I spent 2 weeks in Bol apartment, proprietary of family Alpeza. From the beginning of my vacation till the end, I experienced great service, apartment was modern, very clean and well-equipped with all neccessarry accessories and even more. Wi-Fi service was free of charge. Whatever I needed, I found - from the hairdryer, water heater, extra towels, mosquito defenders...

I would like to use this opportunity to thank Alpeza family for the warm welcome. They were always available for any extra needs from my side. I promise I'll be back next year for sure!

We have been there for 10 days to enjoy Bol sea and beaches.
The apt was clean and comfortable for us, our 2 kids and their grandma. It has big wardrobes for clothes and a kitchen to cook own food.
It is pleasantly quiet as it is not close to pubs and discos which actually work the whole night.
Martina is a very nice host always prompt to respond to all our needs.
She also gave us a bottle of her father's wine which is indeed very good.
A little market, Tommy, is close. The sea is just 200 m down the hill.
Highly recommended for families.
We'll sure get back there if ever in Bol again

Alpeza apartments are just great for families with small kids, everything is very close, apartments are very clean and really excellent equipped with all necessary things in kitchen. The host was very helpful on the phone and we called her several times to find out where to go out to eat and other things. Host Martina and her father give us so warm welcome and they were available for all our needs. The apartment is great, very clean, which was for me as mom very important and after few days you get extra towels which was really great. WI-FI worked perfectly which was also important for us (specially my husband). Bol is just perfect for kids, because you can do everything by foot or with bikes, but the parking is included if you come by car.
I would recommend this apartment without thinking:

We was unlucky to take a last room instead of some apartments because they were full in august. But room they have rent us for two was so mall that it should not be rented at all.
It was clean and with new furniture but there was no place to append your towel for drying after beach, something incredible for a place where everyone come for swimming.
Also the building is one of too many similar tourist traps in neighborhood. Instead of small fisherman's village it was modern suburb with cars parked everywhere and far away from old center and from beaches.
We was surprised that they asked money in advance, it is not practice in Croatia and we believe that it was just to avoid that we change a place, so overall it was our worst experience in Croatia ever.
Luckily sea is wonderful and there is always some chilling wind to be able to enjoy and relax.

We stayed in the penthouse apartment at the start of June. The building is very new and on the plus side, Martina was very helpful on the phone and her father offered to pick us up from the bus station. The apartment was clean and modern and there was a great view over the town and sea from the balcony (see photo). The wifi was free and easy to access. The problem for us was that the apartment was extremely ill-equipped. There were none of the things that would have made our stay more enjoyable and easy. We had to ask for coat hangers, which, to be fair, were brought immediately by M's dad. There was no kettle of any kind so we had to use a big pan which could easily have scalded us. There was no toaster, grill, hairdryer, soap, pegs for the dryer outside, and a microwave would have been useful. There was no storage space in the master bedroom, though there would have been room for a chest of drawers. There is a wardrobe in the communal area and the small bedroom did have cupboards, but they were so far under the eaves I could hardly access them. I could have done with a bedside lamp and one bed didn't even have a bedside table. So basically, although the apartment was superficially very attractive, there had been less thought for the ease and comfort of guests then there had been in other apartments we stayed in during the holiday. There was no information provided, either, about the appt or the area and we had to contact Martina again to find out how to heat the water. The apartment would definitely be very good if these shortcomings were rectified. The hill to it is steep but quite short and it is well located for Zlatni Rat beach.

The building is fairly new and the apartment was really very clean. We took the flat before high season so it was excellent value for money. Big enough for two, free wifi included. Well located, Zlatni rat beach is a good 20 min walk, grocery store (studenac) 10-15 min, reaching the harbour with restaurants also needs only a 15 min walk. The rooms were cool almost all day, you don't need to operate the air conditioner constantly. Goran our contact person was also helpful during our stay.

Cons: shower cabin could have been bigger, having a shower was bit difficult for an adult. Bit noisy because of its location.

Anyway highly recommended.

I was afraid that appartment will look tired and slightly dirty, i wasnt sure in standard of cleaning cause i have never stayed in appartments before.

We were 2 in room A2+2 and the appartment is fantastic: sterile clean, spacious (for 2 at least), with small kitchen (we didnt cook, but its nice to have all variety of glasses and plates, to wash it in the kitchen sink and to have ability to put even one bottleof juice in normal fridge, what hotel unfortunately can't offer). The balcony is nice and big, look as a small terrace. The bed is ok (at least was better than in 4* hotel we stayed after).

Only one tiny inconvenience: appartment is on the 5 floor (no elevator) and under sloping roof, so be careful with the head.

Appartment is 5 min walk to main street and 15 min to Zlatni rat beach.

We had a pleasant 1-week stay at Bol and all went as expected.

My emailing/texting with owner Martina was easy (initially I talked to Tamara, owner of Zlatni Bol Apts), I transfered pre-payment.

We had #8 appt (2nd floor) with 1 separate bedroom and living room/kitchenette. It is OK equipped if you plan to cook. Our terrace overlooked a panorama of Bol residence area and up to mountains/sea.
It is not very quiet area (you cannot really sleep with opened windows, but you can use air-con) and easy to walk to the city center (I d say 10-12 mins walk) and Zlatni Rat promenade (less than 10 mins walk). Wifi was so-so.

We had own wheels, so we used a parking space.
Tommy supermarket is less than 5 mins walk as well as Restaurant Ranč (highly recommended) and pizzeria Navis (2 mins walk).

Re beaches: we travelled by car to a few, having a fav one at Murvica (you d need own wheels).
