This is a simple, no frills hotel. Very clean. Great location but a little challenging to find, if dropped off by vehicle. You will have to navigate narrow, crowded cobblestone alleys while hauling luggage. But this is the same for most hotels in the Old City. The manager is very accomodating. I would staf there again.

Trogir is a superb place to visit and staying at this hotel made it even nicer. Although small, the hotel oozes charm. The room was tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable.(The church bells are a bit noisy but add to the character!)

As everyone has already mentioned the hotel proprietors were incredibly helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The decor was excellent (especially the curtains!) the breakfast first class and we will certianly stay there again. Thoroughly recommended in every sense.

This hotel is by far the best hotel in Trogir. The place is newly renovated, clean, and comfortable. The location is right in the center of Trogir. The owner is extremely friendly and was helpful with everything from getting a ferry to nearby islands to arranging our 4am airport transfer. They even arranged for a packed breakfast for us to take to the airport! If you go to Trogir there is no other way to enjoy your holiday than to stay at Villa st. petar.

We just came back home from a relaxing one week holiday in beautiful Trogir. One of the reasons it was such a lovely week, was our stay in Villa Sv Petar.

We booked our stay by e-mail in January and there were no problems with our booking on arrival. The owners have got very good communication skills and respect the agreements made several months before.

The rooms are clean and nicely styled, furniture and bathroom are brandnew. The central location of the hotel is excellent.

The different options you're offered for breakfast and the free choice you can make, should satisfy anybody's needs. A breakfast for a very early flight or bustrip is prepared and served without any problem ... just top class in service !

The owners are very friendly and attentive and you can get from them the best tips for travelling around, visits, eating out, sailing, whatever ... just ask the owners and they will give you an reliable answer.
For example, when we wanted to sail to Hvar they checked the internet for timetables and routes of ferries and busses and even prepared a complete schedule you just have to take with you. Everything is done on their own proposal, you don't even have to ask, they just deliver it. Amazing !

I defenitely will book this hotel again when I go back to Croatia in 2008. Not only because of the central location or the general quality of the hotel's infrastructure, but most of all for the hospitality and friendliness of both owners.

Other hotel staff around the world should visit this small family runned hotel so they could learn again the basics of customer's service or reevaluate their actual " skills and standards " again.
Villa Sv Petar in Trogir is the reference !

Villa Sv. Petar was just opened in 2005 by the most darling brother-sister management duo you will ever find .... the hotel itself is great: new, modern, and comfortable - but that brother sister-team makes this place is a must-stay!!! I just feel in love with them and honestly wanted to hug them when we had to leave! They are SO very welcoming, friendly and helpful - such great ambassadors for Trogir and all of Croatia - going above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you enjoy your stay. (Trogir is a sparkling little gem of a town too I might add - it's quiet and small, but so magical and worth a visit).

Stone house located in an alley, in the historic center of the island of Trogir.
We got there and found a room without any reservation, but it has to be mentioned that it was the month of June.
The lady at the reception was extremely kind, warm, professional and efficient, as well as generous with advices about Trogir, its beauties, and some good restaurants.
We got room no.1 at the first floor; it was very clean, with a beautiful, wide and comfortable bed. The bathroom was immaculate and well equipped.
The only defect was a lateral room window, not provided with the shutter, which means a disturbing light entering the room very early in the morning, creating some nuisance. I recommend the owner to take care of that.
Despite that, the sleep was quiet and comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent, offering ham, salami, cheese, sweets, jams, coffee, tea, milk, orange juice; a very nice and energetic way to start the day.
The rate for the room was in my opinion honest.
One recommendation: whether you’re going to Trogir by car, keep in mind that the hotel offers the opportunity to leave the car in the parks outside the island free-of-charge; therefore, once you arrive, pay the parking for one hour only, then go to the hotel and collect the card for free parking, to be presented to the park guy.
We made a mistake, by paying right away the full amount for a whole day, and the guy at the parking refused to give us any money back, against the hotel card.

The brother and sister tandem of Misa and Ana Marie run a great new hotel in the heart of Trogir's old town. It has 4 comfortable rooms with very good AC which helped me during the early September heatwave. Lots of good info and recommendations from the managers. If you are looking for transfers or guides or any type of travel service, they can help you out - just ask.

I guess you mean Villa Sv.Petar, not Qatar! No cars are allowed in Old Trogir which is on an island, albeit only a few metres from the mainland. The people I was staying with parked for free in a supermarket car park (which was allowed apparently) although it was about a mile away (20 minutes walk). There may be nearer and better options, but I do not know about them.
