This was a beautiful part of the world to visit. It is a long way from anywhere in Jordan, but to see the rock formations, the writing from people from civilizations past, to watch the sunset and ride a camel made it all worthwhile. Staying...More

Whenw e stayed it was pretty cold, you need a warmish coat (Fleece or so). Mohammed gave us his mobile phone number, we called him when we arrived, he came to pick us up and we could park our car in his backyard in town. Then he took us by 4WD to the Campsite. From there they organize excursions by 4WD (by uncle Khaled) so you do NOT need to come by 4WD for sure.
