Blame it on my biasness toward anything that shouts HIP, BESPOKE or DESIGNER, for those staff I’ve met in those establishments mostly smells like snobs or perhaps design got to their heads. CitizenM staff are filled with warm smiles, welcoming hellos at every juncture and they feel real. The pricing helps of course.

Stayed here for a night with my friend, was interested in this hotel because neither of us have been to a boutique hotel and citizenM looked intriguing. Was pleasantly surprised at the high-tech check in service and the very artsy, hipster-y ambience of the hotel. Everything was well-maintained (it helps that it's also a new hotel) and had a very pleasant stay. Loved the changeable neon lights in the shower and the very comfy bed! Would definitely recommend this place to people who need a place to stay in KL that is easily accessible by public transport (just a short walk to the LRT/MRT station) and practically in the centre of Bukit Bintang. Affordable price with good quality rooms, everything was up to standards : )

CitizenM KL is even better than the already high standard and expectations I have for CitizenM as the staff are super friendly and helpful! Its like returning home to see friends around! As always, the rooms are super clean, bed super comfy and the entire check-in/check-out experience is seamless. I'd heartily recommend any solo, couples and frequent business travellers to CitizenM KL.
