We just spent 3 days here and the wind never stopped. Felt like hurricaine winds all day and all night. Very chilly. The place is very very basic. The beds are like a rock. The service was nothing. However, the view was spectacular. I will give it that.

Room Tip: We had the 2 bedroom cabin. It was way more then we needed, but the view was great.

we had a great time in cabanas el parador. Even though we were looking for a hotel near the center of town because of the Boquete Jazz and Blues Festival, and this was our last option, we had a great time there! the view was amazing, the breakfast also, and the hospitality of its owners. The room is quite comfy, and the weather was excellent that weekend. We could enjoy the Festival, and by car it wasn't very far away from the cabanas. i recommend it if you wanna have a relaxing and quiet time with your family.

My wife and I were introduced to this treasure of a destination by a Friend who is a Panamanian local from David. Our intention was to stop for a batido de fresa and enjoy the impressive views. BTW, the strawberry shake is outstanding. We bought two! One to eat there and the other to go! We quickly fell in love with the place and spent the night. It was perfect! The hospitality is authentic. We will definitely return to this treasure on our next trip to Panama.

I stayed with my wife and my parents for three nights and weren't expecting such wonderful views and accommodation. I wish we had stayed longer. We stayed at a one bedroom cabin, with a loft second floor with four extra beds. It also included a full kitchen and a charcoal barbecue. For those who enjoy taking pictures, the cabin's stunning view is best early in the morning and at sunset. It was an awe experience to sip my coffee while listing to the chirping of the many different species of birds, while absorbing the stunning view of Volcan Baru. If you are looking for a get away from your busy life, and a place to be in touch with nature, I highly recommend this place! The cafeteria offers local gourmet coffee blends, including the world famous geisha. They also offer a variety of ground coffee for sale.

A group of six of us stayed for one night on 26th January, 2014. We enjoyed the wonderful views, gardens and hospitality. The owners were most welcoming. We wished we could have stayed longer to go up to the top of the volcano-maybe next time. It was our second trip to Panama and we are sure we will be returning.

We have stayed in Panama many times. The best place by far is the cabanas el parador. The owners are amazing people and very down to earth. Senior Victor helps with everything you might need and the staff are very friendly happy people. The cabanas are clean and have hot water for those who have become accustomed to such things. I and my family highly recommend this place for your vacation.

The property, grounds and location are beautiful and the restaurant there was very convenient. But the inside of our room, the ceiling was unfinished plywood that gave off a smell, the room was so chilly that I couldn't sleep and the curtains in the room were a bit dusty (not good for my allergies). I really want to like this place since the people were so friendly and it looks like nice from the outside, but I will definitely not be coming back. Not worth the price...it was more like camping and I wasn't prepared for that.

I was with my wife and my son and it was a wonderful and beautiful place. If you want to leave the smoked and noisy city by the peace, the climate, the flowers, the songs of the birds and the most spectacular view of the Baru Volcano, Cabanas El Parador should be your destination place. My wife and my son everyday talk about the nice moments we spent there. My wife enjoyed a pineapple pie of the Cafeteria and she comments that never had taste a pie like that. My son and i drank strawberries´ milkshakes and there were extremely delicious. There is a personal attention and we felt we were in family. There are not words to describe El Parador you have to live the wonderful experience. I had recommended to neighbors and friends. Thanks, Griselda and Barcia God bless you.
