Detailed Reviews
We used this as a hub for our travel in the area and it worked great. I read great reviews on the RC and StR but didn’t want the added travel time getting to/from the Shinkansen. Stayed 4 nights overall in a room for 3; hence the room set up. Attached is the lounge schedule and food. We went a couple times for the evening and had a light snack, free alcohol.
Even though I booked and paid for a 3rd person the breakfast benefit was for +1. My friend added one to her room and it worked out for us. If you get to breakfast after 8:30 there’s always a wait (they state this so it’s not a surprise). They offered an assortment of western and Asian items daily and then take your order for eggs, waffle, French toast, coffee and soup. Service and food quality were nice, not over the top but enough for us.
2 tips:
1. If arriving from the Shinkansen, you're on 3F, walk towards the McDonald’s and exit through that door and hotel is about 100m to the right. We had a heck of a time getting turned around and trying to figure it out when we arrived.
2. If you’re looking for self service laundry there’s a place about 10 min by foot called Kimura. It only takes 100¥ coins, a load of laundry (300 or 400¥ depending on size) and 40 min dry (100¥/10 min) is about 800¥ total. They don’t have detergent or a change machine but a good place for a mid travel facility.

4 mins walk from Shin Osaka metro. There's no shelter walkway from the metro to the hotel.
Slight, but manageable noise from the station besides it.
A well constructed room, welcoming stay.
The room curtains tracks was done in a way where it criss-crosses on another at the middle, meeting point. Thus, it will block away any morning light (which will otherwise, shine and sneak in through the gaps).
Comfortable bed and pillows which was expected of a Mariott hotel. Comes with a quiet air purifier, a wireless, dependable Toshiba iron. A traditional water kettle (recommended not to cover/ push down the lid completely when boiling, as it can get scotching hot when you try to lift it up.).
The room has plenty of smart switches.
Large rectangular, toilet sink where you can also fit and places all your toiletires. Safety wise, shower is in the high bath tub. Pls be extra careful when stepping out of it as there's no proper handle/support. You got to even extra careful if you have elderly 50+ up or is plus sized, as it can be a tad too slippery.
Given the limited spaces within the toilet, it was impressive of how the architechtural design of the glass shower door/divider.
It has a highly impressive, button controllable TOTO shower head, with varying showering strength.
Unfortunately, it could have been better to have the toilet bowl seperated, instead of being exposed right next to the glass divided shower.
The toilet door closes on soft hinges.

This hotel is basically a full service Marriott labelled as a Courtyard. I highly recommend staying here if in the area. We did the stay 5 nights get 1 free on points and then did full day trips on 2 of the days to Himeji and Kobe. It was nice not having to switch hotels as often and the train literally leaves from the station across the street from the hotel. The lounge here was great an enough for a light meal. Breakfast was fantastic - a massive buffet. Definitely go on the early side to avoid crowds, but the space is large and we never had trouble getting a spot. We found a coin laundry about 10 minutes away (referenced in another review) which was convenient for one afternoon.

If you are a platinum member or above, I think this hotel is very good value for money.
The calm room makes it easy to work.
You can work in the lounge to change your mood...
You can work hard all day.
[Good points]
-Free breakfast
-Free snacks in the lounge (they have bread during the day, so if you work hard, it can be a substitute for lunch)
-Evening snacks in the lounge (they have everything, so if you work hard, it can be a substitute for dinner)
-Cocktail time (all-you-can-drink alcohol)
-Close to the station. Almost directly connected
You can enter and exit the lounge with a card key, so it's good that you don't have to check in with a staff member every time.
I guess it's too free considering that other hotels have a one-hour limit after checking in.
[Bad points]
-Because it's close to the station, the sound of the trains can be a concern depending on the room

The interior is sophisticated and clean, and I have nothing to say, but I like that the bathroom is separated by a half-door made of glass instead of a curtain.
The glass is always shiny and comfortable, and I'm grateful that it is kept well-cleaned.
The staff are also very welcoming.

