After 2 years of cancellations due to Covid we finally enjoyed a visit to Rixos Sharm El Sheikh from 04/09/22 to 18/09/22, we were in rooms 10201 and 10203. Our last visit to this hotel was in 2015. If I had to nit pick it would be about the time it took to get drinks in the piano bar, on our last visit the bar service was amazing and you never had to ask for a drink, on this visit the service was a lot slower. Also the entertainment was not as good as previously, there was no variety and not very adult based, however the muskat party band were very good. I can’t fault anything else though as the food was amazing, we especially loved the Indian which was absolutely fantastic and we loved the fact that the manager and chef took the time to chat with us, just brilliant. We also loved the Mangal restaurant, service and food was amazing. The Asian restaurant was also superb and the Brazilian was great. Slightly disappointed with the Italian and Turkish as the menus hadn’t changed since our last visit but the food was still lovely. Would like to thank Mido Nasr for looking after us so fabulously, he is absolutely fantastic and goes well above and beyond to make your stay as perfect as it can be. Our room cleaner Mohammed Darwish was also brilliant it was just a pity that building work was ongoing in the next block as our balcony and furniture was constantly covered in dust. My only other minor complaint was that previously tea and coffee at breakfast was served via tea and coffee pots which were constantly topped up. I presume this had changed due to covid but I felt the service of drinks in the restaurant at breakfast was not as good. We either got black tea or coffee or very milky tea or coffee, there was only one waiter who understood white tea and coffee with little milk but as I say I am nit picking. We spent most of our time at the pool opposite block 16 and the pool boys/lifeguards Hamad Habaka and Ashraf Salem really looked after us and kept the pool very clean which we absolutely loved. We visited Rixos Seagate on a couple of occasions, visiting the water park which was really good, however this hotel was not for us as far too noisy and the Rixos at Sharm was much quieter and a more relaxed atmosphere which suited us perfectly. We hope we can afford to return next year as we had the most amazing holiday. If we are able to return next year we would like to stay in the rooms that were being renovated in block 16 as they looked really nice after the renovations.

Hotel's Favourite
Sorry for the delay. I find a review is so final and I didn’t really want it to end. We chose this hotel as it is adults only and whilst we were raking our kids the youngest is 16 and they are not rowdy kids. They wanted a quiet chill out as much as us. I have to say the staff are all lovely and I mean all of them the cleaners, gardeners, waiters, barmen chefs life guards and pool boys. And they’ll do anything for you. I know it’s all inclusive and 5 star but I’m British so not used to being waited on hand and foot although I’m sure I could get used to it. Whilst lying by the pool we were served food, drinks iced towels ice lollies cocktails and even had our sunglasses cleaned for us. Mohamed cleaned our room and made sure we were happy and had everything we wanted everyday always smiling and friendly and leaving us towel animals. Keno but the pool made the best iced coffee’s and I may have had a few too many but who was counting. Botros or Skater boy/ skates as we called him flies round the pool on in-line skates and makes it look so easy. The a la carte’s were all fabulous and when we returned 2-7 days later the staff remember us our room number our good and drink orders from the previous visit. I don’t know how but it makes you feel very special. The buffet whilst well stocked provides more closely I felt to European travellers than English but we always managed to find something to eat. Better signage identifying the foods and against the right foods would be helpful. The a la carte booking system is very easy and you can link rooms if necessary. Just don’t do what we did and try and book from both rooms and link. Just do it from 1 room and then add the other when it asks we did this on our phones and at the screen by the main buffet restaurant but if you get stuck reception were very helpful. Don’t think that Lalezar is couples only the over view says romantic and it is lovely but the description should read gorgeous Turkish cuisine. The kebabs and lamb chops in here are to die for. And the bread they prepare in front if you is delicious. Many if the guys working by the pool or breakfast were then serving in the a la cartes they work really hard and are just adorable. 1 day we hired a beach cabana with hot tub and when we returned to the pool the following day they had noticed we hadn’t been around the day before - how nice is that ? Lunch by the pool or in the beach front restaurant SALT are both really good. Mohamed, Ahmed, Ahmad, keno, botros and many many more all made us feel really welcome and if we get the chance we will return here. This was our 3rd visit to sharm el sheikh but our first to this hotel. The rooms were comfortable spacious and always clean.

