This was located at the land side arrival rather than the air side entrance.
I flew domestic into Mumbai Airport as I had an international connection to Amsterdam early next morning. After having arrived with a negative PCR test and after collecting my luggage from the belt, I exited the airport area and walk right without leaving the airport building. You then can either take the lift to the bottom floor or trolley your luggage around the slope from the exit floor to the viitn floor where this transit hotel is located.
Once there I was greeted by some helpful staff that quickly sorted out the key cards to my room post Confirmation of documents against the hotel booking.
The have an open restaurant right next to the reception that quite late if not round the clock. This restaurant had alcohol and food on their menu.
The room was comfortable and had a decent size toilet and shower area. I ordered room service which was quite prompt. Pizza ordered was delivered fresh within 15 minutes of the order being placed.
This hotel as a hourly range package, it took the 4 to 7 hour package; and although I was meant to checkout at 10:30 pm, the reception allowed to slightly delay by checkout up until 11:30 pm for no extra charge, which was much appreciated as my international flight was around 3 am.
All in all a decent stay that is convenient as its the same airport building.

I stayed at the Niranta twice during my layover into and out of Mumbai. Niranta offered a clean, decent place to stay overnight or 8 hours, with the most important convenience of not having to leave the terminal at all. This was the biggest blessing during these Covid times.
It is however quite expensive and can improve what it provides for the price. The rooms are windowless, inside the terminal, and there's a stale musty smell. But the rooms as such are clean, and the bathrooms and amenities are excellent. The front desk folks didn't seem very personable, and most importantly were lax about mask wearing during the height of the pandemic. Even upon requesting them, they seemed reluctant to show this consideration to their hotel guests. When you consider, most travelers are choosing Niranta to avoid the risk of going out to the nearest 5 star hotel, this couldnt-care-less attitude toward the pandemic, becomes crucial.
I didn't try the food at Niranta, but am told there was room service and also saw a dining space. Some Attendants were particularly helpful. Mr Sajji who brought me from the terminal, and also helped me to depart to terminal was conscientious and courteous. Thank you Sajji

We stayed at this hotel as we had a connecting flight in Mumbai. Myself, the wife and 2 kids did not have a good experience here. There was zero hot water available, even after complaining 3 times to the reception they said it will come, but didn't. Spoke to the manager upon check out and he completely blanked me off, had nothing to say at all and not even an apology. These rooms are not cheap, so for the price you pay as a minimum you'd expect to have a hot shower or even warm water shower in the morning, but nothing. Your better off staying just out of the airport with better rooms and better service.

Stayed here overnight between the two flights. It’s practically impossible to find and reach the hotel if you are approaching from city side. Inexperienced and unprofessional staff having no clue of hotel industry operation, if you are lucky to find it check in process is killing. I shuttled/walked between the two properties and staff had no clue about my booking. Incidentally I was not the only one, there were 4 more guests (non Indians) who were struggling the unprofessional behaviour of hotel staff.
Noisy cramp rooms, housekeeping staff continues to make commotion all night and it’s impossible to wink. It feels as if you are sleeping on the pavement alongside a noisy Mumbai street.
Hotel is more interested in shunting you out (they politely call it check out) at least 4 hours before your flight so that they can rotate the rooms and make more money. Very unusual of airport hotels anywhere in the world which are known for there convenience and agility to handle transiting passengers.
Very unimpressive breakfast with hardly any choices. You won’t find any staff to help you if want anything from kitchen.
Niranta Mumbai Airport is no way worth the money and rather a very painful experience overall.
There are many decent star rated properties around Mumbai Airport and I am sure at this price they will be better than this crapy place.

