As a solo international traveler and who is not familiar with Makati/Manila area, I was specifically looking for a hotel that can accommodate my safety, comfort, cleanliness, breakfast and hassle free transport to/from the airport. All of these important items was successfully delivered by Seda Residences.

Airport transport was a breeze.

Hotel Security was top notch, especially the cutest, loving dog Chubu who greets you at the front door.

Hotel Security pays special attention to their guests. When I arrived from my surgery, they were quick to communicate with their team letting them know that someone needs assistance and asked if I need a wheelchair. Again, amazing Security team.

Front desk, listens attentively and accommodates your requests. I was staying at this hotel for a month and they housed me to a comfortable room to let me feel at home.

Breakfast staff, greets you cheerfully and since I cannot physically enjoy the buffet at the restaurant because of my surgery, the staff happily accommodated and delivered the meal to my room.

Housekeeping, always making sure that I have all the supplies that I need. I have OCD in cleaning and they passed my cleaning standards with flying colors.

Gym, they provide you with towels and water onsite so you can focus on sweating.

Earthquake, there was a slight earthquake during my stay and they immediately made an announcement throughout the entire hotel to stay calm and gave instructions on what to do. Again, earthquakes are expected if you're in the tropical islands of the Philippines.

Going to another country makes you feel nervous because of the unknown but Seda Residences changed that.

Seda gives you the peace of mind that you deserve so you can enjoy your stay whether it's for vacation, business or personal solo trip like mine.

I researched all the other hotels nearby but they can't hold a candle against Seda's amenities and most importantly their staff.

Wherever you are at Seda, if you bumped into a staff from their runner, to the kitchen staff, housekeeping, security and even their pet dog, they all greet you with a warm hello.

My mom said Seda means silk.

They hold true to their name, my stay was smooth like silk and I will be coming back to this special place every year.

You should be doing the same too, because there's no other. Seda is the one.

Although not new to Manila but this was my first time to Seda Residences Makati which i understand was only few months old and it does appear that way.
It was a quick check in as there were not many other guests around at that time of night. This is in the business district of Makati so mainly there are offices and banks around but there are restaurants, minimarts and a supermarket just connected to the same building. Be aware however, that taxi drivers may have some difficulty looking for this hotel location.

Room was comfortable, not too spacious but okay for me with a nice king bed, a nice window view, flat screen tv with cable channels and decent wifi. I think what could improve the room was a table lamp or another standing lamp as it seemed dark at night when i needed to read or use the laptop.
The bathroom was a modern design with nice toiletries but i believe the water temperature and pressure needed to be more consistent. Also a bonus was a small kitchenette with a full sized fridge and an induction stove in case you want to cook something.

Breakfast on the topmost floor had an amazing view of surrounding Makati. I would not classify the variety of dishes as five stars but eggs, coffee, pastries and fruits were sufficient for me. The cafe staff were helpful, efficient and hospitable as were the other staff members at security, front desk and bellboy.

Room rates were not too low but not too pricy like other Seda properties. I had an enjoyable stay here albeit only one night and will consider a return during my next trip to Makati.

This is a new property just beside Makati Medical Center. Check in by Gabby was fast & hotel suite was ready before the 2pm check in time. I was given a room upgrade by by duty manager Jahleel since the room air conditioner was noisy. The upgraded room was a luxurious 1 bedroom suite with a living room, a welcome fruit platter, 2 wide screen full HD TVs with premium channels. Very strong WIFI connection. Comfortable bed & pillows with fresh duvet. Toilet & bathroom is spacious & has a deep soaking bathtub. Exclusive SEDA toiletries are provided. Washing machine & drier is also provided for your laundry needs. There is also a mini kitchen compete with utensils plates, cutlery, rice cooker, frying pan, microwave & induction cooker.
Breakfast was good. I was assisted by Amy to my table. Jaime offered coffee. A surprise birthday cake was given by dining manager Mitch & staff Ryan from Front office supervisor Maam Clarissa.
Hotel staff are very professional with excellent customer service. Except for security staff DonDon who called my attention while I was taking photos at the welcome lobby. He approached me & was asking for a permit because I was taking photos. Since I dont have any permit to show him. I just showed him my room keycard & told him that Im a guest of this hotel. I was disappointed with his actions that I reported it to the front office. He needs more training in customer service. Duty Manager Jahleel & security officer Bernardino apologized to me regarding the incident with Security staff Dondon. I would like to thank Maam Jahleel, Sir Bernardino, Gabby, Jaime, Amy, Sir Mitch, Ryan & FO supervisor Maam Clarissa for their excellent service during my stay. I would also like to thank Froilan, Ralph & K9 handler Dante who assisted me during my check out at the welcome lobby.

