Nice hotel, spacious room for a couple, next to the park to enjoy some silence and 5 mins walk to the main party space in sapporo of Suzukino. Also, spacious bath and toilet (separate spaces). And, of course, a really nice breakfast assortment. Worth including it as part of your booking.

Thank you very much for staying our hotel. We hope that you have had a lovely time in Sapporo. Our hotel is close to Nakajima Koen, and it is only a few minutes walk away from the hotel. The tube station, Nakajima Koen, Namboku Line, is also the same distance. Please kindly noted that not all the rooms have a separate bath and toilet, only a deluxe twin room and a premier room have a spacious bath and toilet. We are very glad to hear that you enjoyed that breakfast. We hope you have a safe journey, and looking forward to seeing you again at some point.

Stayed here recently for 3 nights with my wife and totally impressed with the hotel. Everything about the hotel was top class. The buffet breakfast is everything other reviewers say it is - wide choice, good quality and stations quickly replenished (of course leans more towards Japanese cuisine). Staff, especially at the the front desk just can’t do enough for you. Big thanks to Ms Kyo (Tyo ?) who even walked us to a nearby restaurant in the snow one evening!!! In terms of room, we stayed in premier twin which was very spacious with decent sized bathroom. Location-wise also excellent as it is only a 1-2min walk from Nakajimakoen subway station. Would definitely stay here again.

Dear Mr.Denis_J_Mal, Thank you for staying at our hotel. Thank you again for taking time out of your busy schedule to post here. Our hotel is located near the Nakajima koen station. There are many restaurants and convenience stores near the hotel. It's convenient location. Our breakfast has been awarded as one of the most delicious breakfast in Japan. Many guests enjoy our breakfast. Our housekeeper is striving to keep our rooms clean. Ladies amenities are available at the front desk free of charge. Free drinks are available in the lounge. For security concern, the kery card is requied to operate the elevator. We thank your compliment. Should you have any inquiry, please feel free to contact the front desk staff. I chose this hotel because it was top rated on TripAdvisor. While it was a good stay, a solid 4.5 star stay with some nice amenities, it had a few drawbacks: Pros: - great breakfast buffet. Everyone has said this but it bears repeating. Fresh sushi grade fish, western options as well as lots of Japanese options, several kinds of breads and rolls, several beverage choices, mini desserts, the gamut. - nice freebies like hand warmers (needed in winter) and lotions - pretty good location. If you’re going to the airport, the airport bus picks up right outside. If you’re coming from the airport, it drops off a few blocks away. Note - only certain airport buses drop off near the hotel and Nakajima park. If you arrive after 5pm, chances are you’ll be dropped off in Suskino instead, which is a 10-15 min walk away. The location is both a pro and a con but more pro. 10 mins walk to the main downtown area and 15 mins walk to odori park. Right near Nakajima subway station as well if you don’t want to walk. So you’re near the action but not right in it. Could be a plus for some, minus for those who want to stay lit a little later or be surrounded by lots of restaurants and bars (Vessel isn’t - but there is a great izakaya right on the same block that serves tasty bbq lamb). Cons: - small room. Yes, you hear people complaining of small rooms through japan. I’m from nyc so used to small spaces. But this was small even for us (two small Asians). It was fine for a 3-4 night stay but others may be less fine with the lack of living space. Just a double bed pushed up against a wall and a tiny amount of space at the foot of the bed and along one side. Really prompts you not to eat too much at the buffet! Overall, I’d stay here again as we are the kind of travelers for whom space is less of an issue. But others may want to keep this in consideration.

