A quiet and peaceful retreat, particularly convenient for finding mental peace and physical exercise (there's wellness, spa, fitness). Delicious food and sumptuous meals are the primary advantages of this place, along with the very kind staff. My room was on the sixth floor so I couldn't get Wi-fi signal, which made me angry because I was on a business trip and I needed to use the Internet service. The room was clean, but very small, and I didn't mind the size of the room that much (it was compensated for with a beautiful view from the balcony), but the size of the bed. It was unacceptably small even for a girl like me who's 168 cm tall! Prices in the hotel bar are very reasonable. Just avoid ordering coffee, I wasn't satisfied with its taste - either espresso or nescaffe.

This hotel has been recently renovated, however it is not up to higher standards than 2*. The hotel currently caters to low income population sponsored by the social medical funds and if you are looking for a better service, feel and experience you should consider some other hotel, in fact, there is currently only one that could be called pleasantly nice.
Merkur, at the same time, offers convenience as the medical staff, nutritionists, lab, rehab and spa are within the building, as well as restaurant with diet options for diabetics and cholesterol concerns. It is a very inexpensive getaway which you have to compensate with a little bit of patience and tolerance for lack of proper services and disorganization.

It is really 2* hotel with the 2* servis. But people in Serbia and the staff at the hotel are very nice and helpfull. I was for the second time at this hotel in April 2013 with the aunt of my wife. The stay at this hotel was nice, but if you want to have a little bit more comfort you need to book a higher class room. The treatment at the hotel was at the mediocre niveau, but massages at the aquacenter "Fons Romanus" are very good and reasonable priced. The best in massages at this center is Marco. The food at the restaurant was mediocre, but good for the price. All in all it was not bad stay and I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Large pool in the picture is just one of the reasons we want to go here. There is also magnificent food, a lot of fun to enjoy in the village and water, seven different sources of fresh water. This small town is divided by small river, but connected with a lot of bridges. One of them is called, the bridge of love. Hotel is by the river and is also a hospital in lower floors. Here you can check and improve your health. In the basement, near this pool, there is also turkish steam bath and finnish sauna. Hot beds and rooms for massage and recreation. We had nice 3 day vacation in a premium room, last one available. Planning to go again in a few weeks or months. It was celebration of Ortodox New Year and it was festive all weekend.

I do not know where to start, the hotel is simply a disaster. The staff is rude and pickpocket minded. Are kind and helpful only medics. Food is scarce and monotonous. Room, single as a prison cell. Air conditioning in every single room is extremely mobile and bučna.Bathroom a little poorly lit and very messy. The door can not be closed (the sliding) when using the toilet.Balcony is messy and very poor condition. One gets the impression that this was a room that was rebuilt as from the next room heard as all the walls are made of paper. The front of the hotel and the reception was OK. Simply put, any other hotel is better than this. The cost of housing is too high for what is offered. PS. Any private accommodation is better than this hotel and certainly quieter.

I was at this hotel two months ago. I must tell that I was very suprised.I was at Serbia first time. Profesional medical staff, delicious food, very nice wellness center and aqua center . I saw that people who comes by the social found are separated from commercial guest. For that money i get much much more than i expect.

Doing my regular annual medical checkup, chose this facility.
Friendly staff, solid diabetic food.
My room was shaggy but clean. No wifi in the rooms, only cable internet. Free wifi in lobby.
Hotels pool area is rather cold so I used it only once.
The spa (was included in package) is a couple minutes away. Beware of manicure, lady ruined my nails.
Good to visit in winter and summer, nice to take long walks, but everything else just sucks.
As I was leaving the hotel, lots of adaptations and reconstruction has been started in hotel. Wish them all the best.

Separated beds instead of a queen size bed as we reserved.....bloody blanket inside the closet, towels are of a yellowish color instead of white, found empty bottles of water at the terrace.....food - not tasty at all, a complete disaster. We were awakened by a staff member at 7:00 am who entered our room and left w/o saying she was sorry....no knocking at all. Avoid, avoid, avoid.....

It’s ok. Nothing special, everything is old, but clean. But one thing is really annoying- cleaning lady is entering the room every single morning few times. This hotel is for old people perfect. For young- I’m sure you can find better place to stay. 😫

Alright.... NO ONE in the WORLD has SPAS like this! Such natural mineral healing waters to treat all ailments date back to the Roman Era when Caesars came to these spas for treatment! They have this down to a fine science! Imagine a colon cleanse with mineral water? . .. Yes! They do them! I will be coming annually as should every good health & wellness-nut Serb all over the world!
