well located, friendly staff. The pool was clean and a good temperature. located near the Ramon crater. The room we stayed in has two tv, a mini fridge, and a microwave. The towels and sheets were replaced regularly.
We were not impressed with the accommodation here. We stayed in the family suite. The main bedroom in the family suite was tiny. We couldn’t use the cupboard at the same time as walking around the bed. The cupboard was also wobbly and the desk doors were broken, the bathroom was even tinier with nowhere to put our stuff. The mirror was to chest height only. There was nowhere at all to put wet clothes. No pegs for jackets. A set of 4 little hooks in the bathroom to hang towels and that’s it. The bathroom cabinet was broken and screwed shut. The toilet was tiny too. There was only one socket next to the bed for the light, so if you wanted to charge your phone, you couldn’t use the bedside light. Every time we wanted to use the pool (during their advertised hours) it was closed. A different excuse each time. The rooms were clean at least.…
One block from the crater promenade. Terrific breakfast, great, friendly service. Rooms 513 and 514 have delightful balconies and building 5 is the most modern with an elevator, so no dragging suitcases up stairs ! The roof in building 5 is a delight with a great view !
clean and plesent rooms with a big double bed. polite staf. Placed in a good and quiet neighborhood and free parking place. Near all the sites in Mizpe-to walk by foot. a roofed pool clean and open all day long but not big.
1. The sign says “we strictly observe ‘purple passport’ “. That COVID 19 purple passport should include wearing masks. No-one wears mask, no-one cares. 2. Zero accessibility. You must carry your luggage through endless steps either at reception or to/from rooms
We were so happy to discover the Ramon Suites Hotel. We went with our kids and two nieces and were seven people total, and we booked a Family Garden Suite plus a mini suite. The were pleasantly surprised with how spacious the suites were -- the Family Suites has a full refrigerator and microwave, sink, and is equipped with basics of plates, flatware, glasses, etc. It has a kitchen table with six chairs, two full bedrooms and a spacious common area with couches and two pullout beds. It is literally a 3 minute walk to the Ramon Crater, and several hikes that begin at that point. We loved waking up and just walking to the crater- no need to get back into the car. This same hotel chain has a newer hotel in Mitzpe Ramon, but it is not walking distance to the crater, and it is rooms, not suites, so we were happy to stay here even though the rooms are definitely old in style and wear. The staff was really friendly. We booked just days ahead and they were able to get us rooms right next to each other in the configuration that we wanted. Due to Corona the indoor pool is closed, but they still serve breakfast - it was converted to "grab and go." It was a well done breakfast (considering the limitations of Corona) including vegetables, omelet, cheese, cottage cheese, muffins, and a cappuccino machine where you help yourself. Shout out to the woman who staffing the kitchen when were were there (Danelle?) who was so nice and friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this simple, basic, but really friendly, convenient, well-located hotel to families, and I look forward to our family returning soon.…
Great location and pretty good value. Simple with different size rooms for different needs. Indoor heated pool when its not closed due to the Coronavirus restrictions. Simple but adequate food. Really recommend.
We reserved a room for 2 adults and 2 kids. When we arrive to the room the bed for the kids was not set. We were asked to open the sofa bed by ourselves and set it up. After we weren't able to open the sofa bed in our room we were asked to check if the sofa bed in another room is okay. In the new room the sofa door was okay, but one of the legs of the night stand fell and the door of a small closet also fell. Besides that, the bathtub was either rust or with mold on the corners and the maintenance level of the room was far less than expected when paying above 1000 NIS a night.
The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, bathrooms well equipped. The people at the front desk were great, especially Nitzan and Yasmin. The price was very reasonable and although the food wasn't fantastic, it was good and more than adequate. The location is excellent and you can walk easily to the edge of the Crater.
I stayed here as Tour Guide a few months ago and was happy with the service. Decided to go away as a family and say this is a very child friendly hotel. Organized in a professional way for Corona, but relaxed! Swimming of up to 10 people observed, and if it was busy you could book a time for later. The staff from Check in to the cleaners are all pleasant. The restaurant was also very well organized! Would certainly recommend!
