Some of the best service I've ever had and I'm a dubai regular. All staff from cleaning team to the bar staff to the lifeguards were very helpful. Funny and friendly and go out of their way for you. Osama Ahmed in particular made the holiday for us, very knowledgable, surprised us with different cocktails everyday and was a grsat help.

Unbelievable service. Early check in late check out. The service admin Luca was there for all our needs ❤️and they arranged our tours and activities for excellent prices. Not that there was any reason to leave the pool. Tons of activities and entertainment for adults and children. The cleanliness is also 10 star. Our room was attended by Ahmed mahoumed. He was thorough and responsive. We highly recommend this hotel

Went to this hotel for a week and it is a great hotel. The food in the hotel is pretty good with it all cooked fresh every meal and many live cooking stations to choose from, probably not the best if you are a really fussy eater. If your British don't expect any form of breakfast fry up in the mornings. It's more suited to the European style of breakfast however there are doughnuts and pancakes which is a nice touch. After a few days it does become very samey and although it says there are loads of different restaurants here, it is more like just one big buffet which is all connected and apart from a few dishes each restaurant serves the same food and dessert which we were slightly disappointed about. The bars all serve typical all inclusive drinks made of the cheapest booze you can find however the beer is pretty nice and the bar staff are all extremely pleasant especially the guys at the beach bar who could not do enough for you and even made cocktails not on the list which were great. Shout out to wafy who always came and chatted to us and never left us alone with an empty glass. That is something this hotel does very well, all of the staff are very helpful and always smiling, we tipped all the people who were extra helpful as is the culture and they really deserve it. The entertainment is a little lacking for younger adults. We are both in our mid 20s and although the entertainment was good a lot of it was for the kids and it all stopped by 10pm and the place turned into a ghost town. Occasionally there was a bit of music playing to listen to while at the bars in the evening but we mainly had to go out if we wanted to have a decent late night. I get thst it is a family hotel as well but you'd think a couple.of nights a week they may have entertainment on till later. Pools There were many pools to choose from here of many varieties. We mainly stayed at the adult pool or if we wanted some music to listen to we went to the active pool where there were many activities to are part in and have a good time including volleyball, water aerobics, dancing etc. You do have to commend the entertainment team for their efforts as they always have a smile on their face, especially the few ladies even when they have some of the blokes making crude remarks and harassing them most of the day. The lifeguards were all great and have a laugh with everyone. The lifeguards at the adult pool were very quick to throw out any children wandering in to the deep pool no matter how much they or their family seemed to argue with him. The pier Now the pier Is what made this hotel amazing. It is a long walk but by god it is worth it. Normally during the mornings the very end of the pier/jetty was shut however the shallow areas halfway up are still full of reefs and some absolutely amazing fish, most days we ventured down to have a quick snorkel and always saw new types and we even managed to get close to both puffer fish and a blue spotted stingray in the shallows. In the afternoon when the end of the jetty is open the underwater view is even better. There's about 10m of coral reef before the whole reef drops off into an abyss and this is where the best fish seem to be. Its quite deep here so you will have to be able to swim but if you go to the hotel and don't go to the end you have very much missed out at something spectacular. Rooms Before coming we had heard of horror stories about poor rooms however we recommend emailing the hotel beforehand and asking for a refurbished room. Kur room was amazing with a large king size bed and then a separate single the bathroom was huge and there is even a mini fridge to keep all your liquids in. The house keeping staff are judt amazing. We stayed in room 342 and Mohammad always left some great towel art on the bed for us. Whenever we walked out of our room and saw him he was always polite and asking us how we are and whst we were doing. He made the room spotless every day and even got us cake for our anniversary which was such a great touch and made the stay thet much better. Overall i would definitely recommend this hotel for families and couples who judt want to relax. You won't find friendlier staff anywhere else and it does have grest facilities, however if you are a couple who wants more to do on the nightlife I would say probably a adult only hotel in sharm is better suited.…

