We stayed two nights at TreeTrek and participated in three different tours. The nightly stay includes breakfast in the morning out on the patio over looking town. The room did not have a coffee maker inside which is disappointing. The zip line and rum tasting tours were great, everyone involved was friendly, spoke good English, and make sure everyone had a good time. The hanging bridges tour guide did a great job, however the pathway and handrails could use some repairs. Some of the handrails were not attached and numerous steps were over 12” high and very uneven.

The service at the boquete office was terrible. We arrived on time and there was no parking. We asked them to please help us and direct us to find parking. the person at the desk did not care and didn't feel like being bothered. The tour left us without apology. It took 10 minutes for us to find parking and then a taxi.

This is a superb place for birders. I was so impressed with the birds that I saw here. I finally got to see the splendid quetzal. The cabins were super clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and heathy.

The idea/hope was to spend 3 nights/2 days in the middle of nature, doing some hikes staying in a place that would facilitate this. Good things about this hotel: - friendly staff - restaurant and terrace with beautiful view towards mount Baru - causy rustic bar with fire place - good food - In the middle of nature It’s definitely colder up there then in Boquete. And more wet. But we were highly disappointed by: - rather plain and simple room with view on the parking !!! (rooms 1-5). I don’t understand the point of even offering this kind of room in a hotel that builds its unique selling proposition on the contact with the superb nature all around. And because of that parking outside there was hardly any privacy except with all curtains closed. Definitely overpriced! Even rooms 6-10 have no view down the valley. - There is a free shuttle service connecting the hotel with Boquete. But arriving after 3pm (last shuttle time every day) in Boquete from our previous location, we had to organize our own taxi. Next day , after finishing our self organized hike, we have been waiting for the shuttle to show up in Palo Alto to take is up to the hotel (4,5km). The shuttle did not show up and , we understood, never left Boquete at 3pm as the schedule promised. So we had to walk up to the hotel. - 5 tours are suggested every day at 3 different times. They all take 2 hours. Which means you can easily do 2 of them. I still suppose they offer good quality. But we like hiking and a 2h/3km tour is not really what we were looking for. But from the hotel there was not really a good option for us to go hiking except to go back halfway towards Boquete and start the Pianista trail. - In the causy bar area, they lit the fire in the morning but then it was finished for the day. Sitting there and having a drink in the evening …. No fire ! And once the sun is gone it really got colder compared to Boquete. Conclusion: - if you don’t have your own car, don’t stay in the hotel. You will be stuck. - If you want to join their tours (If that’s your thing, then I suggest you do) you can book them in Boquete and use the free shuttle. That’s what the shuttle is meant to do, not so much to transport hotel guests. - Don’t rent rooms 1-5. They are not worth the money. - This is not a mountain resort. It’s an adventure park with a small hotel attached to it. The main business is the tours they organize 3 times a day. And the restaurant that caters to day trippers.

They offer a ride from Boquete to tree trek. I advise to take the ride to start enjoying the fun. We drove up the VERY steep mountain following the group. The give you a quick lesson on zip line and the rest is hang on and enjoy. I have ziplined before. These guys were extra safety detailed. A plus since my 11-year-old son was a first timer. He was nervous his first zip off the 12. after that it was a blast for him. I had a blast seeing the excitement and happiness in his face. The view is AMAZING, and the overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend it.

Three of us have visit the TreeTrek and Coffee tour You can go by car by yourselves or Take the tour bus (I would use the own car as you can spend more time) The guide was very nice and interested in to show the story of the Coffee on the trees direct which was very good After the tour outdoor we went in and he give us a explanation of how coffee is roasted and a tasting of the Local „Geisha“ and „Cathurra“ coffee beans After all I can recommend the tour and product The coffee house / restaurant was on our day congested and not very fast to be honest

Five of us went to the Tree Trek restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We all had delicious steaks with various sauces that everybody enjoyed thoroughly. The piña coladas were the best I have had in Boquete. The high setting is really beautiful watching the clouds move across the beautiful green mountains. We would have liked to have sit outside on the lovely patio for dinner (which was an option) but we were not dressed warmly enough, so be aware that you are above 5000 feet and you may want to have a light jacket or sweater with you if you want to sit outside or even inside. A special shout out goes to our excellent server Neyra, who could not have been any nicer or better at her job. We really enjoyed having her take good care of us! We definitely recommend this place for a delicious lunch or dinner and are looking forward to trying other meals there and exploring the other opportunities that Tree Trek offers with zip lining and hiking and lodging.

Husband and I had a very delicious lunch today at the Boquete Tree Trek - Rio Cristal Restaurant. It was our first visit, and we were impressed with their classy casual ambience, excellent bilingual customer service; and, their delicious lunch. I had the trout w/mashed potatoes, and my husband had the tomato cream soup and the chef salad. We started with an appetizer of wings. A malbec wine added to our relaxed moment watching the beautiful mountain scenery, and the tree trekers...very entertaining! A coffee flan was just perfect to end our Valentine date. We will be back. Highly recommend this restaurant...now on our favorite list in the area of Boquete!

This was a great experience in Panama. We did all of the adventures at the resort from the zip line to the suspension bridges to the coffee plantation tour. The rooms were basic but very clean and the beds very comfortable. The restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. I can't say enough good things about the staff. Everyone was very professional and friendly. My wife lost her cell phone which is a story in itself but the staff found it through some great detective work and shipped it to our accommodation 6 hours away. The only possible negative is the resort is about 8 KM from the town of Boquete but there is a free shuttle that runs during the day. If you miss the shuttle, taxis are available. If you are in Boquete this is where you want to stay.
