We stayed there for a night before flew back to home country. Staff was responsive in replying email. Waited for us at the airport. Concierge was ready to help us bring our luggage into hotel, attentive gentleman. Noticed it was late, asking us whether we need dinner. Room was clean, neat and well equipped. We were satisfied with our room.

Had a excellent stay at this fantastic hotel. Centrally located so easy to get around to the shopping areas, museum fish market etc all the sites. As for the hotel the staff are extremely polite and helpful creating a relaxing stay after a long flight. Are room was lovely too and the bed very comfortable. The room is large and airy. There's a mini fridge, selection of teas and coffee. We were made to feel very at home. Breakfast had a good selection too and everywhere was was very clean. We enjoyed our stay so would like thank you all.

Situated in the heart of Male and access to beach, restaurants and cafe are just walking distance. Some Rooms are small but if you get the Rooms which is close to elevator access are super big with separate hall and bedroom. Food is super tasty and one of the chef is Sri Lankan to give Authentic Sri Lankan taste. Staffs were very helpful and specially Manager who is very attentive to each Guests.

Great sized rooms, but the 5 stars is for how accommodating the staff were. The extension of the late checkout and friendliness of which they granted our request. The restaurant downstairs had fresh and healthy options perfect for the family For the area the hotel provides good value.

The Sommerset Hotel was recommended to me by a friend. I was a little bit disappointed by the size of the hotel room vs the price. However I was blown away by the quality of the south asian cuisine at the restaurant that's attached to the hotel. The only real problem I encountered was overcooked burgers and it seems to be a maldives wide issue, they like to overcook meats which ruin its texture and taste. Try the restaurant if you're not staying! you'll love it.