Disgusting laundry service! I ruined an expensive new thing! I handed over a new thing for washing, as a result, they returned it far from the form that it was originally. And shrugged at my indignation.

We are in love with this hotel and can’t get enough of it. Anytime we want to try new hotels in Sharm, we can’t go to any hotel other than Rixos. This hotel gives you warm welcome the minute you walk in, there are lots of smiles and great hospitality that awaits you there, not to mention endless entertainment and various ways of pampering. Every day there is something new and creative in the hotel, even the decorations everywhere are so lovely and creative. I want to thank every staff member I encountered because everyone was lovely, smiling and wants to make sure you are happy, satisfied and having a great time. I want to give special thanks to the following because these people truly made our vacation even more special: - Ibrahim Saber & Ahmed Maher (from the Palm Restaurant). These guys are amazing. I can’t thank them enough for their warm welcome every time we go to the main restaurant. They make it feel like home!! They always greet us with smiles and always, always make sure we are happy and satisfied, and they never let us feel like anything is missing. Thank you for being excellent in your jobs and for always looking out for us. - chef Khaled Barakat (from the Palm restaurant) not only does he make the BEST waffles ever (also pancakes), but he makes sure you are getting everything you want and more, and will help you in anything you need. He made us special waffles every morning, and we can’t thank him enough for spoiling us and making us happy like that. He smiley and joyful spirit is contagious. - Ibrahim Ahmed (room cleaning in building 4 - 1st floor), he is excellent and very sweet!!! Everything is so clean and organized. And not only did he remember us from last time but he remembered everything we asked for, and does everything as we like. - Chef Hassan Abdel Wahab (at the Palm restaurant), no one makes pies like he does, especially the feteer with sugar. He really spoiled us in the best way. He is excellent, and not to mention so funny and so kind. - the golf car drivers Alaa, Ramy Romeo, Soliman, Abu Ali, Ahmed hamdy (fons) and Hossam. They way they greet us, always checking if we need anything, never late to pick us up when we need a good car and just so helpful, kind and warm. They work in such hot weather but you never see them complain. They are always smiling and ready to help you in anyway just to make sure you are comfortable -I was so happy to see more female waiters working in the hotel and they are so sweet and very helpful. Special thanks to Sama Samy and Shaimaa Ali (in the Palm Restuarnt) and Yasmine (at the beach bar). Best of luck, ladies! We rule the world ;) - Chef. Salah Hosni, Mohamed Abd Allah, Ibrahim Zian, Abu Rohya (chef Rida) and Mahmoud Abd El Fattah and Mahmoud Ahmed (shiko) all from The Palm restaurant and all are very excellent chefs who make great food and always smiling and have time for the guest and look after what they want. I want to also thank the Chef who makes the eggs in the morning but sadly I didn’t get his name. - Amir Khalid & Yousef Mohamed (from the Palm restaurant) and Rizk (from the detox bar) were so helpful and attentive. - Amir Abd El Wahab (cleaning at the palm restaurant) is so smiley and does his job so well. - Ahmed and Katrina at the Spa reception are extremely helpful, and Kai, Joellen and Mali are excellent therapists. So you can see why I love this place, it’s people and the whole atmosphere there and never want to go elsewhere :) never change, Rixos! <3

