Detailed Reviews
This is a wonderful hotel in a fabulous location. It is right opposite the beach and within very easy reach of the centre of Bol and the famous Zlatni Rat beach. It is very clean with a modern, laid back, mid century design style. The food is very good with a wide selection at breakfast and dinner, both buffet style. Drinks are extra. Staff are polite and efficient. Unlike other hotels we’ve stayed in recently, there is no mad rush for sun beds in the morning - no towels down at dawn! There is plenty of space around the pool and in front of the bar. Guests are mostly casually dressed and this adds to the relaxing feel. However, do check before you book that there are no large conference parties arriving. The end of our stay was less good than the beginning as hoards of young lawyers arrived. This turned the large dining room into bedlam! It was hard to find tables, hectic and very noisy. Also, they partied on their balconies way into the night which made a quiet hotel far less peaceful. Having said that, the staff coped brilliantly. A minor niggle, but it would put me off staying again if guest numbers were at this level. Dinner is only 7pm to 9pm. It could do with being a bit longer as things start to get cleared away about 8.30pm. It would also be nice if there was more outdoor seating as on warm days, tables get used up very quickly.

What a gem this hotel is, I had such a relaxing 5 day here. Rooms are renovated recently, so they are clean, modern and beautiful. I had room B006 with a seaview, although it was not direct to the ocean (there are pinetrees) I really like it, it was more private since the beach boulevard goes between hotel and the beach.
Pool area is nice, I like that the pool was clean water instead of ocean water. Location is also perfect, between walking distance to town center and zlatni rat beach. If you want spa treatments, other activities etc, the other bluesun resort is in the neighborhood and water sports right down the beach.
Continental breakfast buffet was delicious, really good quality of products and different kind of eggs (omelet station!) is always a plus.
Extra mentions to the housekeeping, room was cleaned every day to perfection.

We recently stayed at the Bluesun Hotel Borak for 4 nights and would highly recommend this hotel. It has recently been refurbished and all the rooms are modern, stylish, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was no tea making facilities in the room so bring your own kettle, but there was a fridge in the room. We booked a sea view room but most of the view is obscured by the glades of pine trees around the hotel. It wasn't a problem for us as we still had a nice view over the swimming pool, better than overlooking the car park.
There is a good selection of food to suit all tastes but they do start clearing away early, so make sure you don't leave it too late for breakfast or dinner. There's no decent coffee at breakfast, so suggest bringing your own if you like good coffee.
All the staff from reception to restaurant and cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is ideally placed just outside Bol, with an easy walk into town. There is a beach within 50m of the hotel. car parking is extra at 8 Euros a day.
We went in September and although the hotel was busy, it wasn't the height of the summer season. We really enjoyed our stay, and considering its only a 3* hotel, it is to a very good standard and great value for money.

We had a fabulous week in Bol. The hotel is very comfortable and modern with lovely renovated rooms, ours had a nice view of the pool and sea beyond. We enjoyed walking along the tree lined path into Bol which is pretty and has a good selection of restaurants and cafes. You can catch various ferries from there or a local bus/coach to Supetar which we did. It is 6 euros one way but only 6.6 euros return and you can pay on the bus. Supetar is small but has a very pretty harbour and a small beach.
It is also nice to walk to Zlatni Rat beach where there are water sports and cafes but it is a stony beach and was very busy.
The food at Hotel Borak was delicious! A great selection every night and we enjoyed it very much, especially the Croatian night with singers. We were glad we chose half board.
We loved it and will certainly go back.

My partner and I have just spent a week at this hotel and have nothing but good things to say about it. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The room was perfect for what we needed. There’s a small gym on site. The pool area is well maintained (although the pool was very cold!). The food at breakfast and dinner was of a very high standard with plenty of choice for everyone.
The location is perfect. It’s half way between Zlatni Rat beach and Bol Centre (Harbour).
The beach is a minute walk away from the hotel and there are many beach options along the front. There is even an easy access beach for those with mobility issues which has a seat to lower people into the sea.
Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be visiting again in the future.

The hotel is freshly renovated and very pleasant. Not too big, so guests feel like they are getting a personalised welcome and treatment. Actually, among the many strong points of this hotel (pool, proximity to the sea, location close to the famous zlatni rat beach) the strongest for us has been by far the professionalism, friendliness and outstanding support of its staff. From Dominik at the reception, to Mery at the restaurant, to Karlo and Luca in the kitchen (and we are forgetting many more), we have fond and great memories of all those whom we met in the hotel. We will surely be back!

I really enjoyed our relaxing stay here! The hotel was very modern, clean. And staff were so so friendly! We did have ants in our room but the team were on it straight away to solve it. The rooms were very comfy and modern. Only thing I would say is that there are a lot of lights in the room and coming in from outside, even with the curtains shut, so I did struggle to sleep properly without my eye mask. The air con is quite loud too so ended up turning it off. But overall, 10/10 for staff and welcoming. Breakfast was average, the omelette man was the best part. Other elements weren’t as good and could do with proper tea bags and a coffee machine. Overall though, beautiful stay, beautiful pool, friendly staff and I love the fact that it’s a very short walk to a beautiful beach! Thank you!

Great location close to the main beach and restaurants. Beautiful shaded promenade to walk along. The fresh water pool was delightful and the service was very friendly. Clean rooms, newly renovated. The breakfast was pretty standard, would have enjoyed more coffee/tea options (espresso, English tea, etc.) The convenience of the included breakfast was nice.

I was very excited to come and stay at the hotel because of the location and everything it had to offer. However, perhaps my expectations were too high... upon arrival, the front desk was cordial but not very friendly. They saw us struggling to carry our luggage up a set of 10 staircases and didn't offer assistance - our taxi drivers were more helpful than they were. Upon arriving to our ocean view room, I went to shower and when grabbing a towel there were black stains throughout the towel making it look dirty. When I asked the front desk for additional towels they nearly huffed at me until I said there was a dirty one in the room. The outlet in the bathroom was coming out of its socket, it seems dangerous to leave electrical wires exposed like that in bathroom? Also was scary and hard to use. There were other things to my dismay but I rather not list it. The hotel wasn't horrible. However, the accumulation of these instances plus others that aren't commented on made the experience as a whole not very comfortable or enjoyable.

Spent a week at Borak on HB with husband and teenage son. Hotel is impeccable, it seems it was recently renovated with modern decor. It has a small gym and a dive centre on site.
The beach is at 1 minute from the hotel reception with excellent access to a tree-shaded lovely promenade. The beach is stunning, the USP is the hill that ends at the turquoise-water pebble beach via a forested transition.
The staff at the hotel is incredibly helpful and kind. One cannot get a better service!
One area for improvement: smoking is allowed at the pool and outdoor restaurant. That is a nuisance for non-smokers.
In brief, lovely resort with excellent service, good and varied buffet and facilities. Will consider coming back!

I think it might look to the side, I would ring contact the hotel and check.
Yes, they do.
If your flying to split airport i would get a bus from the airport to the ferry port then take the ferry to Supetar, then get a bus from Supetar to Bol. It’s much cheaper.
