two day tickets.

Checkout was quick and easy.
We will definitely be making this into a yearly trip.

A few more tidbits, the Air-conditioning actually worked in March! A lot of hotels in Shanghai do not let you use the A.C. in March, but the AC worked here and it was great.
Also, Woody and Jessie frequently walk around the hotel in the afternoon. Even during COVID, kids aren't allowed to hug them, but you can still take a photo with them and give them high fives.

I stayed here for two nights during off-peak which was enough time for me to explore and experience everything I wanted. The staff speak English and are incredibly helpful. They were patient to answer all my questions about fast pass, standby pass, premier access etc. which I was not familiar with. For early access and convenient travel into the park I highly suggest staying at the Toy Story Hotel. The theme of the hotel was well executed and I enjoyed the breakfast. I suggest eating dinner in Disney Town or in the park because if you leave it too late you will have to order room service. The food was ok I wouldn’t order again. Thanks for a great stay!

As well pulled into the driveway, our excitement started to build, especially in our 3 year old. We were greeted warmly by the staff and checked in, although our room wasn't yet ready. Our bags were held for us and we headed over to Downtown Disney for a look around.
There were plenty of opportunities to get character photos while there, our trip was extended by a day due to a typhoon in the area that the hotel efficiently dealt with adjusting our booking. On check in we were explained the best way to get to, and see the park, including booking our fast passes.
The room we booked was nice, clean, and roomy enough for three of us.
The most interesting part of the hotel is just wandering around and looking at all the different types and styles of Toy Story themeing.
We ate at the cafe and restaurant while there and found both fine, although its hard to enjoy the food when you are paying 'Disney prices'
All up, hard to fault this hotel, we would definitely stay here again give the chance

A lot of expectation especially my twin loved Disney so very much!

But a bit disappointed about the quality of the hotels and food. The room is nothing to be talking about, the food even more terrible especially the breakfast, from the quality of the food and to the freshness of the food. The a la carte dinner was bad, my kids not even touch the food after the first bite

Having said this, the staff is very helpful and courteous

The vibe was sweet and the service is really good. The location is great, close to the parking lot, and walking distance to disney land and disney town, there is even a shuttle service. The only thing is the food, that'll be even nicer if the food can be better.

We stayed in The Toy Story hotel for 2 nights. Since they take many precautions regarding Covid-19, we needed to show our Shanghai health QR code every time we entered the hotel and got on the Disneyland shuttle. The food was tasty, the kid activities in the afternoon were good, but the best feature of the hotel is the early admission to the park with a private entrance near Tomorrowland!

A group of five adults and four U10 age children stayed at Toy Story hotel as the most convenient way to access Shanghai Disney.
In short, it was fantastic and I have no major complaints, but I have also never stayed in a hotel like this before.
Above all the staff were a delight and always cheerfully helpful. The rooms were clean and thoughtfully designed; functional over flash. Disney movies on tap. The hotel lobby was very child-
friendly and play apparatus was everywhere. Check-in could have been horrendous but we were politely managed through the process as efficiently as was possible.
Nice touches abounded: elevator Disney jokes, characters in costume and design links to the film.
Breakfast and dinner were satisfactory and fine for two days but I wouldn’t want that menu for much longer.
The toy story hotel mitigates the Disney park sensory overload by being comfortable, relaxed and toned down. My kids felt very happy to be coming back to a calm hotel and not be super hyped up. Everyone slept fitfully.

This is another of the great hotels in the Disney Chain. This one is at Shanghai Disneyland. The theming was great, the room was a good size and the refrigerator had it's own power source, so you can keep things cold when the electricity goes off when you take your key. One of the perks, if you stay 2+ nights is a 10% discount and early entry into Disneyland.

We arrived late at dawn, the front desk was happy to assist us for a quick check-in. My kids loved the room, designed for kids.
There is no amenity, ofcourse it is expected that guest will be visiting the Disneyland park in the day, but it would be nice if there is a pool or a play area for kids.
What is nice is Toy Story characters are present in the morning to delight the kids.

Very nice hotel. The Toy Story theme is in every detail. The cast members were very helpful and friendly. You can book fastpasses if you buy the tickets at the concierge desk. There's complimentary buses to the park and water bottles at the room.

Not sure about the exact size. But I'm a heavy set guy and there was enough room for me and my 3 year old daughter on one bed.
