I have been to this restaurant a few years back and I am suprised by the fact that they are not only consistent but have gotten better.
The food was amazing. I was hosting my family over for lunch and they all loved the food. There was a moment of silence when the food arrived.
The Kashmiri festival was in play and the chef plated some mouth watering appetizers and main.
I must thank Chef Vijay and Chef Sowmya for the wonderful food.
The service staff were impeccible in their duties.
I must thank Richard, Vinayak & Asif whose hospitality skills are second to none. I chose not to place an order for the lunch and i placed my faith with Richard and asked him to coordinate with the chef and to suprise me with the food. I was not disappointed with my decesion as the food was simply amazing.
Vinayak and Asif ensured that we were looked after at all times. I believe that they have trained very hard as they could anicipate our needs before it was asked for. The water goblets were always filled whenever the glass was half full which shows their eye for detail. They were very soft spoken, respectful and polite and that wae genuine.
I come fron the hospitality industry and understand all aspects of service. These guys are truely world class.
Richard had a wonderful conversation with me and my guests with regards the hotel and the restaurants. He is a wonderful host with excellent interpersonal skills.
These guys are an asset to the organisation and i would like to thank them for the wonderful experience i had in the restaurant. I think they need to be recognised and showcased.
I am currently based in Abu Dhabi and work in the aviation industry. I have been to most countries around the world but the hospitality i recieve in India is by far the best.
I always make it a point to visit Sofitel specially Jyran not only bcoz of the food but for the service i recieve. Truely World Class. I always tell my collegues that the hotels in India are the best when it comes to service.

I have stayed at hotels throughout Mumbai, this is one of the most exclusive & luxurious property. I have stayed here numerous times & have never been disappointed.
Upon arrival bags are taken immediately taken care of and we are warmly welcomed by Ms. Ruhi & given refreshing welcome drinks.
We have all our meals at the restaurants on site.
Breakfast at Pondicherry has wide variety of choices & delicious food and service were prompt.
We are also offered breakfast in bed option but we prefer to have it at the restaurant.
Us being the gold members of the Accor group, we are mostly upgraded to a suite, all thanks to Ms. Ruhi. She personally takes care in our accommodation & gets us an upgraded rooms. An example of a true Indian Hospitality. We are truly impressed & grateful. This shows the culture of the group & people she represents. Thank you

From our very first entrance into Sofitel Mumbai BKC the ambiance was fascinating. Then we went to the reception for check in. That was where we met a young, amiable and fantastic staff by the name Anuja. The reception we received from her was out of this world.
We were given as usual the welcome drink and then were checked in. As a Gold member of All Accor Live Limitless our room was upgraded to the privileged Club Millesime room. This lady escorted us to our room to ensure that everything was in order. It was a royal treatment. We requested that more bottles of water should be brought to our room everyday and she immediately approved. Each of the 6 days we spent at the hotel, enough drinking water was placed in our room.
When we went for dinner and then breakfast the next morning, we met another wonderful group of staff who were so eager to help in anyway to make our experience unique. A specific distinguishing staff among these staff at the restaurant was a man by the name Noheed. He ensured that everytime we went for our meal that we were well taken care of.
As we settled down day after day, we observed and took note of the friendly staff of the hotel, at virtually all the Departments. By the third day of our stay, my wife asked me if we have ever seen or experienced Accor group of hotels that their staff were as nice as this Sofitel Mumbai BKC staff. We tried to see if there is any hotel in this group all over the world that could match this hotel. Our verdict was, NONE that we have been to can be compared with this Sofitel Mumbai BKC team.
The cleanliness of the hotel was a top notch. Our memories for our stay here will last long if not forever as we were even given a precious gift by Ms Anuja that will always remind us of Sofitel Mumbai BKC.
We where so treated well that I could not even use my welcome drink card as Gold member, because there was no need since the treatment surpassed the need to go for additional drink.

