It was a lovely stay, the room was clean, staff were amazing. First thing I loved about it is that you can speak with them through WhatsApp which save tons of money on calls, the receptionists were wonderful and helpful. The food were amazing, the staff at the restaurant went above and beyond. My husband wanted to order my favourite drink which they never had on menu, they did research and managed to prepare it for me. Both my husband and I were delighted. Since then, I have been recommending the hotel to all my friends and family. Definitely will come back!

Location is great. Adrianopolis, next to the malls, restaurants etc. Other than that the hotel needs a lot of improvements. Service is also below what you'd desire. Breakfast is very limited in terms of options and service.

Overall I am only giving 5 stars because I guess it must be hard to keep a good strandart within those level of humidity.
But just to comment, it was a drop of water in the main reception with a bucket to collect water for about 3 days I stayed here, the breakfast was OK, and the last day no hot water.
Thanks God the quality of the bed, and the bed sheet was amazing.
I am a big fan of Mercure. The best Mercure? Not really, but again, considering the difficulties it was OK. Staff friendly too

Bugs on the breakfast food. Ugly red bug crawling on my bed. No English captions or English voice-over was available on any of the TVs in any of the rooms in the entire hotel. "It's not possible," the front desk's receptionist informed me. Only CNN in English. No vegetarian options on the restaurant menu. Took a while to translate I wanted pasta with no meat and it was tasteless. I had to change rooms because of the bug. No hand soap or lotion in the bathrooms until you ask. 1 scratchy hand dry towel and 1 scratchy body towel in bathroom. Dogs barking outside both rooms I got. On my last night, I had to ask the front desk receptionist three times to quiet down the kids in the room next to me. Slow service. More issues but that's enough. Terrible experience overall.

Probably the best 4 stars hotel in Manaus.
Way better than the Intercity Hotel. The rooms are clean and so is the swimming pool. The views are not as nice as other hotels in the city but definitely not bad.
Would definitely come back if I am ever in Manaus.

You know what you are getting with the Mercure.. rated it 3 as room was run down, gym was quite dirty.. positives friendly and efficient staff, great breakfast, good location for business.. not sure of other options in the city but would stay there again

Hotel is a bit old and run down. I don't know if it was because of its age but the rooms especially the bathroom didn't feel clean. Staff at the front desk, bar and restaurant were great. Good service!
Good breakfast, as well as, lunch and dinners. Not that expensive either, I have seen way worse.
Rooms had wired internet (cable provided) as well as wireless in every floor. Couldn't connect to wireless though.
Good location felt safe walking around even at night!

I have stayed in Manaus many times and have stayed in several different hotels. This is my new favorite based on price, location and room condition. The staff was easy, there is a restaurant in the lobby that was very nice and you are close to a very large mall and Carfoure that you can walk to for easy shopping.

Two stays in February 2019, two nights each stay, RM 1102 & 1003. Both rooms similar. Quiet, limited street noise, clean, everything worked as expected, room safe, air con, plenty of hot water, free storage of my luggage for 10 days, above average breakfast, small bar in lobby, receptionists all spoke some English, roof top pool, hot tub inoperative, small gym, two blocks from very nice, modern four level shopping mall with food court & restaurants, safe neighborhood. It’s a basic hotel, not fancy. Good value for the money.
Only negative: Hall lighting is on motion detectors. When I stepped out of elevator on 11th floor, everything is dark until I waved my arms around to trigger the motion detectors. Also seems to be some unfinished construction work on both 10th & 11th floors. When I exited the elevators (in darkness) then the lights do come on, I was faced with plywood walls & wires. Floors were fine, but kind of an unusual experience.
Yes I would return. Good value. Good location reference shopping mall.
