Price & reviews looked good. Booked (& paid) on-line for 4 nights in a "non-smoking" room. Check-in was easy. Room was small & clean. Comfortable bed. Good amenities. Breakfast was poor. Common areas dirty. Due to an allergy to cigarette smoke, I stayed only one night. When I told the clerk why I was leaving I was not offered a refund on my remaining nights. The entire hotel, the room & linens all reeked of cigarette smoke. Being China this is understandable to a point. Unfortunately, it made me feel sick. Good location. Close to a nice river promenade & metro station.

Good location on Beijing road, near bus stops and Metro. Taxis easily available and its also possible to walk to Yuantong Temple or Chui Lake. There are a variety of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The staff are always helpful even when they are usually. In house breakfast is a good spread of local food, with fruits, hot drinks available. However, Its location on the main road is bound to be a bit noisy, so those who want extra quiet has to reconsider.

Formerly known as the Spring City Inn, this quaint and quiet Jifeng Branch hotel (昆明春城之星酒店(集丰店)) is right in the heart of the busy Baita Road. Whether you are here for a short or long stay, business or travel, this mid-range hotel accommodation is very close to everything – convenience stores, local restaurants, parks, banks. You can effortlessly walk to reach notable places like the Kunming ZouLang, Kingkong Tower, Miaozhan Temple, and the Parkson Mall. I like how the hotel is not too over the top, but still excessive in being fantastic. Great Kunming hotel experience – from fanciful city views, clean rooms with complete amenities, and most importantly, polite staff. TIP: If you are visiting YUNAN, CHINA --- As a travel blogger, I am very keen on getting that experiential adventure of a place. I stayed for 5 nights. The price was ok (hotel was booked through booking.com). Located walkable distance from the subway station Chuanxin Gulou. Rooms are clean and comfortable with clean bed and towels. Basic amenities are available - hot shower, TV, slippers, tea, hair dryer, water (cold and hot - 7.5 lt). It wasn't noisy (I was on the 12th floor). Breakfast was Chinese style(((( I couldn't find anything of my taste. Staff was helpful, but can't speak English (( but they tried to do everything to please me. Minuses are 1) the room lighting is not sufficient - only 2 bedside lights and a table lamp. 2) there aren't any sockets next to the bed (but there is a electrical extension cord). From other side, why do you need a socket next to the bed? The purpose of bed is other))))) …
