A truly wonderful retreat nestled in a valley full of streams, amazing flowers and plenty to do, with golf, full service spa and swimming pool. It’s an easy walk to downtown Boquete and it’s delightful to just stroll around the property drinking in the natural beauty. It’s like a walking meditation, especially the golf. The front desk and hotel staff are super friendly and attentive. Breakfast was included and exceptional and we enjoyed an extra cafe Americano just to listen to the birds and the stream flowing merrily nearby. We had Cuarto 19 which the last room down a long walkway away from the lobby. Very quiet and private. We had a nice, big patio that opened towards the river and we enjoyed the sound of the rushing water throughout our stay. You can request a microwave and it comes with a small fridge and an espresso machine - good size room, comfortable king bed. Look for the big tree!…

Beautiful, private resort with friendly and extremely helpful staff. Walkable to town and restaurants. Splurge for a room on the river. You'll enjoy the back porch while listening to the sounds of the river that flows through the resort. Enjoyed the reasonably priced spa with a message. We golfed a couple of days too. I would recommend this resort. If I ever go back to Boquete, I will stay here!

From the first view with all of the landscaping we knew it was the right choice. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. Our room looked out on a courtyard that led to a pool. Walking around, all of the staff greeted us with a smile. The concierge introduced himself and offered help with any of their services. Breakfast at the restaurant is excellent and Vilela made us feel like a part of the family. The grounds are like a botanical garden. Looking forward to a return visit.

This hotel is really a paradise. Beautiful architecture and landscaping, excelent service, excelent quality of food. The guestroom is very confortable. My wife fell in love with the spa options. Although it is a closed property, is near to center of Boquete, with several options for entertainment. This hotel is wonderful.

This place was absolutely beautiful! Every aspect of our stay was perfect. Our casita has been recently updated and the space was amazing. The beds were very comfortable, huge walk in closet, spacious bathroom with high end toiletries. Our butler took care of us from coffee in the morning to making dinner reservations. The grounds are kept up and care is given for the whole property. A large space that offers different room options. This is a great space for families or a wedding. We know because there was a wedding while staying. Fireworks and all. Even with this going on, we found it quiet in our casita. The food is my favorite! They offer such a great variety and grow many of the foods they serve. The vegan/vegetarian options were mouth watering. The servers were great with food allergies. I can’t wait to go back. I want to bring more family with me next time. …

In April we visited the hotel Valle Escondido and we discovered that the hotel is more beautiful than any online photos or intros. Pictures don’t do the hotel and the service justice, and the natural flora is preserved and cared for really well, and the air was pure and clean. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel is well taken care of by the owner, who flies in with a red helicopter, and who greets everybody personally at breakfast and makes sure everything is going well. I was there celebrating a birthday and the owner made sure to deliver flowers personally, in addition to preparing a special dinner and a cake. The staff are nice and the service was splendid, no small detail missed. The stay was so wonderful, we ended up extending our stay by a few days. Hotel Escondido is a hidden gem and I couldn’t recommend it more. …

We haven't words enough to describe this UNIQUE, MARVELOUS and PERSONALISED ATENTION you receive from the whole FAMILY working at Valle Escondido. Since you arrive you can feel that they are ONE family and you are hugged as part of their family. You can FEEL AND EXPERIENCE the WELLNESS they talk about and you are seeking for. EVERYWHERE!!! The nature around: the rivers, flowers, animals, etc etc everything let you get the experience of TOUCH and EXPERIENCE THE NATURE. The food is EXCELLENT. There is a lot to do in and around Valle Escondido. You just have to ask and the take care of the best personalised program for you. We ENJOYED at most the spa and the pool. For us peacefull moments. Everything is clean. From your room till the open spaces. Eventhough their are a lot of workers...nobody is disturbing you. You even don't know they are their. And the ones you meet...they always greet you with a REAL SMILE. With the Owner and General Manager who really care of you as part of their family and treat everyone as a VIP GUEST....this humble team of VALLE ESCONDIDO can not be compared.