I can honestly say this is the best hotel experience I have ever had and this is after a lifetime of travel.
I feel confident to write this review mid stay as i know the experience wont change. It is amazing, starting with the Sofitel smell in the reception which is always a delight but the staff here make this stay truly memorable, everyone has a smile with a genuine welcome for you everyone from the security staff to reception, the exec lounge and our artisan bar friends are always attentive. Unlike other hotels they do this from a genuine desire to make your stay a good one we have been exceptionally impressed. There are lots of people to call but I don't have all of their names however Kalavarti, Basit, Pranay, Aman in the artizan bar have been brilliant and housekeeping (Prabhjot) truly amazing I only hope I have spelt all of their names correctly. Prabhjot even spotted our books and made us bookmarks and left a note...how personal is that!
Food is to die for especially breakfast, the choice is vast and every culture catered for and you must sample each, the staff are attentive and encourage you to try new foods. Overall amazing...one tip upgrade to Exec great value

The Sofitel always puts on a great buffet and they did not disappoint the evening we visited. Reassuring to see the safety measures in place due to Covid. Right from temperature checks and hand sanitization at the entrance, to ensuring guests used the disposable gloves provided while serving food. Friendly, hospitable staff, notably Rajesh and Prakash who were always on hand to ensure we were well taken care of.

The change of the year was celebrated at the Sofitel bkc and it was the right decision.
The hotel adhered to the rules framed by the authorities and celebrations although limited were enjoyable and super.
Guided by the energetic general manager Mr. Vikas who was present throughout the celebrations and supported by the wonderful executives like Noheed and Cindrella the new year was celebrated with a bang.
It was surprising to see the executives active the next morning at breakfast and Special thanks to Noheed and his team for the enjoyable breakfast, with hygiene gloves sanitizer being important for the health of the guests
The next year will be Sofitel as the experience was fantastic

Excellent Place. Food & Drinks are very expensive but taste was good and sufficient quantity for 2 persons. Service is best. Rahul provided us with very good service.Really appreciate. Nice decor. Location suitable on Weekends as week days it would be crowded due to office area.

I was traveling for business with my sisters and had one of the worst hotel experiences here. Mainly because of the communication efforts of the staff on duty. We reached around 1:30 and check-in was at 2 so we hung around in the lobby area which was extremely crowded at the moment due to a wedding party. The guests in the lobby area were not wearing masks and the hotel staff did nothing till I personally went and requested them to do something about it. At about 1:50 I asked if our room was ready and I was told by a young lady named "Anuja" at the desk that they were getting it ready since we were triple occupancy. I had some work to get to right away so I requested a WiFi password and I was straight up denied because you can access the wifi only when you get a room assigned which is ridiculous because at this point it was 1:55 pm. But I patiently agreed and came back at 2:15, out room was still not ready and the delay was being blamed on some technical issue. Hotels need to understand whatever issues you may have they can't be used as excuses to customers because your costs aren't affected so why is my experience?! At about 2:40 we were given a different room and were told that once the original room issue is fixed we would be moved there. Which again for a 1-night trip is absurd to shift rooms. In this room, we were told that there is a couch, which can accommodate the 3rd person. If we had to sleep on a couch we would've gone for Airbnb. To which the hotel representatives response was "hotel staff also sleeps on these, they are very comfortable". Not something they should teach you in the hospitality business. I paid for a triple occupancy not to have one of us be uncomfortable on a couch. Unfortunately, that's how we had to spend our stay there. When asked Anuja later in the evening about changing the room she literally snapped back and yelled at my sister, which is absolutely NOT acceptable. I would not recommend this property at all. There are tons of better ones in the same neighborhood . The absolute worst experience!

Ull need a cab...probably Ola, uber..There is Bandstand, Bandra , Reclamation bandra , google them....there're many brs and good eateries... Also google HITCHKI, BKC...they serve amazing coctails and super delicious food...sofitel hotel serves Amazing Indian food at JYRAN which is in-house restaurant, but super expensive .

It becomes a major meal for the day and if u r busy for the rest of the day with work u can have a light lunch
I prefer having a heavy breakfast which sorts out my day till dinner
