When doing the professional courses you need to stay in the accommodation on the school grounds. This is not the best but is satisfactory, big steps were being done to improve the standard of the rooms during my stay. Towels are provided, but please note there is quite a significant difference between the cleanliness of the dorm )room and bathroom) and the private room. There is a swimming pool however this is mainly for paying guests at the spa, students are allowed to use it but if any problems arise with the pool the school is not obliged to compensate. If staying in the accommodation on the school grounds 3 meals a day are included in your accommodation price, please take note that if you have any dietary requirements you are better to get your own food out from outside. There is a local market about 20 min drive from the school and there is mall about 15 min drive from the school, taxis are easy to get from reception.
Despite one or two issues with the accommodation and food for a few students my overall experience of Chetawan was one of the most memorable and the teaching and family atmosphere outweighed anything negative I have to say.
If you are wanting to study Thai Massage Chetawan is the school you must go to, the first Thai massage school in the world.
The staff looked after us very well, the food was good and the massages here are just wow!
Hopefully I’ll be back!
I will come back for the 5weeks course on November.
All teachers are very helpful and we had a lot of fun. For the exam we did hands on with Thai people that gave wonderful feedback.
Really recomend
You are greeted with sandals and an umbrella in case it's raining. The rooms are very pleasant, the site properly thought through to help you relax and the Thai massages are out of this world and about a 1/10th of what I pay in the states.
Food is healthy but rather basic and the coffee needs an upgrade.
Overall I loved it and hope to be back.