It was my first time to stay at seda. it was a treat for our mom. the room is great! there are just some improvements needed on housekeeping. we asked to have our room made up, but noticed that the toiletries, vanity kit wasn't replenished. I know that we can ask for them at guest services, but, I feel that housekeeping should at least, be aware of it when they made up the room.
breakfast is also a delight. it might not be much but its a good spread.
I would also like to comment on the guest services, there are times that nobody was picking up when I was calling, which is frustrating.
overall, it was a great experience, I do hope to come back and find more improvements in the service.

The suite was large with spectacular views of Makati from both the living room and the bedroom. The bathroom too was large and had its own great view. It included a shower and separate very deep bath tub—plus two high quality white terry cloth bathrobes. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen had a large refrigerator and an induction cooktop, all which worked well. There were large flatscreen TVs in both the living room and bedroom. The air conditioning was efficient, quiet and could be adjusted for each room. The staff were friendly and conscientious. We very much enjoyed our 10-day stay—from the first day to the last!

Best value of any upscale hotel in Makati, and it's not even close. Wish I had stayed here in the past instead of spending twice or three times as much at other 5 star hotels for an experience that was not nearly as good. I stayed in the Seda 1 bedroom suite which was basically an immaculate small apt, it actually had scalding hot water and strong water pressure in the shower as well as a full size freezer that worked which are both a big deal in Manila. They nailed all the details like the soft sheets on the big comfy bed and providing a bottle opener in the room, room also had a two burner stovetop and a full size washer & dryer which I did not expect. Again, this place was half or 2/3 of the price of other 5 star hotels around town i've stayed in that did not have nearly the same quality or amenities. Pool is also awesome, solid gym, location is great, and the staff were extemely helpful and pleasant. 5/5.

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a small suite which made the 10 day quarantine stay extremely pleasant. The bedroom and lounge/kitchen sizes were good.

Meals did become slightly repetitive and despite asking for less rice with each meal, there was always far too much left and unfortunately wasted. The meals were also served very early; breakfast at 6.45, lunch at 11.45 and dinner at 5.30. There is a short room service menu which we chose from one night to have something different.

We chose this hotel as we were specifically told friends could deliver things (food and drink) to us but on check in we were told that this was strictly not allowed. Make sure you clarify this with the hotel if that is important for you.

The location, apparent facilities and general ambience of the common areas would make this a very good business hotel when things return to a post Covid world. I'd be happy staying here again.

The clean, spacious one bedroom and complete amenities (kitchenette/washing and drying machines) provided were a welcome sight for a quarantine stay. I particularly liked the Makati skyline view I had at the 29th floor. The full board meals were tastefully done, nutritionally balanced with the right quantity if not more than the usual food portions.

Excellent service was accorded most especially when they attended to my dietary requirements by changing my meals to veggies and less meat. Requests on towels, linens and food were immediately addressed. This positive feedback goes for all the staff and their Front Line Manager, Mr. Lito Surla who was most kind to accept my feedback.

Highly recommended for anyone who is searching for a quarantine stay in Makati area. Great location too!

Except for the hotel transfer which was a catastrophe, we can recommend this hotel. We were staying in a room with a separate bed and living room. We almost did not go outside for lunch and dinner. Mistro on the 35th floor offered superb views and nice dishes except few we did not really like (maybe different taste). The staff, starting from cleaning ladies to the waitresses and managers are friendly and really caring about their services. We can recommend this hotel compared to Hilton where we had bad experiences and Seda Residence is offering more value than Hilton.
