The hotel was in a good location. The rooms were basic but clean. The breakfast was also quite basic. We stayed here twice during our stay in Yunnan. Both times the hotel had turned off the ac cooling systems as it was too cold, it was 34 degrees outside. Our guide had an argument with the hotel staff and it was eventually turned on but it was turned off an hour later - not great.
This hotel is located beside a nice park where senior citizens and children can spend time. Shopping centers are nearby. We have found restaurants few steps far which are too good! Breakfast is complimentary and the chicken soup was yummy! Limited English breakfast. Facilities are ok.
Basic Chinese business hotel in very good location. Yuantong Temple and Green Lakes Park are in easy waling distance. The hotel is located on a small river and across is a park with lots of dancing at night, street food etc. The hotel itself is well, basic. Thin fluorescent lighting in the bathroom, the occasional light bulb not working etc. But it's clean! The breakfast buffet is strictly Chinese (and not very impressive at that).
This was one of the best hotels I've stopped at in China the showers were excellent and the service was very good staff spoke English and went out of their way to help the breakfast was nice as well and the room was clean Paul
Qidao was the old name for this hotel. Centrally located and easy access to restaurants and shops. Rather difficult to communicate with the hotel staff as most of them only speak and understand Mandarin. Only the front office staff manages some English. Otherwise am quite happy that we chose this hotel.
