One of the most famous hotels in the former Yugoslavia (the former Zvezda) with its charm of the old city, a spa hotel in the city centre, has been attracting numerous guests from all over the world for decades already. A large number of events took place under the roof of this hotel, which is still considered the second largest congress (events) capacity in Serbia. Spacious and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and excellent food show why this complex has been awarded the golden medal of Serbian spa tourism for years. 86 Lux rooms | 20 Deluxe rooms | 10 Lux studios | 4 Deluxe apartments | Zepter Conference Hall {1200 seats} Conference Hall {200 seats} Exhibition space | Boarding house restaurant {270 seats} Crystal Hall-Restaurant {450 seats} | Indoor pool - thermal mineral water temp. 25 - 28 ° C | Sauna | Fitness and Relax Studio | At the location of the former old Hotel Zvezda, on the central part of Promenade and at a surface of 11,445 m2, today lies the magnificent Hotel Zepter, one of the largest and most impressive hotels in Vrnjacka Banja. The hotel is a unique blend of the old and new part. The old part, from 1920, was directly erected at the Promenade, the main pedestrian communication of Vrnjacka Banja, along Vrnjacka River and its external architecture is protected by law as a historical monument, and a new, larger part of the hotel, faces the street parallel to Promenade, which gives the hotel perfect position and good access from all sides. Hotel Zepter offers its guests various facilities: two restaurants (Zepter SmartLife restaurant and Crystal Hall), Zepresso aperitif bar, summer terrace overlooking the Promenade within Zepter SmartLife restaurant, Zepter Garden Block, open space where guests can enjoy a diverse range of food and beverages. From sports facilities, the most attractive is the new indoor swimming pool with thermal water and Jacuzzi (which has its own garden with aperitif bar in the summer period), as well as a brand new gym and sauna. This hotel is also known for its congress halls - the Zepter Conference Hall and Zepter Meeting Room, with a capacity of up to 1,200 seats, with the possibility of plenary work and by sections in as many as five smaller rooms.

Hotel under renovation or just being built, we were there to do a Taekwondo campus where the treatment was correct and with good service. Maybe what they should improve is the kitchen service, that's where we had some problems with the meals! Although when it came to allergies they behaved like a 10.

Very nice place with absolutely fantastic music in the centre of Vrnjacka Banja. Good for relaxation.Service is ok but food is normal.I would suggest them to improve quality of the meals especially the insufficient size.Everything else is ok.

Good hotel with private parking garage under the hotel. We stayed in the deluxe wing which was newly renovated and has high quality finishes. Recommend if staying In Vrnjacka Banja as it is right next to the main centre.

We choose Zepter hotel for this vacation. But we were very disapointed. Standard lux rooms are very small. We didn’t get toiletries every day! Dinner is untill 09pm, but if you are there in 08pm food is poor. Also we were there with child, but we didn’t get extra pillow and bedding for her... We were in july here in Vrnjacka Banja also but in other 4* hotel... but that hotel and zepter can’t be compared!
Pool is big and clean! Staff in wellness and spa is also ok!

Pros: location, clean room, parking lot (IF you find a spot! Otherwise you may pay the city parking)
Cons: poor service, no air condition/ventilation, old rooms, work in progress everywhere you look, hot tub at the swimming pool area doesn't work (on the booking.com it is said that there is a hot tub), working time of the swimming pool is 11am - 5pm (no possibility to stay in that area after checking out - even in Crown plaza (4 stars), for example, which is a much better hotel, you could stay by the pool for the rest of your last day!)
The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is literally in the centre of the city. We were there only for one night and I can tell: more than enough! I didn't expect anything, however, I was shocked that even though it is a little bit expensive for such an old hotel, the biggest problem was the staff! In the middle of the summer, during the festival time, when the hotel is completely booked, on the reception worked 2 women, but somehow they worked together per one guest, so it was like ONE person was working and they are extremely SLOW and lost!!!
For checking in, we waited for couple of hours because our room wasn't ready (because a receptionist allowed previous guests to stay longer without checking the reservation/booking and she forgot about that completely). However, the man, who we think is a manager, sent us to the hotel's cafe to sit and drink something on the hotel's bill (which was a very nice touch!). Check out: I was waiting in a line to pay and check out for 50 minutes!!!! About 8-9 people was in front of me when I came.
The hotel is very old and they work on its renovation. There are some new things (like faucets, TV) and some old ones - we didn't mind that at all. However, the service and the staff is a complete failure (they act kindly, but they seem unprofessional and phlegmatic about it) !!!
I strongly recommend the hotel management to put more money in education and training of the staff, their organization, software and similar things, because that is making the biggest impression.

The hotel is right at the pedestrian zone of the spa. Its a newly renovated hotel but I guess it’s still work in progress. In our room - new beds and night table, old cabinets, old dresser, new tv and air conditioner, very OLD AND OUTDATED bathroom (small, no shower cabin but just a curtain, no ceiling lights, very dark).

Pros: I understand that location is mainly what I pay for in this hotel. The price includes the use of the pool, sauna, pool table, table tennis and gym. The breakfast buffet was also good with a lot of choices. And also very nice and accommodating staff.
Cons: Outdated bathroom and insufficient parking space.

I have stayed in Zepter Hotel for seven days and it was such a pleasure. Hotel is located in the very centre of Vrnjacka banja, at the Promenade. The room was on the opposite side of Promenada, with sight to the hill and a lot of trees and it was so quiet, relaxing and good for sleeping. Food in hotel is very good and tasty, there is a buffet with a variety of different meals. Staff is nice and polite. In the price are included swimming pool, massage, gym and sauna. Unfortunately, jacuzi did not work.

This massive old regime style hotel, has pros and cons. Situated in the very centre, adjacent to a park, it has a fine location. Staff is friendly and very helpful, but only a couple of them speaks English. The rooms are not really well maintained. Taking a shower in a standard room takes some precaution as the whole place can readily be flooded as the shower curtains are too short. We had to change a room as the aircon was out of order. Room telephone did not work. Breakfast buffet, in a giant, spooky hall, starting at 6.30 hs, time and again only had a full meal after 7.10 hs, black tea not available, hot tea water coming at last. So a bit sloppy. Management should have an eye on it, I suggest. Dinner buffet abundant but of so so quality. No safe, no fridge in the room. But the free wifi is excellent as is the TV. Swimming pool available. So, not bad, but surely not excellent. But the staff we met was OK and very helpful time and again, I would like to stress.

I can freely say this is worse visit at one hotel i ever been. Room we got was not fully equipped. We did not had bath suits or even slippers basic things at hotels even with less category. Stuff was verry unprofessional. With explanation that still did not get rate. Weather it is old famous hotel in Vrnjacka Banja i was expectrd they to keep at least level before privatisation if not better and improved version. Anyway i am not recomending it to future guests. For sure me and my family will not be visitors for next time
