Lovely hotel. This is a boutique hotel/b and b/inn style hotel. It’s a little out of town so if you don’t have a car or in less you want to walk into town then this would not be suitable as taxis in the evening are virtually non existent. On the road to Palo Alto a few miles out of town you see a white picket fence with a pedestrian gate. There are about 10 parking spaces on the road for visitors. The buildings are 2 stories high. We had 2a (double and single) and the luxury double 6a both on ground floor. It was as a large room with a sofa. The rooms have dehumidifiers in every room. This is amazing (but you do need to empty them regularly to keep them working). This means that everything you put in the cupboard is dry really quickly including trainers (if you’ve been white water rafting) etc. We had so many wet clothes from storm Franklin that this was a life saver. They also do washing for a reasonable $7.50 a bag or individual items for a price. The bathroom was nice and we always had hot water. The kitchen had enough for us (but we didn’t really do much more than prepare a mango). The gardens are lovely. Loads of areas to sit and relax or get in a hammock. The jacuzzi was lovely and huge. The breakfast was nice and seems to change daily and they put food on the bird feeders next to the tables so you can watch the birds have their breakfast. The bar is open 6-7pm and you get a free welcome drink. Reception is where you have breakfast (covered patio) and is often unmanned but they are highly responsive by WhatsApp and email. Staff are friendly. For the price this was a lovely simple place to stay.

The property was gorgeous. Really, really gorgeous! True to it’s name, the gardens were so pretty and very well cared for. The staff has thoughtfully planted the trees and flowers to attract winged creatures of all kinds. We loved sitting on the terrace at breakfast and watching all of the birds visit the feeders.

Amazing hotel to stay in. 3 course complimentary breakfast (with a rotating menu each morning), spacious rooms with kitchen and patio, hot tub and about a 2 minute drive to downtown bouquet! Beautiful grandson throughout the property with birds and a cat, Luna, who joined us for breakfast one morning!

We had the pleasure of staying in this hotel for 3 nights during March and the weather was excellent, no rain at all. Arrived at 11pm by taxi but had phoned ahead and the front desk made arrangement for us to collect the key out of hours, many thanks for that! Room was fabulous, large comfy double bed and kitchen area too. Very quiet and peaceful if you want to get away from things for a free days. Breakfast is served near reception area, with a different menu each day. A new whirlpool/jacuzzi has been installed in the garden.

Had a great experience at Boquete Garden Inn! The property is gorgeous - it's lush and well-maintained with lots of plants, trees, flowers, and birds. Breakfast was included and delicious both mornings with the extra bonus of being able to watch the birds next to the dining patio. The room was charming and very comfortable with a lovely balcony. Kevin was very helpful with anything we needed and also helped us plan the day's sightseeing! We really enjoyed our time here and would stay here again.

It's rare that you find a place in a typically tourist area like Boquete which has, at its core, a focus on service and quality like the Boquete Garden Inn. There is such an obvious love of the product by the owners that really shows through. Having stayed in another notable place in Boquete (please see my other review) I can say without a doubt this is the best place I've stayed and I will absolutely be returning. The room that we stayed in was extremely comfortable with the highest quality linens, an ample sofa and nice fluffy towels. We had a simple kitchenette area although I understand there are also family rooms with full kitchens. The breakfast was fantastic. The location was great. And the bar with the included welcome drinks was great to meet other people. Most of all the staff were wonderful and welcoming. Honestly I don’t think you can do better. I have travelled a lot and it’s rare that I can say that I have nothing negative to say about a place. Don’t hesitate on this decision - book here.

Room Tip: Minor thing is that you’re up the mountain slightly so weather might be chillier than you expect....

Our second time, and wish I could give you 5 stars again... just a few things that were not good this time around, There were workers making noise every day we were here. We complained and got as bottle of wine which was nice, but still made us not want to be at the hotel - which, despite everything to do in the area, is part of the charm of this hotel. Get the bungalow room (I think 7) - its the only room that is completely separate, so quiet & private, The new pool should be operational by now and the happy hour bar is open again after covid - both great selling points. The gardens are stunning. Not sure anything in town is better, so enjoy.

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The staff were excellent and helped in any way they could. The setting is so pretty with gorgeous gardens and stunning birds everywhere you look. The 6-7 pm happy hour at the bar was just charming and sweet, although alcohol selection is limited. Location is a drive to town. We had 2 rooms, the deluxe king with terrace was so spacious and lovely (building 5 was amazing). The queen with single bed in building 4 was totally fine, but much tighter and just not as nicely appointed. Depending on your needs, the step up in room was a big difference with the deluxe king! Breakfasts were wholesome and well served with homemade vibe (but repetitive). Would absolutely recommend!!!!

This is a lovely hotel and they do a fabulous breakfast. They also put fruit out for the birds in the morning so you see so many beautiful birds while having breakfast. There is a great restaurant, called The Rock, a few minutes walk away too

We stayed here for 3 nights in November 2022. The staff were very helpful and helped us book transportation from David Airport to the hotel as well as to Bocas del Toro. One day they even drove us into town. The room was spacious but a tad awkward given the shape being more like a hexagon than square. That said it was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious as well. The grounds are gorgeous. They were working on the pool area when we were there, but little to no noise was associated with that. Only negative and I knew this when I booked, was it is about a mile walk into town, mostly downhill into town but uphill to the hotel.(not a huge hill by any means) So if you are without a car, you may at times need to use a taxi, which is around 5 dollars.
