When I was planning my trip to Osaka I knew that I have to stay in Namba and I saw this place very convenient from every transportation so no wonder this is my choice.

This hotel provide everything that you need : toothbrush, hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, shower jel, towel for body for face and for hand. Plug every where that you will need.

Pillow very firm, blanket so warm. Bed very comfy.

I love night shift staff, chubby girl she so nice to me on the day that I check-in. Love her very much.

Facilities is perfect, you don't have to bring anything.
Not far from JR, Subway, Dotonburi, Kuromon.
I would recommended this place.

WBF is a fantastic place to stay in Osaka's lively district, Dotonbori. The rooms are decent, though a bit small; breakfast is good, and it's within walking distance from the JR station and the famous food streets.

We experienced two instances where the staff seemed quite rigid, if not slightly rude, towards guests.

When we arrived a bit before 3:00 PM, which is the official check-in time, the receptionist couldn't be bothered to check if our rooms were ready. Without a change in expression, she informed us to come back at 3:00 PM. Not a great start.

The next morning, we entered the restaurant at 9:27 AM (breakfast is served until 10:00), and the man who took our meal vouchers was visibly upset that we arrived so "late." He rushed us, even though we still had plenty of time.

However, we were kicked out of the restaurant shortly before 10:00 AM because the staff needed to clean up. No consideration for the fact that we still had coffee in our cups.

Quite uncharacteristic rudeness for Japanese hospitality. Maybe the staff should be reminded that they work in the service industry and that it's the guests who pay their salaries...?

I got injured while playing a team sport over the weekend and we struggled with finding an emergency hospital. Then I wanted to rest on a bed, so walking into the hotel and got a room. I told the night shift receptionist and duty manager what had happened, and went to the room to rest.

But over the night, pains hit me hard and I couldn’t stand any more so went to an emergency hospital on my own. When leaving the hotel or coming back, reception staff members were in the back office.

The following morning, when checking out, two young receptionists who were in a morning shift asked me how I was feeling. I told them that I had been to the emergency hospital over night and other circumstances. It was raining at the time and I had a big Boston bag, so one of them organised a taxi. And she carried the bag to the taxi.

I am really pleased to your staff members’ kindness and great services. Thank you very much for wonderful and professional attitudes!

We stayed for 3 nights. Our room was never cleaned despite us telling the front desk on day 2. We always left our rooms before 9am and come back late so I cannot understand why our rooms were never cleaned.

Also, the night desk had a very rude man (I shall just call him Bob with photo attached below). He insisted on not giving my son a bath towel although we paid for a room upgrade and informed the hotel there are 3 pax staying. Bob seems to discriminate against children and ppl who don't speak Japanese. I was fortunate that 2 nicer ladies manning the counter the next morning agreed to give me an extra towel. It is to be noted that Bob was present when the ladies agreed to give me an extra towel.

Bob certainly does not represent the rest of hotel WBF staff which have been very polite and helpful during our stay. It is regrettable Bob is the sole reason why I am forced to rate the hotel 2 stars.

We spent 1 night here before flying home after our 3 week Japan adventure.

Although we arrived early the reception was great, storing out bags and upgrading our room.

The room was fine, although was a twin, but we slept well and had a decent stay.

Our flight was early so we left early but checkout was easy and we would have been happy to if we had to stay longer.

The hotel was not close to the station so on a hot summer day, the walk can be unpleasant but the room was clean and adequate - not bad for a 3 star hotel. However what RUINED my stay at the hotel was this staff member 酒井(Sakai), and her ridiculous attitude, which made me question the training of the whole staff at this hotel chain.

I booked a Twin Room for me and my mom. Upon check in, the other Japanese staff member was nice and kind, assisted us with check in. While my friend was also standing there (he was not hiding), I told her my mom will show her passport later for registration as she is arriving late. Then I got the key and headed up the room together with my friend to drop off luggage.

10 minutes later when we came down to the lobby to head out, 酒井 (the rude lady) rushed to the elevator lobby and very rudely asked if my friend stays in the room, I politely responded “no he doesn’t live here, another guest is arriving soon then we will register her passport…”
She kept on interrogating us “SOON? How Soon?”
“In two hours after dinner, the other guest is my mom” I said.
“YOU CANNOT GO INTO THE ROOM IF YOU DON’T STAY HERE!” She yelled at us.

We were IN SHOCK and didn’t know how to respond to such rudeness so we left the hotel. And then after a minute, I called the front desk to talk to her about her attitude, explaining to her that she could have reminded us nicely (like a hotel staff should) since we did not know about the policy and the first girl saw us going up and did not remind us that’s not allowed.

Not only did I not get an apology (or anything remotely sound like an apology) for the yelling and bad attitude, she kept on accusing us… “So you are telling me you don’t follow the rules? So you want the hotel boss to apologize to you?”

Her way of servicing customers was BEYOND RIDICULOUS and seemed UNTRAINED. This poorly-trained staff member ruined my night and my impression of this hotel chain. THIS, is not how Japanese hospitality is, I stayed at multiple hotels and guesthouses in Japan before and never experienced someone as rude as that. My suggestion is to STAY AWAY from this hotel if you have a choice.

This hotel is three blocks away from the OCAT and eight mines or so from Namba.
The rooms as squeaky clean, and the breaksfats, although Japanese, hearty.
The staff is also quite helpful.
There are many convenience stores around the hotel, as well as a BBQ restaurant next door.
There's complimentary coffee, toiletries, a safe, and pajamas.

I needed to stay a night for catching the morning train from Namba Station. And Hotel WBF served my purpose very well. It's just about 5 minutes walk to Namba Station (if you know the way). The room is tiny (a bit cramped for two persons) but clean. Every thing one needs for the night is there. With such reasonable price, one simply couldn't expect more. As for breakfast, there was little choice but it filled my stomach well.

We stayed one night at the Hotel WBF Namba Motomachi and had a great experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming (and speak very good English), the room was very clean and smelled great, and the location is a very easy walk to the train station and all the restaurants and sites in the Minami area of Osaka. Good value for the money! You can also rent bikes for free as a hotel guest, and they have free wine, beer, and sake in the evening.

Stayed here for 10 nights due to its price and relatively proximity to namba stations. This helps as you can go Shinsaibashisuji or other places easily, just a 5-8 walk from hotel.

Room is decent, size small(as per japan standards). Most importantly it’s Clean and housekeeping was good. Staff can understand English and generally very accommodating.

You won’t get much of a view from the room and tv channels are limited. Comes with a safe and small fridge, air purifier as well. There is a laundry room at level 1 to do laundry if you need to, costs 300yen to wash and 100yen to dry, or vice versa.

There are mini marts nearby so it’s easy to get drinks/snacks for the night or next day. Many eateries are nearby too.

If you are looking for a no frills stay, just want an affordable, cosy room to sleep in and just roam osaka aggressively this is a good choice. Not sure why but the beds really gave us a good rest every night.
