The Inn at Pal Alto is WONDERFUL! It's beautifully situated, and our room had a particularly spectacular view. The management and staff were the absolute best. And when a crisis came up and we had to return to the Inn unexpectedly after checking out, we were warmly welcomed back. Management provided service that was above and beyond what we could hope for, particularly when it came to helping us arrange ground transportation. On top of all this, their proficiency in speaking English proved to be particularly helpful. Oh, and the included breakfast was perfect, as was the view from the outdoor dining area. We'll definitely reserve a spot at the Inn at Palo Alto the next time we visit Boquete, and we'll encourage our friends to do the same.

This is our second trip to the Palo Alto Inn. We love everything about the place. It is a wonderful boutique hotel with beautiful views bordered by a small river. Flowers and hummingbirds are everywhere and the property is immaculately kept. Breakfast is included and it is absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the heated jacuzzi and pool right at the riverside. There is a small workout room with a great view, a gas fire pit, and an outside fireplace. I highly recommend a stay here when In Boquete. Marcelo is a wonderful host with his big friendly smile and he speaks perfect English. We can’t wait to go back to the Palo Alto Inn.

This inn is beautiful and cozy. The service is fantastic and the views and the scenery are unparalleled. They have a great hot tob and pool that overlooks the mountains. There is also a fireplace that the host turns on at night which is wonderful way to wind down. Would absolutely stay here again!

Solid place. As said before bit out of town ($4 one way), gd breakfast provided with mimosas and bloody marys from 8-10, real jacuzzi, good and friendly staff and view of Baru with sound of the river in room 8. Grounds are lovely. Recommend as we would return.

We loved the Inn, the rooms were spacious and well equipped. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful and the breakfast was both delicious and in one of the most stunning settings. It is further from town than we had realized but you can walk to George’s restaurant round the corner and taxis are just $4 to get into town. We loved the place. Thanks

The Inn at Palo Alto is an amazing hotel and we wish we could give our stay more than 5 stars because they deserve it!! Pre- arrival, the staff was in constant communication and even arranged for our daily tours (zip lines, coffee, and sunrise volcano) and arranged for transportation to and from David Airport (extremely reasonable price of $40 each way for a private, hassle free, hour trip!). Upon check-in, we were gifted s’mores kits for the communal fire pit that they light each night!! While they only serve breakfast (breakfast is included in your stay), let me tell you, it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! They even had complimentary, make-your-own bloody Mary’s and Mimosas! You can’t beat that!! In the afternoons/evenings, the bar is open from 2-9 with extremely reasonably priced drinks. If you’re lucky enough to have Marcello as your bartender, you’re in for a great experience! His drinks were top notch! Finally, their infinity pool and hot tub overlooking the River and Mountains were the perfect way to end each day! We only wish we had more time in Boquette and we will we definitely be back in the future!

We stayed three nights at the end of May 2023, and thoroughly enjoyed The Inn at Palo Alto. The property is amazing, with lush gardens and sweeping views down the valley. There are wonderful tropical birds flitting about all day, and the sounds of the mountain stream was so soothing at night. The Inn is located about 10 minutes from downtown Boquete, just a short taxi ride or a thirty-ish minute walk if you’re feeling motivated. The team is super friendly and welcoming, you feel the stress immediately melting away. Read on for more details, but if you are simply wanting a recommendation, you have it: the Inn at Palo Alto is fantastic, so if you are looking for a quiet boutique experience in Boquete, stay at The Inn. Our family suite was perfect for four, with a comfortable king bed in the master and three comfortable doubles in the loft. The kids enjoyed the circular staircase up to the loft, although we found it a little tight. Our spacious deck was fully enclosed, with huge picture windows that opened wide to catch the breeze. The kitchen is perfectly sized and offers the ability to self-cater, but breakfast is included and delicious: continental style with the addition of eggs, bacon, and a small selection of cereals if your kids are into that. The coffee is excellent, and apparently bottomless 😉 A special shoutout to Marcello and the management team. Our trip to Boquete had an inauspicious start: the Copa Air flight was delayed, then travelled all the way from Panama City to David...and then turned around and went back! Apparently, the runway was obscured by fog, but we had to spend another night in Panama City :( Marcello from The Inn kept in constant communication with us, providing insights and tips for navigating the Copa reimbursement process. Since we were out of pocket for the missed night, the team comped our shuttle ride and water-taxi fares to Bocatown, along with two loads of laundry. So professional, so classy, and so very appreciated! The Inn at Palo Alto should be a must for your stay in Boquete, you will not regret it.

I had an absolutely lovely stay at the Inn. The grounds, view and pool/spa are gorgeous. I loved sitting on the patio watching all the birds and butterflies while I caught up on work. Ending the day in the spa overlooking the river was heaven. All of the staff were great, but Marcelo - part fixer, part saint - went above and beyond. He helped me with everything I needed, like setting up tours, rides, and restaurant recommendations, while I was there and even before I even arrived. Whatever they're paying him, they should double it. It's a 45 min walk or 5 min drive down the hill to town, but you don't need to go all the way to get great food and coffee. Definitely hit up the Fireside Grill for a meal you won't forget, or go up to Princesa Janca for a cafe and pastel, or La Pianista for pasta over a waterfall. My only caveat would be that my suite had a noticeable mildew smell when I arrived, which was tough since I have asthma. It’s totally understandable given that the humidity in Boquete is never below 65%, and it cleared up some after I aired out the place, but I would recommend management take a look at it both for guest comfort and to prevent property damage.

This was a beautiful peaceful place exactly what one hopes for having seen the pictures. The breakfast was delicious and the owner and staff really helpful when arranging transport for all of us back to the airport. I used the pool and hot tub with amazing views and it was just all in all a lovely intimate place. Everything was clean, good shower and coffee.I can imagine coming back here for serious R&R. Thank you to everyone there. If you go you won't be disappointed.