Stayed as a family of four for seven nights. We’d initially booked in for a six night stay but we had to request the hotel for an additional night after our itinerary changed. Hotel refused to provide the additional night at the same rate as a goodwill, despite that we were already having a long stay. The other hotel we booked in Japan readily extended our stay at the same rate. The hotel is very close to Nakajima Park station – and it’s less than a minute walk away. The subway does get crowded during weekday peak hour mornings in the direction of Odori Park and Sapporo stations though. There are just a small handful of restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel: an Italian restaurant, and three or so Ramen joints. The large numbers of dining establishments are all clustered from the Susukino area onwards, and that involves at least quite a bit more walking. There are three convenience stores all within 1-2 minutes walk of the hotel if you'd like to take-out something simple. Our double room was small and a fairly tight squeeze for two adults and two children. Decor and styling was bland with little attempt at cheering the place up, whether it’s in terms of use of aesthetic carpentry and woodwork, or even color palette. Sleep quality was OK, but nothing fantastic. The pillow is of an unusual design, and its internals comprise two different types of filler material, and thus supporting different sleeping postures. The complimentary beverage corner on the ground floor – operating hours are 2PM to 11PM everyday – was a really nice bonus that we availed ourselves to every day. There’s an in-hotel laundromat, with separate machines for washers and dryers. They are coin-operated and not on the house. The breakfast that everyone comments about on Tripadvisor: there's a decent range, so if you’re one of those breakfast diners who want little bits of every item type, the breakfast buffet spread won’t disappoint you. If you’re hoping for one or two signature items for your palette though, you might not find it as the items were OK but not particularly memorable. There’s more than sufficient seating capacity too in the restaurant, and tables get cleared and readied again speedily. In all, we enjoyed this stay but our expectations were also very high given this property's ranking on Tripadvisor. It's a decent enough place, but whether it's the best in the area, well, we're less convinced.

This is an excellent choice for accommodation. The location is perfect. Close to the Nakajima Park, subway station, Ramen alley and Susukino area. Lots of dining options nearby. The receptionist were able to communicate in basic English and were very helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. Staying here was very pleasant. The best part was their buffet breakfast or I would consider it as a feast. There were so much choices to choose from ranging from sashimi to curry to bread and cold cuts. Eating breakfast here was one of my highlights of my trip to Sapporo.

Great choice in Sapporo. Close to the subway & 10 mins walk to the centre of town with all the food & shopping options. Two convenience stores opposite. Very clean rooms (yes they are compact like many others in Japan). Breakfast buffet is decent & the ladies kindly gave our kids gifts as we left. We really enjoyed the "half house keeping" as we received generous bags of towels and toiletries each day. Rubbish is removed daily. Downstairs from 2pm each day in the lobby you can help yourself to free drinks - tea, coffee & juice and a great range of facial products including face masks & bath salts! Beds were just ok. PJ's and slippers provided. Nice and warm in winter and you can open the window a crack for fresh air. Very efficient staff.

Stayed here for 6 days and love all the amenities and of course the breakfast buffet. We traveled with two young kids, 4 and 7, so got the Superior room, basically two Double put together. We did have to be creative to store our luggage. All staff were so friendly, answered all my questions. The buffet was amazing and highlight, very accommodating to kids and everyone else's need. The selection to food was amazing. Love the location, very quiet but easily walkable distance to Odori park. Will def. return. Pros Self service Laundry - never felt too busy Free facial masks In room Humidifier Free Wifi Half a block to the ST line, 3 stops away from Sapporo station Airport bus stops around the corner and right in front for returning to the airport.

3.5 to 4 stars and only marked down due to tiny dbl room. Friendly efficient check-in. New hotel with many modern features. Std twin room was spacious where our friends stayed but the std double room we had is too small for 2 adults with 2 large suitcases. Free in room Wi-Fi works well. Typical compact but functional bathrooms. No room safes. Car parking was easy with staff assistance via their auto stacker system, at 1300 Y per night fee. A good hotel choice to start our 4+ week, self-drive, all of Japan road trip. The hotel room window can be partly opened and the air con was adjustable; even if all of the instructions are in Japanese. The hotel is at one end of the central CBD area but it is very walkable back to the city centre. Sapporo is flat, so easily managed. Lots of eating places and convenience stores surround the hotel.
