We have cooperated with Hotel Jen professionally on many occasions. The staff is always very helpful (the chef Ajay makes sure we have delicious lunches for our functions, Deepak makes great coffee, Mindis is very respectful and helps with the IT set up, Rezzak is the sweetest housekeeping person that will ensure you have everything you need and have your room very clean). The highlight of the hotel is definitely the friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend for professional stays.

Friendly thoughtful efficient staff. Good food, nice rooms and situated conveniently on Male. Was there for an extended stay on business and found it consistently good. Getting in and out of Male efficient too.

Quick stop over for the night in Male before we headed to out to our island resort. Very nice rooms, comfortable and well appointed. Our family went for a morning walk to the local markets and loved the sights, sounds, smells and tastes which the friendly locals were happy to share. Staff were efficient and our transfers were seamless and very smooth. Very happy travellers.

Clean and comfortable room but a bit dimly lighted. There is no "amazing" view per say, the hotel is more place where you can stay just for a few days. The coffe shop has good food. But I'd say that the the rooftop restaurent AZUR is the highlight. Staff is always helpful.

Beautiful food, wonderful service by Theekshana very hospitable and polite individual. He made our trip wholesome. You should request for a service by him. Cafe has a wonderful gelato you should also try that.

They charged additional 500 usd out of hotel price but they didnt refund yet. They always telling different stories. Hotel Jen is not honest, are not telling the truth. Already 1 month passed during my visit but they didnt refund around 350 USD.

Theekshana - I had a perfect hospitality with him and a perfect service. And with Jen is the best atmosphere and I would love coming back again. The food is really amazing and especially the multicusine restaurant.

Mr razak and miss nithya The location is great, the view to the sea is fantastic, a unique experience. The service staff is very attentive.it is really worth it to take a dip in the sea.Location was ok, it is in a very nice and safe place (in Salvador, it counts) The area for breakfast is really charming, with a nice view of the bay, and there were lots of marmosets! (I know, they can be a nuisance, but I love them).

We stayed for 1 night. The complimentary pick-up and drop-off from the airport were efficient and right on time. Admittedly the hotel is showing its age and the room aircon did not smell too fresh. Nonetheless, it’s a reasonably and reliable good choice for a stopover hotel. (though not exactly economical but hey this is the Maldives after all!) the roof top infinity pool was nice and the gym(24 hr) was adequate. Breakfast service was attentive and had the usual items but nothing particularly memorable. Service was good(as expected of a hotel with the Shangri-la branding!) Would give 5 stars for the service but 3 stars for the facilities! Hotel should consider a complete refurbishment of the rooms and the aircon system!

What other hotel in the world gives you a Bon Voyage cake for breakfast on the day of checking out? Admittedly I'd been staying there for nearly 3 weeks, but when the cake turned up with the kitchen staff in tow it was a surprising culmination to 3 weeks of excellent service, tasty food, and comfortable sleeping. The hotel is very conveniently located within 5 minutes' walk of the ferry from the airport. Or you can take the hotel’s car, but why would you not take a boat in the Maldives? There’s a choice of restaurants, breakfast with just about every choice you could wish for, and a small gym. There’s also a pool next to the roof-top restaurant with the best view in the Indian Ocean. Most people probably spend only a day or two in Male, but if you’re looking for somewhere very pleasant to spend that time, Hotel Jen should be at the top of your list.…
