We visited ritz Carlton Fari island in September and wow did we have a good time. One of the best vacations ever. The crystal clear water the superbly hospitable staff made our stay extremely enjoyable. Our experience our yoga with Manish was something we can never forget Shagaf our in house butler was excellent. Our housekeeping staff Aushan and his team mate kept our rooms spotless and tended to our needs. The Indian chefs and the Italian chefs worked miracles on our palates. Thank you so much for making our experience unforgettable.

Where do I even begin?!... From the time we arrived by speedboat to the property we were greeted by two of the managers and members of the staff with a warm welcoming. We were then introduced to our butler Abu who took us by golf cart to our villa. The property itself has a different vibe than any other Maldives resort I have seen...very modern, clean, but still beach chic at the same time. Abu was aware that we were very tired from our journey...this was our final stop from my 30th birthday trip celebration..we had already visited Italy and Seychelles and this was the final leg of our trip. He was aware that we were tired so took us straight to the villa where we were able to do check-in in private which was an absolute treat. After a quick check-in process he let us know to ring him whenever we were ready to explore the resort and he would come pick us up. The villa itself is absolutely breathtaking! In our villa we had a curved infinity pool outside that blended in with the ocean and at sunset it was just so dreamy. Abu was very friendly and knowledgable about the resort as we asked him many questions about the different features of the property. Abu was also always one step ahead, when he picked us up or dinner he made sure housekeeping came and did turn down service...we never even had to ask since it was always already done. Another feature I loved was they even had a pillow menu with six different types of pillows to choose from. We visited the O bar for dinner and met again with the assistant manager J. Serrano and chatted over how he had friends that lived in Houston as well. We then met chef Jameel who made some of the best nigiri I have ever had....he also made amazing wagyu steak for us as well...honestly there wasn't one thing that he made that we did not like...everything was amazing! Chef Jameel was so personable and we found out that he even worked at a hotel in Houston as well at one point earlier in his career. The property also has a five piece band called the Gypsy Queens who play songs in English, Russian, Ukranian, and Italian....have you ever heard of that before?!...because I sure have not and it was mind blowing to me. The band went around to the different tables and asked what type of song you wanted them to play. When the band came to us they played Take it Easy by the Eagles....I looked over at my husband and he was tearing up since that was a song his late father and him would listen to constantly...we hadn't told them to play it they just started playing it after asking where we were from...if that isn't a memorable/perfect moment I don't know what is. Still thinking about it I get a little choked up and have goose bumps since it was just such a beautiful moment. I also have to note our waiter Apple (sorry if I misspelled) who was probably one of the best waiters I have ever had, you could just tell he really loved what he did and like us loved good champagne since he had such great knowledge. I still remember he would kneel down to be eye level to the table and my glass while pouring. We also, had lunch at the beach shack and our waiter Hisham was super friendly as well and made excellent lunch recommendations for us as well. While in our pool we saw this crazy futuristic yacht go by and asked one of the staff what was it and he informed us it was the Adastra and it was available to be rented by guests...just google Adastra yacht and you will see what I am talking about. Throughout our stay we were greeted daily by managers making sure we were having an excellent stay. Overall, the staff on the property never missed a beat...I honestly cannot think of one complaint as far as service goes. For a place that literally just opened I was surprised by how smooth everything was, really beyond my expectations. Another thing I loved was how whenever you saw a team member they always placed their hand over their heart as a way to greet you. We were soooo sad to leave! As we were leaving we passed O bar and chef Jameel ran out to say goodbye to us! While waiting for the boat the two managers came and asked for our feedback about our stay and wished us off as well. When we got back to Male airport we were met by our Ritz airport greeter Farish M. who took our bags and helped us get checked in to our flight. I had ran into a problem as I had forgot to fill out one form online and I was having trouble connecting to the airport Wifi...he helped me connect to his wifi hotspot so I could get online to complete what was needed by the airline. I will say that this place is not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for and more. Once we got to the Ritz, my husband joked that he totally forgot about our previous stops on the trip in Italy and Seychelles since he was just so blown away by the property. The only thing I wish they had were Ritz Carlton Maldives shirts in the boutique to purchase :) , but I think they said they were working on that. Also, Abu was able to get us a couple souvenirs to take back which was great as well. Truly an unforgettable experience and we are already dying to go back.

As one of the Ambassador Bonvoy membership, I've never experienced the best service from Ushaam who is one of the staff at the resort. I am totally saticfied with staying including staff service, room quality and food quality, which were wonderful. All the staff were kind and explained whatever I want to know. If I travel to Maldives again, I will absolutely stay Ritz-Carlton. Thank you all the staff especially Ushaam! :) Plus, I would like to suggest one imrpovement idea, which is to serve Korean food lol

We selected this property not only because I was a BonVoy member but because of the Ritz Carlton reputation. From the moment we arrived on property we could tell this was going to be special! We were greeted and toured the property by Mr. Arafath he was our butler for our entire stay. Arafath set up all our dining needs made changes as necessary also any excursion, spa treatment and need we might have he saw that it was carried out. Our villa was magnificent every appointment and attention to detail was included down to the toiletries. You seriously need for nothing. The staff is professional, kind and more importantly sincere. We have never been cared for or treated better at any resort anywhere. Fair Island property is absolutely beautiful. The dining was very good with many different options. The island is approximately 1 mile in length, being provided with bicycles made it easy to travel the island. There is a beautiful beach area and pool area with food and bar. If you want to make sure your trip to the Maldives is perfect choose the Ritz Carlto Fari Islsnd!

We visited for our 10th anniversary at the end of the dry seasons. We are regular travelers and and this was the most amazing trip of our lives. We actually stayed at two resorts in the Maldives and the resort makes ALL the difference. The Ritz was absolutely unbelievable. Pop up dinner in the Mystique garden was literally the most amazing night and dinner of my life. Amazing ambience, food, service, and music. Our Aria Meeha was so kind, so accommodating, and added so much wow factor to our trip. We paid cash for our trip but after talking with many people on the trip we were almost the only ones who did. It is a much better value IF you can book with Marriott points. We also made the mistake of only staying 4 nights. Often from what I understand there is a stay 4 nights get the 5th free promotion.

Our stay at the resort exceeded my expectations, Hospitality is 200%, food was amazing and at a very high standard. Amazing breakfast and different variety of restaurants. Staff were very friendly and considerate with regards of accommodating all of our needs. Evident teamwork and communication between staff to elevate our vacation. The service throughout the stay was personalized by the team at our preferences. The rooms were spacious, beautiful, and included all the means of comfort and luxury. Great resort and will definitely go back !

Our stay at the Ritz exceeded our expectations in every way. In spite of it being September, we only dealt with rain for 1 of the 7 days we were there. The resort is stunning, minimal but really well designed and it felt like a little sliver of paradise over some of the bluest water we’ve seen. You always expect great service at the Ritz but service here was beyond anything we’d experienced elsewhere and we’ve stayed at nice places. The wait staff was incredibly friendly, the chefs were engaging, our butler Malika was fantastic and the perfect blend of proactive and responsive throughout. Haisham & Hathob were our villa attendants and they went above and beyond with personal touches every day to make sure we felt celebrated by them. Food was so good at every restaurant and in spite of eating 20+ meals at the property, we never had a bad meal. Impressive! If you’re considering a stay in the Maldives, make it the Ritz, you won’t be disappointed! Can’t wait to come back with our kids as the Ritz Kids looked amazing!
