Quite hotel in the center of bustling Male’. Provide free transfers from airport. Well appointed, comfy room. My Deluxe room had a rainwater shower. Very attentive chefs. They makes fresh eggs as you like for breakfast. You can also dine at the rooftop restaurant. I had an early departure and the reception thoughtfully arranged a packed breakfast.
Best of the best breakfast in the town.A 10-minute walk from a ferry, this straightforward hotel with a glass facade is a 6-minute walk from the National Museum and a 7-minute walk from the 17th-century Malé Friday Mosque. Featuring furnished balconies, the contemporary rooms have minibars, safes, and tea and coffeemaking facilities, plus flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Room service is available.
Checked in on 18/2/2020 and out on 21/2/2020 for a short business trip. Had a room on level 3. Part of the hotel is under renovation. But no drilling were done in the evening. Check in took about 10 mins. Staff was ok. There were three lifts but 1 was out of order for the entire period I was there. The hotel seems a bit cramped from the drive in (can only park two cars at the most) which was way too small to the lobby. But I Guess due to the space constraints of Male, they can’t build bigger drive in. Hotel had a total of 9 floors with rooms from 1-8. 9th is the restaurant. They have a narrow corridor with dim lights. It’s supposed to be an auto sensor light but the one in front of my room is not working. In the day time, light source will be from the limited numbers corridors window. When night comes, it’s basically dark. I used my Handphone torch light to guide me into my room as the corridor light works intermittently. My room - spacious with two single beds. One tv with limited channels. One big washroom (No bathtub). One hair dryer. One wardrobe with iron and ironing board. A full size mirror on the wardrobe door. NO window in the room. I requested to change room with window and they wanted to give me a free upgrade. But when I went to see the room with window, I changed my mind and stick with my initial room. Room is clean. I could still hear noise outside my balcony but it didn’t disturb me much. Wifi is ok when it works. But it didn’t work all the time. So I need to keep on logging in. Sometimes it didn’t work. But when it does, I could settle some work with my laptop. Room service. I like their mix nasi goreng which is about USD12 a plate. They took about 20 mins to prepare. Staff rendered good and friendly service. All in all I f they fixed their light, their lift and finished their renovation, I think I’ll have no problems coming here again. …
Dated and cramped rooms, few facilities, the ONLY redeeming features are the lovely staff and the delicious food. After having stayed at two Champa Resorts, and having to stay one night in Malé, this was a terrible disappointment!
We stayed here for one night to Get to the AirPort in the morning. Clean and spacious room. Dinner at the roof restaurant were excellent as well. They have Even arranged breakfast at 06:00 since we had an early flight. They also drove us to the local ferry in the morning that took us to the AirPort.
Meals are delicious. 100% satisfied on foods (Quality , appearance and taste is very good) Even the room condition was good, there were no hot water provided after first night. Though we complained it to receptionist that was not corrected until we left. That was the only problem we had.
I had send my guests to Champa Central Hotel. Had lot of complaints about about the quality of rooms as well as the service. My client suggested me not to send anyone here. They didnt give the airport drop service as agreed earlier. So they had to catch their on cab for airport drop in the last minute.
My flight was canceled so the airline put us up at the Champa Central, and included dinner and breakfast. We were taken from the airport to the hotel by van. The young women in the reception were friendly and got us checked in quickly. There was a nice buffet dinner on the 9th floor. My room was fairly basic but more than adequate. The bed was comfortable, the wifi worked well and there was a TV. The bathroom was a decent size and included toiletries. In the morning, there was a buffet breakfast on the 9th floor with fruit, eggs, cereal, breads, etc. As promised, we were taken back to the airport, this time by taxi.
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and functionally elegant facilities. Everything works as promised and as expected! Location is also great as everything is within a short distance. Airport pick up and drop worked well.
Small rooms, with no natural light and no view. Would not suggest to anyone going to Maldives. There are lot of other better options. Even the bed is small. Roof top dining restaurant is ok. Breakfast was also ok.