Just returned from this hotel and all I can say is WOW! My Partner and I have visited Egypt on three other occasions and our latest visit was to be our last unless something special happened..... and the Royal Albatros Moderna delivered on every level. Yes, I will not lie there were a couple of issues, however, these were minor and did not affected our stay. You could possibly say I was being picky, to fussy but I feel that they need to be mentioned to aid others. From the moment of our arrival, which was late due to our flight timings, we were made to feel welcome. Firstly we were given our all-inclusive wristband and offered use of the late restaurant or to go and have a drink before check-in. We took advantage of this and it just finished a long day nicely. Once we had rested and the sun had risen, we strolled around the complex. Plenty of choice as to where to sunbath, with a variety of pools ranging from loud by the beach, to not so loud by the hotel, to quiet on the other side of the hotel. Children are very well catered for, having two pools with slides and water interactions. Also, a big plus is that the lifeguards prevent children, non-swimmers from entering water out of the depth. If you spend you time around the pools at the front of the hotel you will encounter the usual sellers, however, the quiet pool behind the hotel is a no go area for them. There is also an adults aquapark, which is a half hour well spent. Food is easily available. There are 6 different styles of buffet restaurants. All of which can be browsed and the food eaten within a different restaurant, so all appetites are catered for. Breakfast is 0730-1000 (one restaurant late breakfast until 1100), lunch 1230-1430, dinner 1830-2130. Make sure at dinner you go outside as food freshly cooked on grills, ovens etc. In addition, there is a beach grill from 1200-1700 serving snacks. Ice-cream can be found to at two locations at different times of the day and the Columbus coffee house is a must with cakes from 1500-1700. Finally, there is a a la carte restaurant too. This needs to be booked and be visited once a week, however, just go the once if staying for 2 weeks due to the choice in the buffet restaurants. Our preferred restaurant was the Tangine. Quieter than the other buffet restaurants. Our experience was made all the more special by our waiter, Mahmoud Hadad. He was ever present, trying to make our meal times as pleasurable and relaxing as possible. Assisting wherever he could, with a huge smile and smiley coffees. Bars are a plenty. All offering the full selection of drinks. These are open at different locates from 1000-0000. Wander around and you will find a place to suit. Best of all, everything is included. No extras for food or drinks! The staff are amazing. Always friendly, always remembering and always eager to help and assist. Nothing was too small, or too much of a problem. Now for the niggles. As previously said it may be me being too picky but everything is personal. Firstly, if you want a hotel with a good house reef this may not be suitable. The jetty over the lagoon is approximately 800m and if the wind is too strong you are able to access the water as located on a headland. Also, the snorkeling area fairly small due to the currents in the area. If like me you are diver, this may not the hotel for you. The dive centre/school is located at the opposite end of the beach to the jetty, so once you have your wetsuit on it is a long 10/15 minute walk to reach the end of the jetty. Also, there is a lot of hanging around. A shore dive took almost 3 hours! The centre are more eager to get you to book a boat trip than dive their reef. Do you research before arrival. Secondly, if you like us, you have a late flight, you are unable to try and arrange a late check out until 1000 of the morning of departure. If successful, it is a cost 50 Euro, and the room can be kept until 1700 instead of 1200. However, full use of hotel amenities are available until you leave. …

Wow, what a holiday! The resort is beautiful, immaculately kept, both rooms and grounds, and the staff...from the moment we arrived at reception (late due to a delayed flight) we were greeted with the most friendliest of welcomes, polite, professional and most efficient. Our room was beautiful with all amenities met and the pools/beach excellent. Special shout out for exceptional service from Muhammad Hadad in the Tagine Restuarant who made sure all our needs were met and always with smile, Osama and Wafy Hussain at the Beach Bar, again, excellent service, really friendly and made our stay! Also, the fantastic service offered by the Dive Centre on site (Blue Planet Dive Centre), special thanks for the utmost professionalism, confidence-building and encouragement of Ahmed And Meena, without whom, I wouldn't have successfully passed my open water, also Abdullah, for ensuring all equipment was available and checked to reassure me in the water. Have just returned from a weeks stay . This was our first time to Egypt . The hotel is split into two . One side which has all the dining restaurants and bedrooms. The other side is the reception, hotel bedrooms and where you will find all the main pools and entertainment. The hotel itself is very well kept and constantly being cleaned . Can not fault the restaurant staff and bar tenders . Always on hand to replenish your drinks , even the life guards on the jetty went the extra mile . Took myself and husband snorkelling. Our room was cleaned every day even had a plate of fruit popped in. The only negative thing I would say about the hotel were the reception staff. Not as welcoming as the rest of the hotel staff . Once checked in we were handed a piece of paper and sent on our way. If it wasn’t for the porter we wouldn’t have known where the restaurants were and how to get to the beach . We requested to have a late check out , we were sent to the cashier who we paid . So we went on our way . Returned to room later to find we couldn’t get in . Walked back to reception and spoke with the cashier saying we couldn’t get into the room.He then said we had to speak to reception to get our key activated until 5pm. So why didn’t he inform us when paying the extra fee this is what we had to do .Again lack of information from reception staff. We would visit hotel again . …
