We have been coming here for twenty years. On this occasion we stayed in premier suite 2628 with the usual access to Horizon Club facilities. We were delighted to see that many of our friends from previous visits weathered the storm of the last two years and were there to meet us with genuine warmth and kindness. Zie is a special person as Service Manager who was so pleased to see us and gave us exceptional service throughout. Yi Xin was also continuously helpful . Azizi Latif, Front Desk Supervisor, went out of his way to be continuously helpful. Ina and Thela in the Horizon Club were also kind and helpful. Really, all the staff, from room cleaners upward, should be congratulated for the unerring service they provided. As mentioned, we constantly return to this hotel; this was our eighth visit and we are planning to return again next year. We’ll done everyone.

Hotel's Favourite
Our first visit to SRL was an afternoon tea at Lobby Lounge. Then we decided to have a staycation in SRL. The moment I met the personnel that greeted me with happy smile, I knew I was going to fall in love with SRL, and I did! The hospitality provided by the hotel staffs was commendable. The suite we stayed was spacious with a working station, a separate living area and the comfortable large bed. The ensuite marble bathroom was marvelous. I like the two basins, one for me and one for him. I enjoyed my time in the bathtub while watching the TV. Oh yes, they have a TV in the bathroom. The premium toiletries provided by SRL was lovely too. We had our afternoon tea and cocktails with canapes in the Club Lounge. The staffs were courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet at Lemon Garden was delicious with many choices available. Overall, we had a wonderful staycation in SRL. We will be back for birthday and anniversary celebration ;)

Stayed in an executive room, with a tub, so that's great. And received overall good service from all staff, appreciate that too. But the dealbreaker is the pillows - all of them are clearly well-used and hence too soft. I had to use the spare pillow (luckily that is much less used by others before me, so it was still sort of firm). Please improve this aspect to avoid disappointments for future visitors. It'll be a shame for this to overshadow the good service of the staff.

Amazing stay. Dated hotel but it’s adequate. Excellent experience from the moment we got off from the car, check-in, check-out, food and service at the horizon lounge, swimming pool, breakfast at the lemon garden, lunch at lobby lounge, and in room dining, the kids program… everything is just amazing. Well trained staff! Can’t wait to stay again.

The Shangri-La KL used to be perfect before Covid but now it is only wonderful in parts. The horizon executive lounge is the most unfriendly place managed by bossy ladies and is not worth paying to use. it is full of children from the pool. Sad to report that the bar across the road is much more friendly with better food for breakfast and dinner- Gravey-Baby. The Shangri-La Bangalore runs a better and wonderful executive lounge and a better Shang Chinese restaurant than KL. Management needs to wake up. On the other side the Japanese restaurant Zipangu was perfect and room service food impeccable. as always the lobby and bedrooms were beautiful

We booked Family Exec Room that come with kids activities for school holidays . This is my second time here as the first time my kid loves it so we plan to re-booked for school holidays since they promoted it on Instagram for school holiday experience. But this second time here really not up to my expectation since its school holidays. they cant accomodate well to the kids activities. Movie time ( no bean bag etc) . Just in a meeting room with no kids vibe, For me with the price tag im paying im expecting a good service from Shangrila Kuala Lumpur. Second horror experience is in Lemon Garden cafe ( breakfast time) . Im a mother with 2 kids ( 1 is 3 years old and an infant) . I request a corner table that is a bit far with people since im afraid my baby will cry / make fuss without distrubing other hotel guest. But the usherer really make fun of me and said “other people have baby too” . Is it wrong to have preference in choosing a decent table? So bad service for the usherette in Lemon Garden. This happen on 8th September 22. Maybe Shangrila Manager should take note on their staff. Shangrila always being on my list for staycation / vacation. From now i felt so not into Shangrila. They have the worst staff i think. No sorry no nothing and make joke on hotel guest.

Simply one of the very best hotels I have stayed at in Asian. Staff are so attentive, always helpful and super friendly. Facilities are fantastic. Breakfast is amazing - there must be 10 different stations catering for everyone and the food; which is freshly prepared, is a real standout. Hotel is in a great location within minutes of 2 monorail station - 10 minutes walk and you are in Bukit Bintang. I must highlight Man on the concierge desk as a standout member of staff - he organised several trips and dinner appointments for us - thank you.

The hotel and room are very beautiful and comfortable. The staff is very professional and efficient. Great location in KL. Once again, it was a great experience in a Shangri-la hotel. Maybe the pool space is too hidden in the shadow of other buildings.

Overall it's decent, just that for its brand name I thought it would be better. Service was generally slow, the response time for services could be faster compared to other Shangri-Las I've been to. Concierge service can be better, our items were delivered, but we were not contacted by the team on the ground, consequently our delivery left and we had to deliver on another day. Room service also called me multiple times at random to collect items from my room (when there was none to be collected,) and there was once they called me at 1.15am to collect items, when they have already collected at 9pm already. My sleep was severely disrupted that night. Pls look into being better, Shangri-La used to be a very strong service brand.. What happened?
