Hotel Sixty3 is a truly centrally located hotel in Kota Kinabalu city.It sits on the quaint, bustling, yet charming street of Jalan Gaya (formerly known as Bond Street during colonial times), with the State’s tourist information office right opposite the hotel. The street is flourishing with a myriad of restaurants, bistros and cafes, burgeoning with everything from lifestyle malls (Suria Sabah Mall, Wisma Merdeka) to local side-stalls, and being the city’s business high street, it is surrounded by financial institutions. Also famous for its colourful and vibrant Sunday market, it is evident that Jalan Gaya captures perfectly the essence of life in Kota Kinabalu and at Hotel Sixty3; all of this are just pulses away!

Hotel Sixty3 is good value for your money. It's in a safe location, not too far from KK attractions. The rooms are simple but adequate. My friend & I shared a suite which worked perfectly for us, including the Jack & Jill bathroom.

This was a great stay for a few nights in KK. The hotel staff were friendly and the rooms very clean. I especially enjoyed the showers which features overhead shower heads and great water pressure. Make sure to walk down the block to get some cheap and delicious Laksa and milk

Dear H B, Thank you for your question. On price wise, Hotel Sixty3 is a lot cheaper than Shangri-La. If you and your mom is looking for a hotel that is in the city, Hotel Sixty3 is the place where it is located strategically in the city center with many verity local restaurants around, a minute walk to Gaya Street Sunday Market, walking distance to major shopping malls and Jesselton jetty to go to the islands however if you want a 5 star resort and spend much of your time in the resort itself with large swimming pool, dining in the resort restaurants and recreation activities then Shangri-La would be the ideal place. Hope the above can be of help. Thank you.
