Shangri-La Sebu Mactan is a great hotel with 5 restaurants, the best of which is Cowrie Cove. Among them, the private table at the tip of the pier is the best location. All of the dishes use local ingredients, and the Filipino-style dishes are arranged so that even foreigners can enjoy them, making them very satisfying. In particular, the staff SIARA was very attentive and kind and made our wonderful time even better. I appreciate her very much.

We love it here! We’ve stayed a few times and now visit regularly since we have moved to the island because it is so comfortable, welcoming, and relaxing! Everything is excellent, the staff & service, the rooms, the landscaping, the amenities, the shops, and the restaurants. Even though it is always full, it does not seem crowded since the grounds are spacious, extremely well-maintained, and well-designed. If you’re vacationing, there is no reason to leave the property with all the activities that are available, from sitting at one of the many pools or the beautiful beach, learning to dive, snorkeling, working out in the health club, feeding the fish in the fish sanctuary, paddleboarding, kayaking, playing putt-putt, golfing (chipping only, not a full course), doing yoga, learning martial arts, shopping at one of the cute boutique stores, getting a massage or relaxing at Chi the Spa, or dining at the many wonderful restaurants. Our favorite dining experience was the romance package where you dine at a table at the end of a pier alone…very romantic and delicious! Acqua has the best cappuccino that we’ve found in Cebu! If you’re traveling as a family, there are a lot of kids activities and play areas too. As a couple without kids, you barely notice there are children here because there are plenty of places designed for them, and plenty of places for adults to be away from families if wanted. It is also great for business trips, as there are a lot of quiet places to meet and excellent services offered for meetings and conventions. Most importantly, guests feel safe and welcome everywhere. Everything at Aqua rstaurant was delicious and the location was great. Although it is an Italian restaurant, the dishes made with local ingredients are very satisfying. In particular, the staff, Ms. Cridtine, was very kind, attentive, and provided excellent service.

Every Shangri-la is truly worth every penny. From the public areas (driveway, lobby, hallways), outlets, guestrooms, facilities (function rooms, swimming pool, beach), to the service of each staff... everything is just perfect. Upon check-in, we were assisted by Daryl who was very helpful and kind. We arrived around 11AM and was delighted that our room was already available even way before standard check-in time without being charged extra. Each and every server at The Tides were also very accommodating and never gets tired of smiling. During our events at The Marquee, all F&B servers also provided exceptional service; Christian and Sherwin stood out. Jason was also outstanding when we had our event at the Ocean Pavilion. Lobby Security Officer RR was very helpful when we asked about the area. He was also very kind and cheerful. Upon check-out, we were assisted by Doreen who was also very kind, calm and helpful amidst our several requests and instructions regarding our billing and receipts. I can't even begin to describe the beautiful swimming pool and beach area. It's amazing. Truly a paradise! We were part of the Asian Carrier Conference (ACC) 2023 and stayed in room 6090 from September 12 to 15. Looking forward to brining my family there and stay for leisure. We stayed in an Ocean Wing Premier Room / Twin. The room is spacious and the beds are big. The room itself is a little outdated but I'm unsure if that is what Shangri-La is going for. The bathroom is old and the lights were very dim. Most of the time we were outside as the area was really big. Lots of restaurants and places to visit! I love their beach! Clear and well-maintained. We fed the fish and had a blast. Luckily the weather was gloomy so we had the best time at the beach. The lifeguard was attentive and ensured everyone's safety. Breakfast was okay. The restaurant wasn't that big and I felt like the staff wasn't as attentive as you would expect from a 5-star resort. Overall experience was okay. I just felt that their customer service in some areas wasn't giving customer service if you know what I mean. It was just lacking. We dined at Acqua and the staff and service here were excellent! Very accommodating. Would still stay here in the future with my family because I think among all the resorts in Mactan Shangri-La has the best beach! But I think Shangri-La should update its room already.…

We stayed here for three days recently , which was our second stay , the first being for 8 days many years ago . Rooms are very nice with private balconies in the Ocean Tower where we stayed . There are several swimming pools , and you are very close to the water where snorkeling is available and fun . Your stay includes complimentary breakfast buffet which is good , although it was better years back . The employees are among the friendliest , kindest that you could hope for . Everyone from the greeters , front desk and room maintenance people . We like the Chinese restaurant ( Tea Spring) , but didn’t think the dinner buffet was worth it in our opinion . All in all it is a very comfortable place to stay which is super clean , welcoming , and something to,look forward to

I found out that I left my kid's life jacket in the pool after playing in the water yesterday I went to the pool, I looked it up, I asked, It was hard to find Alain contacted me several times to find out. Finally, ,Alain went to the Lost and Found Center and found my life jackets. I was so grateful . I did not give you a tip because I was playing in the water, but I would like to say thank you again.
