The location and ambience was nice and staffs were friendly, The intercom was not working at the room, for everything i called them from my personal phone. The water was stagnant in the washbasin of the toilet. I think there was no pre checks done by the team before check-in. There were no tv remote placed in the room, I informed twice regarding the same but till check-out i didn’t got the tv remote. They food they served was average.
Hotel star Emirates is the one of the best resort in munnar, I enjoyed the ambients and the natural view from this spot so much, staffs are very frendly and cusine also fantastic. Overall the hospitality service is nice. This spot is very good for enjoy with our family and frends
I stayed for three nights at Hotel Star Emirates Munnar with my wife and kids. Our suite with a balcony overlooking the garden was superb in terms of the quality of amenities and space. The view of the mountains from the balcony were spectacular. The staff were very polite and accommodating at all times. Special thanks to the Manager - Shefeer, who accommodate the special food requests from my kids. He's their hero now. The kids play area (outdoor and indoor) is wonderful and has enough activities to keep kids occupied for a large part of the day. The swimming pool is very clean and well maintained, just like the garden and the all other areas of the hotel. The food is delicious. The hotel wasn't full during the time we stayed there. So we had a large part of the recreational areas to ourselves.…
The location of the hotel is amazing, we travelled by local taxi from Thekaddy to Munnar which took around two and a half hours to reach. The place is breath taking, has all sorts of amenities you would expect, starting from play grounds, gym, swimming pool, a proper restaurant. ayurvedic spas and at last a place with a great view from the balcony. We opted for Deluxe Room with Breakfast. Once you reach that area, you would definitely like to wander around in the entire property as it has its own scenic beauty, as it is surrounded with lush greeneries and hills, the atmosphere is extremely peaceful and the staffs were very super friendly. Yes, they even speak Hindi if you can not talk in their native languages and yes English too. You can enjoy playing badminton, some archery and even there is a separate playground for the kids where one can get see-saw, slides, swings and just the other half is complemented by the pool. When we visited, it seemed that the pool might not have been cleaned too frequently, but eventually I think it will be done properly as they are going through some crunch. What would you expect if you check-in to a 4-Star hotel? Free wifi, good food, good people which would complement a luxury service right? Well the wifi service was such a turn off, you need to provide your mobile number and can not surf net over 800mb! Hence some of the services were not up to the mark at all, which brings me to the next part that is the food. We were lucky to get to get one of the Premium Room with Breakfast, which occurred due to a cancellation from one of the customers. Everything was going well, but when it came to breakfast, the items were really limited. The only reason they could substantiate is that, they re-opened the hotel post COVID19 and it has been approx. 2 months hence for that reason, staff members and food variety items are extremely limited. We did not like that experience as the breakfast had only idli sambar and dhosa and the very next day, they served chole bature and puttu. Tea or coffee or any fruit juice were served in small paper cups which did not make sense at all. They claimed to be be a 4-Star hotel, which seems okay but if the service is toned down due to such reasons, they should have taken more time to re-open so that the services do not hamper and do not lead to destroying the image. But none the less the main course which were available was very good in terms of price to quantity ratio and they have all sorts of varieties. Taste-wise the food items were really good and lived up to our expectations. These are the following items we tried: - Chicken Roast - Chilly Fish - Egg Schezwan Fried rice - Mixed hakka noodles - Chappati and Butter chicken - Chilly chicken and chappati So, they need to pay keen attention to the minute of the minute things so that all the guests can have a pleasant experience. Otherwise the place is worth visiting and if you are someone who is looking for some ayurvedic treatments as well, this place will surely add an advantage to that.…
