This hotel was hard to find for the taxi driver as it doesn’t proclaim itself. Once found we then had to climb some steep steps into a small reception area. Thankfully the cab driver took my case. We were greeted by Vesna who was delightful. She and allege staff speak excellent English. But there was no chef, no evening meal, no bar area and the pool indoor) was closed for some of our stay. My room was spotless but reached by another set of stairs without a stair rail which isn’t easy for me as I walk with a stick! The bathroom was beautifully appointed, well-equipped with toiletries, towels, hair dryer etc.Otherwise the room was thankfully air conditioned with a small balcony overlooking the sea. I couldn’t make the TV work but that didn’t matter.

Breakfast was great-cold meats, cheese, croissants, fruit etc. the rooms had kettles and tea but I don’t drink tea so a coffee arrived every morning and again with breakfast. Just the bread wasn’t the best.

We persuaded Vesna to let us buy and open a bottle of wine and they kept it In the fridge for us so we could have a glass before we went out for supper. It was delicious.

This lovely little hotel was almost completely empty. The village has few shops and only two accessible restaurants, one belongs to the Hotel California (really!) and the other is on the beach. The beach is stony. There are serious slopes to navigate! It was also very hot-34 degrees! With all the disadvantages I loved it! We met Serbs, Hungarians and Montenegrins. They were all friendly and interesting.

I was really dissapointed to find out the spa, pool, gym and outdoor restaurant was closed. No warning on the website at all and part of the reason I booked it was because of this. I booked a suite with a balcony sea view and was given a side view obstructed by two other balconys. They agreed to move me to a front facing room but not a suite and for no discount in price. The first two days of my trip were confronted with a group of workmen at the front of the hotel removing unslightly rubbish in a trailer causing a huge noise, being rude, spitting, smokong and staring at me whilst I tried to enjoy the balcony. This went on all Saturday afternoon. The restaurant downstairs is dreery and depressing (the outside area was closed) so I asked each morning to have my breakfast on my balcony which the staff obliged. On that note the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was just ok. The tv didnt work. There was no complimetry bottled water. Good location for wonderful views of Sveti Stefan and the gorgeous beaches but hard to get elsewhere on the coast without a car. There is one bus that goes back and forth to Budva for 2.50 which is useful but its 20 euros in a taxi. I wouldnt come back.

Excellent value for money - beautiful large clean room with stunning balcony views of Sveti Stefan beach and island. Brilliant breakfast (so much lovely food and variety) and very helpful staff. Made the trip - it really is a beautiful place to stay - just a 5 min walk to beach. Cannot fault it

We were only guests in a winter weekend. We enjoyed very much. Perfect place. Smiling and respectful staff. Good breakfast.
Daliborka, Managing Direktor, was very friendly and kind. She was the one particularly who made us love the hotel.

The service at Hotel Azimut was excellent! With all members of staff being friendly, polite and extremely helpful with lovely smiles.
The rooms were fine, spacious and clean. The sea - view rooms should always be requested!
The location was not what we expected, because although the view was exceptional, the stretch between the hotel and the beach was a difficult trek due to the hundreds of steep steps, through ugly apartments. You should not consider this hotel or area if you have young children in pushchairs, or elderly members.
The hotel provided everything as stated on the brochure apart from the disappointing library. And Sveti-Stefan itself is an ugly place with apartments and few restaurants.
The food at the restaurant in the hotel was over-priced and very disappointing at times.
Overall, not a place to come if you want a relaxing beach holiday.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel to end our summer holidays in Montenegro. We enjoyed the situation (even if too narrow to drive through the streets), the view overlooking the famous and expensive island (we had a seafront room), one part of the staff (especially the young ones), the indoor swimming pool. Unfortunately we were really disappointed by the bad smell into the room except with the air condition which masked it during the day ; a lack of hot water pressure all along the day. By the way, I was especially upset about one staff member who tried to let us pay a bill due to its own mistake (he claimed to have not understood our dinner order) and did not hesitate to come up to our room to ask for money to my wife during I was smoking outside the hotel. Then I had a strong discussion to let him remember he had to calm down and accept his mistake. Absolutely indecent and all except professional!