Location STEPS away from Shin-Osaka train station simply CANNOT be beat. Local trains and Shinkansen all within steps. It’s a flat walk to the Shinkansen gates from the lobby, so no problem with larger roller luggage (I had 2 big pieces and no problem). The entrance to the lobby/check in is in the same level as the walk to the station. But, If arriving the hotel via taxi, FYI the drop off point is one floor below the lobby/check-in, so FYI, with luggage, take your time..the elevator is rite there and thankfully there was a luggage dolly there too. Check in staff were not the most competent, as check in took some time and some unexplainable bumbling about. But the staff had the luggage in the room b4 I was there!
As mentioned earlier, the stores and restaurants at Shin Osaka station has everything you need.
It’s a fairly basic hotel, and I did not hv time to use the restaurants / breakfast / lounge. I don’t think there are any rooms larger than 30SQM. I had a ‘well ness room’ which has an air purifier. A/C is all in Japanese, so after some fumbling about, I had the room nice and cool at 20c. Put it to 19c, it really cools down. Very mild noise fm the local red line train that passes in front of the hotel. With the air purifier, barely heard it. Floor was very quiet and no slamming of any doors. Bed and pillows were fine..both firm, which I like. Room has nice fridge. Bathroom is a but small, shower has the half glass door deal, but no problem. OK shower and OK pressure.
Just a fantastic location if the train is what you need..both local and long distance.

I came here with a Gate 1 Tour group and this was the BEST hotel of my entire trip! Obviously the location is just fantastic, with the best access to trains and metro, along with all the shops and convenience stores steps away (including a McDonalds and a Tully's coffee). Breakfast was an amazing value with cooked to order eggs, and substantial fresh fruit and crispy bacon which I really appreciate! The room was so comfy and clean. The bed linens made sleep easy! Service was really great too and the front desk stored my luggage after check out time. I would stay here again if I return to Osaka on my own. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We stayed four nights at this hotel and enjoyed thoroughly. Our room was spacious, on the 15th floor, had nice view of the surroundings. Breakfast was very good. Breakfast starts at 6 AM, which gives you enough time to have it, even if you have an early morning tour/ flight to take. The staff of the hotel are very nice, most of them speak English well.
This hotel is a perfect place for tourists to stay to visit Osaka as well as Hiroshima and Kobe. It's right opposite to the Shin-Osaka Station, from the hotel lobby you can enter the second level of the Shin-Osaka Station in just 2 min. Even travelling to the Osaka Kansai International Airport was quite easy by train. I would definitely recommend this hotel in Osaka.

A great overall hotel that does a wonderful job tending to your needs. This is a great spot for both business or pleasure stays. The location is absolutely perfect next to the Shin-Osaka Station (this is the Shinkansen station - not to be confused with the Osaka Station which is the JR station).
The hotel staff was amazing. The personalized gift and note upon checking into the room was a nice touch.
The restaurant in the lobby was excellent. The wagyu steak was a game changer as it was absolutely delicious. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone.
The actual hotel room was a decent size but still smaller compared to the usual American hotel room. . I would not hesitate to stay here again and encourage anyone who is considering this hotel to just book it...you won't be disappointed.

We chose this hotel based on its location as we wished to travel to various locations in the area. As stated here before the hotel in located right beside Shin-Osaka station. Just make sure you find the North exit and right beside McDonalds are the doors to the exit ,cross the bridge and you are there. The rooms at the hotel are clean and comfortable and a great size. We were on the railway side of the hotel ( level 12) so being a light sleeper I was worried about the noise from the trains but after busy days exploring I did not find it to bad. The trains seem to be limited after 10pm and stop between midnight and around 6am. The rooms were nice and modern and have everything you need. The staff at the hotel were fantastic and we even got to check in a little early. So if you are after a hotel which is clean comfortable and in a great location for travelling this is the hotel for you.

I don’t think so
It's literally on the main trains station line and the trains are FAST and the best way to get around. Surely, a train will cut the walk time down from 2 hours! You can buy daily or weekly metro tix that make sense if you are doing a lot of short jaunts. The bullet trains in Japan are amazing so they "shrink" the country dramatically with a speed to 180mph which moves you between major city hubs quickly and on time. However, if you plan to walk as you primary mode of transport then it makes sense to stay in your destination city.
Hi,
info@cyosaka com
I found it from an invoice from my recent visit.
I trust this helps.