We stayed here 1 night (15 Feb) as arrived Mumbai T1 from Nagpur & were leaving from T2 early morning next day for Aurangabad. Firstly BEWARE, there are 2 Niranta Hotels at T2 Mumbai - one inside terminal and one off site and 2-300yd walk to lift into terminal. We did not realise this and thought we were booked into terminal hotel. When we arrived our luggage & hand luggage was scanned on entrance to hotel, as normal. The security guard was very officious and demanded that we opened both cases and remove a pen knife/bottle opener and various small pairs of scissors that were with repair kits and cosmetics bags within the cases.We did not know where these items were as they were scattered around the cases and we had to remove all our clothes which had been neatly packed to find the offending items. This was all happening outside the hotel and in view of other guests who were coming and going. Our travelling companions had the same problem and at one stage we had 4 open cases on a table outside the hotel. Bear in mind these were checked in bags which has travelled on 2 international flights from the UK, UAE and 2 domestic flights in India without any problems. We were also tired and were due for early wake up at 3.00 for onward flight. It should also be noted that there were 2 or 3 other unhappy guests in front of us at check in and tempers got frayed a bit. To cap it all restaurant did not serve alcohol and once we finally got checked in after about a 30 minute delay we were escorted to the other hotel inside T2 where we had dinner. In all this the staff at the off site hotel were very unhelpful would not intervene with security and did not offer any apology whatsoever. It was also very inconvenient that we had to pick up our sharps on departure and fit back into our cases in lobby,lick them up then walk 2-300 yds to terminal.
We will be passing our feedback on to our agent in the UK, and also other ground handling agencies we know in India in order that they are aware of this situation. We certainly will not be using the offsite Niranta Transit Hotel again in the future and suggest they find alternatives.

For an airport hotel, it is fine and clean. If you can get breakfast or lunch/dinner in the room rate - go for it; as it is a reasonable charge for the convenience.
The only reason I took off 2 stars is because there was only a single bath towel for the entire room (I was a sole traveler). Further, the towel was of poor quality. For a 4-star hotel with 4 star prices for a short stay, you should expect a minimum of two bath towels and two hand towels. Otherwise, it is a great disservice and gives the impression they are trying to be cheap and cutting corners.
Also, there were 2 mosquitoes in my room. I let that pass because it is India, and sometimes, things are beyond one's control. But I can't let the stinginess of the 1-towel only pass. That's a disgrace.

For those wishing to experience prison life without actually going to prison, the Niranta is perfect.
Noel/Nol ? Did a great job of checking us in. We preordered the American Breakfast - safest option? And asked if that included sausages and bacon. He actually phoned the ‘chef’ while we were there an he confirmed that it was included and available. Great Customer Service from Noel.
That’s where it ended.
My room was tiny with no window or view. Internet and television did not work. In an airport hotel you mainly want to rest or sleep. Not here, with paper thin walls and no noise control, almost impossible.
Breakfast arrived on time but was unedible. See pic. No bacon or sausages as promised and despite 3 phone calls and visiting reception, and many promises, they never turned up. The rest of the breakfast consisted of some sort of sloppy cereal, a sauce of some kind, 2 bits of milk bread and an overcooked omelette. This has resulted when someone is thrown into a job with no training and no desire to be there. How anybody could have pride in presenting that to a customer is beyond cognition. I think they called this person chef, maybe they have really good humour and I missed the point.
My recommendation is don’t under any circumstance stay at this hotel.

You know if you have a time gap of 10-12 hours between your flights and want to freshen up l, you can check this one out but only if it offers decent pricing else it's completely not worth it. just within a KM of airport T2, you will find many kuch better hotels with better value for money. Rooms are extremely small and damn congested. Service is as bad as it can be. After giving around 6-7 calls in a day requesting for housekeeping, nobody still didn't come in. Staff is polite but lazy af. Since I was there on work at Mumbai Airport for three nights four days i thought to try them this time. But, i would strongly not recommend them for this long stay.

Due to pandemic the process of getting out is long and tiresome . It took 2 hrs and at about 11.30 pm we being senior citizens were too tired . We were approached by a airport hotel staff and we just followed him . The hotel charged is 6600 rs for about 6 hrs stay . The rooms were just basic and not sure sanitized since we say some tissues were lying under and half used tissue role kept . At that hour we did not care much since vistara counter opens around 5 am and we habe luggage and checking in area have no chairs to sit . Not a great experience but from convenience point it is fine

The hotel is inside the airport on ground floor. Not air side so you don't need to go through security. You do however have to show your flight ticket to enter the airport
(Good idea for security)
If you ask at hotel desk on check in will provide you with person to take you to check in for your flight.You go in two lifts although it is only on the second floor. The staff are very helpful polite and always smiling.
