I have lived in Renaissance one week, I'm glad to meet friendly staff in the Executive Lounge. Cathy, Vicky, Jessie, Romme and Naomi provided me with meticulous services. Such as served me my favorite coffee and fruit, help me to change a room depend on my requirements. All in all, they make me feel the warmth like my family. thank you again, I will still choose Renaissance if I go to Xi'an next time.

It is a nice hotel to stay but quite far from the central Xian city. I like the clean and new room, however, I dislike the bathroom and floor texture (felt sticky). The room service and meal is good.
Overall it is a hotel you can feel quiet atmosphere. The lounge staff is needed to be trained because many behaviors and feedback is awful and quite impolite.

I stayed in this hotel with a friend back in last December. Interior design was contemporary, but had demonstrated a certain level of wear and tear after just two years of usage. The rooms' design followed the latest Renaissance standard, being modern yet comfortable. It's not Ritz-Carlton level luxurious, but it's quite good for a budget five star offering. A great feature in my Executive Room was the illy capsule coffee machines, yet the capsules were near their best before dates. A quick call solved the issue. Happy Hour at the Club Lounge was quite good, so was breakfast. However, breakfast downstairs at Food Studio can be quite a bit crowded and lacking in personal services. If you are a Platinum Elite and above status holder or booked on Club rooms, it's better to stay in the lounge for breakfast. Service was great and proactive, and the Front Desk manager who did our check-in was professional and friendly. I would visit this property again if the prices are right, just like my last visit.

First, the hotel kept us waiting for 2 hours for our room to get ready. To be worse, nobody at the front desk and the executive lounge ever informed us about it. Second, since our room was not ready, we proceeded to the executive club for coffee but were told that the coffee machine was broken in the morning. I can't imagine that the machine was not fixed from the morning until 1500. In the evening at 1940, we went to the executive lounge again for a cup of coffee. While there were two staff members sitting at the desk, they told us that everything is self-service. We walked to the coffee machine, pressed the cappuccino button, and there was no water or milk in the machine. As a result, we asked the staff member to help us. After a long wait, she brought us a milkless cappuccino, which I guess is a special drink hand-crafted by Xi'an Renaissance. Third, during breakfast on July 25th, I witnessed that the cafeteria staff put a piece of bread that fell to the ground back to the bread station and within a minute, the fallen food was picked up by a little boy!! UPDATE: After I filed a formal complaint to the Marriott Headquarters, in the afternoon of July 25th, Jamsine and Myra called me and went to our room to apologize. To my surprise, I later discovered that my negative reviews were deleted by the Tripadivsor, which makes me wonder how much money did Xi’an Renaissance invested in this biased online platform in order cover up the notorious performances of this crappy hotel?

Very happy with our 3 night stay. Decided to swap hotels moving closer to the Datang Everbright area where the great wild goose pagoda was
Beds are very comfortable and in room amenities are top notch. Only downside is that the sauna while brand new refused to go above 45c even after 3 attempts. Fortunately the steam room was working ok
Swimming pool is gorgeous and had a nice deep end

Very friendly staff and clean executive lounge with a nice dinner buffet. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The only thing I really do not like is the swimming pool. This pool is extremely crowded since they are selling the pool membership and there are too many kids taking swimming lessons during any hour during the day (we visited in July). And there are smokers in the locker room. Simply worst pool experience at any hotel branded under Marriott.

General review: a nice stay with friends coz it's very close to all the sites we want to visit. Close to subway, near the museums, the tower, the shopping mall.
Price: 777 rmb. cost efficient coz got a coupon and shared by 3.
the pick-up: 100 rmb from airport to the hotel. And the driver was so nice to answer all the questions, introducing the city. patient, friendly. And he recommend us the restaurant we like so much.
Room: large with twin beds. and the sofa is so large that i sleeped on sofa the whole night and felt good. with large toilet. shower, bath tub...comfortable.
Room service: quick response to our requests.
Only one point i dislike: the lobby was with sooooooo much perfume. too much. i was choked. But nice to stay there just for sec to check in.

This looks like fairly new hotel and the ambience is modern and young. Large airy lobby and the front desk friendly. Received an upgrade for my ambassador status
The suite is large and modern
The gym is good and the indoor pool area large
The breakfast restaurant is large and not crowded, though the food is at china typical 4 star standard
Located next to the conference centre, and i assume no large meetings the day i stayed, so it’s peaceful. About 5km from the Drum and Bell towers, and 7-8km from the Big Wild Goose pagoda

Lounge in Renaissance Xi’an Hotel is truly great. Attendants are highly professional and friendly. Though the lounge itself is not a big one compared to other Westin or Marriott I visited, but this doesn’t affect the comfortable atmosphere here.Especially Vicky and Cathy are very patient and friendly.

A wonderful experience staying at the Renaissance hotel Xian. The lobby and room are stylish and modern. Especially their corner room has great layout. Everyone at the executive lounge shows great hospitality. I will happily return.
