I decided to take my parents for a short staycation as I haven't been back in the last 3 years due to the pandemic. It was also dad's 71st Birthday. Check-in process was slow but I do understand as I they were decorating dad's room. There was a mix up as they decorated my room instead of dad's. The manager did managed to rectify this and re-decorated dad's room when we went out for dinner. Breakfast service was quite slow. Waited a long time for my coffee and food but this may be due to shortage of staff. Room size was amazing and location was amazing.
We had high hopes staying at Banyan Tree, especially when it is one of the newer hotels and more expensive price point than some of the more prestigious brands. Sad to say, my wife and I were quite disappointed with our stay, the only thing going for it is maybe the views of KL skyline 1. The toiletries provided were not great at all. Your hair will not thank you after using the shampoo 2. Breakfast was nothing to shout about. Pastries were cold, so really would be your luck on when they bring it out from the oven. The yoghurt and granola bowl was actually a plain yoghurt bowl with sunflower seeds and corn flakes for toppings… what granola?? 3. Bed and pillows.. well, great if you like it really firm, not so if you like yours soft like a cloud 4. You will have very patchy cellphone reception because you are so high up, so don’t bother trying to make calls All in all, a disappointing stay for the premium you would be paying…
Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur is part of the ACCOR group of hotels. Located close to KLCC. Excellent views of KLCC. Rooftop bar, Vertigo on 59th floor offers spectacular views of KLCC indoor, and outdoors when its not raining. Horizon restaurant on the 58th floor also offers spectacular views indoor, and outside when its not raining.
Had dinner at horizon grill . We were seated near the window, the view of twin towers was spectacular...Mr Munir attended to us n recommended us the F1 wahyu , it was sooo yum Mr Munir and his team were very attentive n gave us good service thru out.
We arrived very late at Hotel Pavillion. We booked a room without carpet, because my girlfriends is allergic to dust mite. But they didn’t have a room without carpet. But a coworker called Tylor was very flexible. He called and made sure we could stay at this hotel. And we had a pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend the Banyan
