Aircon is off during winter. The shower is super fine that you don't want to turn it off anymore. Space is just enough for 4 adults. Bed is comfortable. We requested our room to be cleaned, (put your request outside the door everyday before you leave the room) and they also gave us new towels, bathrobes, bottled water, etc for straight 4 nights. They have free coffee in the reception area. The location is great. 3 mins walk from the Nankai Line Sky-O Station. Take the escalator to go down level 1 of the mall and immediately turn left to go outside the street. Cross the street & turn left you will see MCDO. Turn right on the corner opposite Mcdo. You will pass by Horai 551. Then, turn right on the 2nd street, you will see the hotel at the corner of the next block. 4 mins walk to Namba train station. 10 mins walk to Dotonbori & Don Quijote. The buffet is delicious. The staff are friendly. The price is budget friendly. It is very good for a 3 star hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days in period of 11/10/2024-16/10/2024. This hotel is easy to go you can take Nankai line from KIX to Namba station and walk around 5 minute to reach a hotel and this hotel is near Dontonburi street you can easily walk on. The metro is near with red line so you can easily travel in Osaka. In my opinion i think this hotel is value for your money the one point that I deducted is size of room is store only 2 languages.

A hidden gem in Osaka. Location is great! Just across the Nankai Namba/Takashimaya. Shopping and Dining in Namba are all near. Room is big for Japanese standard. They gave us free 1-day breakfast which is a nice gesture. Vending machine and laundry facilities within the hotel makes the stay very convenient. Free coffee at the lobby for take out. The only problem really is them refusing to provide extra pillows (only 1 per person) which is a bummer. Otherwise this hotel is a nice alternative to 5-star hotels nearby.

Chose this hotel due to its location. 5minute walk to Exit 5 of the Namba Station. Our room was big and we have 3 single beds. Spacious, clean toilet and bath. trong shower. Breakfast which comes with our room rate was very good. Lots of food to choose from. Spacious restaurant. Front desk staff are friendly, simple check in and out. The hotel is 10 minute walk to Dotonburi, 15 minute walk to Kuromon Ichiba market. We loved that the hotel is strategically located. will definitely recommend to relatives and friends.

Hardly a 3 star hotel. Quite old and bathroom had a distinct moldy sewage smell with 1970s style bathroom including an older bathtub with only a hand held shower. The air conditioning worked very well but it was quite noisy. Very well located but much better hotels in the area.

Great location walking distance to the shops and train station. The rooms are not too bad. Medium size they have enough room to store your bags etc.
There is a coin laundry which is good if you have been traveling.
The beds are hard though but I think that is a pretty common thing in Japan.

I stayed at the Hotel Il Cuore for 3 nights in November of 2005 with my boyfriend as part of a 2 week trip. The hotel is 2 blocks away from the Namba train station in Osaka. We were able to find it easily, even though we were jet lagged after travelling for 20 hours.
The staff spoke enough English to help us fill out our forms to check in and give us a cable to use the internet in the room. Internet access was included in the rate of the hotel (as it was in all the hotels we in which we stayed in Japan).
I booked the room through octopustravel.com ($131 per night), and it was quoted as a semi-double. I wasn't really sure what that meant until we got there. The room was super tiny, but it was big enough for the 2 of us. They have bigger rooms, but we didn't need it. We didn't spend too much time in the hotel anyway. There isn't any furniture in which to put your clothes in the tiny room. You have to leave your clothes in the suitcase. There was a small regrigerator in the room (not a minibar) where we kept some snacks and drinks that we bought a convience store nearby.
The room rate included a breakfast buffet every morning (called a "viking" in Japanese). It included both western and Japanese food (scrambled eggs, miso soup, bread and rolls, salad, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, pineapple, asparagus wrapped in bacon, fish, corn flakes, milk, coffee, orange juice, etc.) It was a real hodge-podge of western and Japanese breakfast foods.
I would stay at this hotel again. The location was great. It is close to the train station, and walking distance to Doton Bori (a nightlife center of Osaka), shopping arcades, and lots of restaurants. The staff were all extremely nice, and they were forgiving for our lack of Japanese language. I was really glad I picked this hotel.

My husband and I stayed at IL Cuore on Sept'14 for 4 nights. We managed to take the last train (around 11:25pm) from Kansai Airport to Namba Station. Nankai Rapit train ticket cost 1130 yens and Nankai normal train cost 900+ yens per person. At Namba station, take north exit or exit 5. If you come out from exit 5, you'll see a x junction on your right and if you look up, you can actually see part of the hotel building across the flyover. If you come out from north exit, turn left and walk along the building until you reach the same x junction. From the junction, cross the street, walk straight and then cross a small street. Walk straight and you'll see a Family Mart on your left and then IL Cuore's car park & hotel entrance on you left. It take around 6-7 minutes from north exit and around 5-6 minutes from exit 5 to the hotel. Hotel reception staffs can speak a bit of english. There's only 1 room key card given to us and you need to use the card to access the lift after 10pm. Room and bathroom is small but very clean. There's big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom. Air cond cold and bathroom water pressure high. Everyday there's a pack of clean towels, bathrobes and toiletries outside my room door even though I didn't request for room make up. There's no internet and only green tea sachets and flavour tea sachets in the room. There's a electric kettle and mini fridge and 2 bottles of complimentary mineral water in the room and If you need coffee you can get it at lobby coffee machine and it's free. There's 2 desktops with internet connection and a printer at lobby. You can use it for free and if you need to print then you can buy paper from the hotel and it cost 10 yens per piece. There's a departmental store and lot's of shops in Namba station. There's shopping mall, shops, shopping arcades, restaurants and 24 hours restaurants opposite Namba station ( main door/north exit).
