The hotel looks run down and needs major improvement. I understand its COVID times but don't expect people to come and experience the algae growing in the bathrooms...nearly slipped and hurt myself! Also dont expect towels eventhough you go to the beachfront villas! Need to up your cleanliness game Uprising!

The food was okay but the rooms were not maintained. We had no bed sheets, blankets or towels to use. The room and the entire hotel to be honest looked very run-down. The downside to lowering the accommodation cost is that the service and maintenance of the entire hotel has drastically declined. I understand the unprecedented times Fiji is in however, if you're still open for business and providing a service, a standard of service is still expected.

Bula vinaka laisabulatale, We wish to thank you for the honest and constructive feedback. We understand its been long overdue. I wish to take ownership on behalf of my Team since there was a total miscommunication in regards to this room arrangement. The initial arrangement was for the Bure to be reserved only as a "day room" for your group. That was the whole reason why our housekeeping team didn't place extra bed sheets, blankets or towels in the Bure. As for the lowering of our accommodation rates, this was pre approved by our management in order to get in much needed sales that will assist in the upgrading of the resort and most importantly in meeting the much needed wage cost for our staff who had been voluntarily working to keep the resort running at this unprecedented times. Vinaka Vakalevu.

I had gone through a lot of reviews about this property before actually booking for our girls night out. After going through the reviews I did not had much expectation yet I just went to enjoy with my ladies. Actually I was quite surprised and happy with the service provided. Customer service was quite good but just be mindful you are on Fiji time. Expect few delays but you will not be disappointed. Free kayaks are available but there are no life guards on duty hence you swim at your own risk in the open sea. The setting of the property is best out of all. If you are looking for a Fijian life style away from the busy city then this is just for you. We had a villa to ourself which came with two bathrooms - one inside with a bath tub and the outside opened into an open shower. You will get the perfect fijian bure feel in here.

The beach bures were in a lovely setting with a well maintained garden. The outdoor shower was very, very nice. The beach was great for long walks and it wasn't too far to get to the shopping/restaurant centre (10 minute walk). The staff were helpful and mostly very friendly. The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety and the food we ordered for lunch was very good (pulled pork sandwich and guacamole/chips). The gnocchi wasn't the best, would not order that again. The pool water looked unclean and cloudy, but it did improve by the last day we were there. The bed was soft but comfortable, but the pillows and day beds were smelly. Both the kitchenette and bathroom sinks did not drain well. The sheets and blankets were cleaned, but stained (so a bit off putting). Overall, we would stay here again as it was a good bargain and a good getaway.