Loved loved Rixos Sharm el Sheik! Here is our low down: Pros: The staff go above and beyond to make every part of your visit a pleasant experience and the management is on deck looking for feedback. Our first couple moments were less than great but then everything was spectacular. Upon arrival we were seated and our bags held and brought to our rooms while we check in. We were met with welcome drinks ready and a smooth and quick check in. The rooms are remodeled tastefully and spacious, the beds are comfortable and big. The bathrooms are huge, they could have installed bigger showers and tubs with that amount of space but hey what they have is good too! Food: The food is good in the buffet but the dinner a la carte restaurants were our favorite, particularly the Taj Mahal (Indian food) and the Churrasqueria (Brazilian) we did the seafood one too (Salt) and it was good but the others were better. They had more options but we only did those 3. The Spa: Our group had some lovely massages at the spa and the reception team was so kind and worked with us so we could get what we needed before leaving. The spa area needs remodeling as things are a little old but it’s still super pretty. The scrub I think was my favorite part as the scrub is like salt and an oil, my skin felt like butter! The only recommendation is the massage was done with a lotion not an oil, so my skin felt dry and not really hydrated after. The bathroom in the spa should also have shampoo, conditioner and body wash like the rooms do. Oktoberfest; they did this super cute Oktoberfest celebration that was SO much fun and they brought a couple secret beers and pretzel and they did their version of sausages in kofta and chicken and it was SO good!!!!! *** Major Plus*** also very worthy of mentioning was the courtesy of the resort to allow us to check out but then stay on the premise and continue our all inclusive experience until our flight at 9pm Con but also a pro??: There is NO beach, the “beach” is sand but goes straight into coral: it’s amazing because there is wild life right there with out needing to snorkel or dive. The con is there no calm water to wade in or water to walk in, so if you aren’t a strong swimmer it’s just pool time for you. They have a deck that goes out about 50/75 feet to where the coral drops off and you can swim and snorkel there but because it’s super deep its not restful swimming. Con: Night Entertainment: The entertainment is tailored to this new concept of adult only; so it’s adult shows and a DJ, it’s repetitive and really ordinary in their use of barely dressed women shaking their butt and breasts on stage. So distasteful for an expensive chain but I guess it’s what people like??? The DJ also only did techno, again catering to the majority of the crowd that is European, so there’s not really opportunity for dancing… for an American audience this wouldn’t work, a night full of techno is boring. Alcoholic Beverages: The drinks are watered down. Please get bar tending staff a class. We asked for simple drinks (mimosa and they didn’t know what we were asking; my husband asked for a Manhattan and no, and I asked for a apple martini and no) these are easy simple drinks on any menu and not difficult at all. With a British couple we also joked we would request drinks and the staff would smile and then hand us what ever they made and it was a surprise every time. A couple times we got what we asked for but more often we did not. Language Barriers: The staff was very helpful and they knew every other language well but their grasp on English was a little rough. Sometimes they acted like they knew what we were saying but we quickly saw they didn’t :/ it would be lovely for management to provide English classes for the staff and invest in their team in this way. This way they could interact wholly with clients Other than Russians and Germans. Airport transfer: 90$ car from airport to site which is a 10 min drive???? Whattttt????

To all the staff at the Hotel - Thank you for making our stay very special! The Rixos hotel adults only in Sharm El - Sheikh is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The reception is very welcoming with cool drinks and friendly atmosphere. The rooms are very nicely decorated with good air conditioning and large TV. Nice large bathroom with a good quality shower and all other accessories. Our room was meticulously cleaned by Hamy Riz K and Mohamed Abdelad, who could not do enough to make our stay special. I mentioned them by name because they work tirelessly. There are several different restaurants, and they all serve an excellent range of quality foods. I looked forward to every meal and all the staff who work in these are so good. You do not even have to walk far there are buggies every 15 mins to take you round the complex. A great service! I found the whole experience brilliant - All the staff really do all they can to make you feel welcomed and look after you so well - I wish to thank them ALL and will return A.S.A.P. James Bircumshaw

Just coming to the end of a week here and what an outstanding week it has been. There has not been one aspect of this hotel that I would change. We spent our days around the oasis relaxing pool where the pool is heated and the drinks are delivered on roller skates. Evenings you are spoilt for restaurant choice and no restrictions on the a la cartes so you get 7 visits for a 7 night stay, that can be used all in one or across all of them. The food everywhere is exceptional. Branded drinks are as standard. There is just so much to do. As regular visitors to Premier Le Reve in Hurghada we were concerned this wouldn’t compare but in all honesty it is better! We will definitely be back!

Another fantastic visit to Rixos Sharm, this was our 3rd Visit this year after coming in March & May. Again everything was perfect , all the staff around the Lagoon pool are very attentive. Al a cartes as good as ever especially the Indian restaurant. Room cleaners in block 3 are great and we have had the same room on two occasions. The best barman at any resort we have ever been to is Mohammed from the beach bar. He has looked after us so we’ll on all 3 visits , nothing is ever a problem for him. We are returning in November with friends and cannot wait.

We found the hotel brilliant, we stayed in block 14 which was a great location and spent most of our time around the lagoon pool. Mohammed Ahmed and his team were super and couldn’t do enough. Ibrahim served us for the holiday around the pool and was simply a star! Only down side was the service received from the reception staff but the bar staff made up for what they lacked.