We were upgraded to the luxury suite (room 16) which had plenty of space, a well appointed en suite bathroom, a sun terrace with sun loungers and great sea view, overlooking the island of Sveti Stefan. The room was clean, well maintained and well equipped. The air conditioning worked well.
The breakfast buffet was fine - plenty of choice although the food could have been replenished more quickly. We had one evening meal in the restaurant. This was good, as was the service.
We never found the library or snooker room - perhaps this was in their sister hotel next door - the Romanov?
We used the pool and gym. The cycle machine needed maintenance - the seat could not be adjusted. The pool area was clean and tidy and we were the only users at that time.
As parking is fairly restricted in the village, it was good to have allocated parking at the hotel.
The beach is a short walk away (5 mins), albeit down a flight of steps or down a fairly steep road.

Good:
1. Location, Sveti Stefan is amazing.

2. Clean, fresh and new rooms.

3. Good value for money, there are not a lot of good hotels to choose from. This is actually a good option.

4. Breakfast is nice.

5. The best rooms are the standard rooms, the larger rooms such as the suites and luxe rooms have a only partial sea view, decide if you want a large room or a standard room with a killer view!

6. It's a good hotel, save the money and go for the standard rooms which are great! Fortunately my mate booked one of these rooms... sunset drinks on those balconies is stunning!

7. Airport pick up recommended

8. Friendly staff

9. Wifi is v helpful when traveling.

Things to keep in mind:
1. MUST ask for an sea view room, my suite was partial sea views (through bars)... standard rooms are the best. Sadly when I complained the hotel was full and they were unable to accommodate. Ask the hotel where the room is located and if it's full or partial view. If you want a larger room, with a lounge room etc, this is a good option.
2. The suites sadly miss the mark with partial sea views and are dark. There is a private deck.. which is not great and all you have is AC noise. You would never sit there.
3. No irons in the room, you have to send out for ironing, must be sent before 10 and back by 3pm
4. WiFI constantly needs to be logged in. It's painful.
5. Sadly you can smoke on the breakfast terrace... really puts you off your food and ruins it for those who don't smoke.
6. The restaurant terrace plays music into the night and early morning.. cool music... but is loud enough to hear in your room.

Well what a week, firstly the staff are great, so friendly and polite. They picked us up from airport. Rooms great and spacious but pick one on the front with a sea view.
Okay it four star but the breakfast is hit and miss, some days you can have one thing but the next day you can't, no breakfast cereal, intermittent fruit. If you want decent coffee or water or fresh juice you have to pay. We've eaten in the restaurant 3 times, first night we chose from the menu and food was fine, but then we arrived in heaven after speaking with chef and waiter he cooked what we asked for after agreeing a price. Absolutely amazing my seafood pasta was to die for and the prawn risotto my wife asked for was as she said the best she's ever ate, we are talking five star rating without a doubt. This chef is going places. The wine list boasts world class wine but hasn't to date had much stock, they are in the middle of changing the wine list, why this wasn't done prior to the season I'm at a loss. We had a disaster when the whole resort lost water due to a burst water main for 36 hours but they supplied plenty of 5 litre water bottles so we at least have a wash. Water bowsers for kitchens etc Great work by general manager who kept us informed of what was going on and told it as it was, all running okay now, I believe a buffet breakfast were you could help yourself to what you can have and a menu for what you could have and pay for would save a lot of confusion. + The location is fantastic as you can easily walk to and from the beach (had friends staying at other places that required a lot of walking, even though on the map, it did not look far.)

+ The room was big with a king size bed as well as a daybed.

+ The bathroom was huge and we had no problems with hot water.

+ The view from our room was fantastic and the sunset over the Aman resort is breathtaking.

+ Hotel provides big fluffy towels for the beach, so it's great as some of the other hotels do not.

+++ WiFi is fantastic as they have hotspots for each floor.

+ Hotel staff are very friendly. If you want to go to Budva, ask them to call you a taxi and make sure to get the explanation about how taxis work there so you are not ripped off when you come back.

The breakfast was good (the quality of the food was good) but the variety could be changed up more as it gets boring after a few days.

Did not eat at the restaurant other than breakfast so can't speak to that...

Did not use gym or spa or indoor pool (the beach was calling every day).
