Detailed Reviews
My family and I stayed at Pansion 22 for just one night in july 2010. Arriving from the Bay of Kotor, the trip to Cetinje was a nice, relaxing get-away. The owners of Pansion 22 is a very nice couple, who will do their best to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are all relatively new, very clean and with somewhat comfortable beds. Ask for the topfloor room with balcony - an excellent place for afternoon relaxation and views of the mountains.
Be aware that - as in many other places in Montenegro - water is a scarce ressource in summer. When we were there, water was only there after 8 in the evening.

This is no frills accommodation. It's clean and despite our room being at the front and so on the road, it was quiet at night. Lovely traditional balcony with two chairs and a table off the room so we'd definitely recommend asking for the top floor even though it means walking up a few flights of stairs. No breakfast provided but there is a restaurant on the next corner where you are given breakfast. Great place for us to stay a night on a walking holiday.

Pansion 22 was our first experience on a 8 day road trip throughout Montenegro. After getting to know the Montenegrin traffic we arrived in the cozy and charming Cetinje. In the neighborhood of the hotel we noticed an older gentelman making hand signals to us. The guy was part of the hotel and had already noticed us and did reserve a parking spot for us (which is very helpful in a country where everyone parks their car on each avalailble open spot). The very charming reception was staffed with an older lady who knows who will visit and only speaks a few words of English.
The room itself, although very old fashioned (Some may call it retro), made us feel like we were in a movie: a view throughout the wooden cupboards and trees on a small street and a stunning view on the mountain range. Although everything you need is available, it was all a bit outdated, but that really contributed to the charming experience!
Breakfast is served in a pizzeria across the street. Lucky for us, the same guy of the parking spot was sitting in the café next to it and was again so kind to show us the way. What a perfect guide!
The breakfast itself was very basic in the sense that you for some bread and you could get an omelette with ham and/or cheese. Although the coffee was not for our taste, we enjoyed two fulfilling breakfasts that made the perfect start to our day.

Booked into Pansion 22 By our travel company, the night was long and I could not wait to leave. Read on for details.
The street front doorway takes you up a few flights of steps to a series of rooms, varying in size. Mine, a single was small, one of the smallest rooms I have spent a night in. The bed no, make that a narrow cot, had an unforgiving thin mattress with an even more unforgiving and uncomfortable pillow. Traveling close to 100 nights a year, this was the most uncomfortable surface I have tried to sleep on in memory.
The bathroom was small with a difficult to use shower and the sink with negligible counter space.
There was a desk, but the chair looked like a re-purposed call back, cantilevered dining chair that was unsuitable for the desk.
One of the guests ran their television until six in the morning. The night was punctuated by barking dogs.
Bright side: the room was clean and the staff was very nice.
When I return? Not intentionally.

nice and clean apartments in center of the city, run by polite and very helpful family. absolutely very good value for money. this is not for anyone who needs additional facilities and amenities. but you can have a very good bed and bathroom in the quiet place in the center of the town. perfect for backpackers. no breakfast in the house, but couple of meters is a perfect buffet/pizzeria, offers very rich breakfast.

This accommodation, bed only as no breakfast, is very convenient both for the town centre and for the bus station. There is cafe almost opposite that has excellent coffee and which is very cheap. The sheets and towels were changed daily. The rooms at the back, Ie all except 1 & 2, are quiet.

Good family run hotel. Rooms are clean but basic. There were some water instructions that said no water between 11-6 (I believe); however, there were water jugs in the room. Close to restaurants and the sights. Does the trick for one or two nights. While there is no breakfast, there is a decent spot around the corner where one can get an omelette.

clean and right in the city centre basic motel. Does not offer breakfast but there are two bars at 20m from it. Wi-fi, hot shower nice cozy balcony. a place where to rest peacefully in the city. The rooms in the backyard are more silent than those on the road because of the presence of a bar open till late night (that makes cheap and delicious sandwiches)

Very clean room with private bathroom. The owner was kind enough to mention that the rooms with a balcony were noisy due to the bar opposite. He offered us a lovely back room and we slept very well- did not hear anything!
