I have stayed 3 days here. It’s an 5 star hotel with 3 star facilities. Very old furnished room and small toilet. There were mosquitoes inside and outside of the room. I stayed in Room 135. Wifi was very poor, I have to use my mobile data through out the stay. I recommend anyone not to select rooms near to 135. The worst thing was breakfast. I paid for breakfast which was already a huge price and got the food worth 1/10 of the value. There were very little items in the breakfast. If you go to a 3 star property you can get verity of foods in breakfast. I recommend not to have breakfast in this hotel. This hotel provides only 2 bottle of 500ml water as complimentary. I gets 4 or more bottles in 5 star resorts. And there were no much tea and sugar as complimentary in room. You will get only 2 packs of tea and coffee. Staffs was so nice and hotel was clean. We can see beach from the property but it’s like 300 meters from the property. And it’s not easy walk to beach because of the plants in the sand. Pool was nice but no lifeguard. Hotel check in and check out was very easy and fast. Receptionist a Philippino nationality was very nice.

Hotel's Favourite
The pandemic has restricted me from traveling to other cities and new countries, so I have decided to go on a staycation as my own escape from boredom.  So far, I have had the best staycation at this hotel. 👌🏻 Checking in and out was a breeze.  The facilities and amenities are great. However, the slide in the swimming pool had no water, so I wasn't able to use it. It would also be better if they allowed guests to use the pool as early as 6am and as late as 8pm to avoid getting sunburned. The rooms are well cleaned and sanitized. I also loved that we were given a room on the fourth floor, and the view of the sea from the balcony was spectacular. 🌊 The food was good, but some dishes were hit-or-miss, such as the Tom Yum soup 🥘, which was far from authentic. The best thing for me is that I had unlimited coffee ☕ at the breakfast buffet. My tummy was happy and full, I almost forgot that I was on a diet 😂. The highlight of my experience was their customer service. I highly recommend their front-of-house staff, waiters, cooks, and housekeeping. 👏 🙌 I was in high spirits all through my stay when, suddenly, I couldn't feel my gold necklace. Knowing that I have a bad habit of forgetting and misplacing things, I traced back my steps. When I had finally given up on finding my precious jewelry, I came to the idea of calling the hotel to ask whether they had found a necklace and, voila, they did. I didn't think it was there because I knew that I had worn it before I left the hotel premises. The housekeeping department had a busy day and they forgot to notify the front desk at once. I was already home that time (100kms away from the hotel) so I just asked my friend to pick up the necklace for me and he was able to get it hassle-free. 😌

I booked the hotel for 5 nights which include meal while boking but when i vist in hotel they asked me extra 27 OMR for breakfast which is totally unfair. My advice to people before they pay, you must confirm by call about thr extra charges or brrakfast.

We spent a week in this lovely hotel that really felt a home away from home. Check-in was completed professionally and very fast by the reception and we were in our room within 5 minutes from entering the hotel - which was nice after being on the road for 9 hours. We lucked out on the room, it was in the older side of the hotel but had a balcony that looked directly on to the pool and an amazing sea view. 2 large queen beds made the room perfect for our family and this was well complemented by a nice lounge area - for a basic room we felt it was generously large in size end perfect for a family of 4. The bathroom had a large and deep bath which was nice to soak in at the end of the day and once we asked for extra towels once, room service made sure we had sufficient towels every day for the rest of the week. Our room was cleaned well every day and house keeping could not have been more helpful, any small issues being immediately rectified. The pool and outdoor area was nice, if a little understaffed and there seemed to be shortages in towels. The pool is lovely, perfect for a family and has a good water slide that the kids loved. We were a bit disappointed with the neglected kids play area - that needs some love - but is easily fixed with a bit of investment. We were half board - this included an excellent breakfast buffet that was kept fully stocked by an efficient kitchen team. Dinner was a la carte off a set menu - which got a bit boring after a few days - but choices did include steak, fish and chips and curries - there were no kids options so we were encouraged to order adult meals for them as well - this was very generous and made sure we had more than enough to eat. The food quality was excellent, l know they were understaffed - but each plate of food delivered was full restaurant quality. The waiting staff were also fantastic and made sure we were fully provided for. I wish the hotel would have provided more tourist information and things like a hotel directory / menus in the room - we felt a bit in the dark about anything unless we were there and asked. It would be great to see some leaflets for local sites etc… The bar is ridiculously expensive - as is anywhere in Oman these days, but you can get ice on room service and drink on the balcony, which is pleasant. All in all an excellent family orientated hotel that fully deserves its stars. I doubt we will go back to Salalah, but if we did we would stay again
