We stayed three nights at the Bel Azur Hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. We had a large room with a good working airconditioning, refrigerator and television. Our room was located at the street side but we had a good view on the city and the surrounding mountains and the traffic didn’t bother us at all during the night. The rooms are clean and spacious. You can enjoy a good breakfast with a nice choice of bread, cheese, meat, eggs and fruit. The swimming pool is amazing. There’s a huge swimming pool as well as a small swimming pool and if you want you can also lay down near the beach. The best part was the excellent staff of the Bel Azur. They were so helpful and the service was great. We’re absolutely looking forward to stay at the Bel Azur Hotel again.
Bel Azur Hotel a great place to stay. We stayed here 4 nights and we loved it. Friendly staff, great specious rooms with with a view on the street. Breakfast buffet is super and 2 pools ( one Olympic size) nest before the bay where you can rent jetsky or just swim around. The hotel is on walking distance to coffee bars, restaurants, shops, supermarket Fahed etc. I definitely will be back here again.
Me and my friend went to this place without staying in it, we only utilized the pool and it’s lounge. It’s a clean place with a nice staff, they serve food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), we only payed approximately $14 to get the access for the pool and the lounge. However, the pool was busy and too crowded. Overall I’d go again to chill there but not to swim.
My wife Marie and I stayed in Bel Azur for a few nights early in November. It was a lovely stay. The staff (everybody) made sure to attend to our needs. Clean and vast room with excellent view over the Mediterranean, an excellent breakfast and a lovely stay by the beach in the evening with a glass of Lebanese wine. Highly recommended Elias Harfouche
I am there now , one of the worst & this is strange for Lebanese hotels .. the receptionist wasn’t helpful at all , we booked from booking twin bed & at the end they gave us one bedroom . We tried to find a way to book another extra room & still the receptionist doesn’t know how to do his job .. and he is calling the owner to ask about each details . End of story guys .. i would have left and went to another hotel but unfortunately i already payed by booking . In my whole trip at lebanon thats the worst .
Breakfast is very good with a good variety of choices. Rooms are fine. Escalators working. Could relax by walking on the sea front. Nearby many amenities. Supermarkets easily available at walking distances. Staff very helpful.
The staff is friendly and the hotel in general clean except the room have a bad smell all the time. Awesome room view 5 nights /6 days single room based on bed and breakfast at this hotel suffering from the breakfast , very very LOW variety and poor taste , half of the buffet is tomato and onions !!!! No refill for any item , 2 stars buffet and one employee only at the restaurant ?? ( thank you basma for your efforts , she is really nice and helpful person ) but who can imagine 4 stars hotel hire one employee for the restaurant ?? when i complained to the GM ( john ) i surprised with his reply as he didn’t accept any complaints and always deny that he have a problem !! ( not satisfied at all with his aggressive way to receive his guest’s complaints ) He need to listen to his guest in a friendly way…
Just back missing it already the hotel is beautiful the staff are amazing especially Kareem on the beach to the left off the hotel we spent every day there and he was over with drinks I’m sure he new when we need them The maid who cleaned our room was amazing we where room 356 she was a wee gem room was spotless The food well it was ok but different but once we meet chef omg his chicken curry was amazing and the waiter and waitress where so helpful nothing is a bother to them Ps what to do trips go across the road to the black and white after 10 am and Sammy will sort you out be careful of the the man selling them on the beach and watch out for mr bongo drums he gives them as gift then rips you off same with the towel guy there cheaper to buy in Yasmin Hammamet including taxi price …
Pools amazing, location is great, breakfast is delicious and beautiful, we would definitely return again. I would recommend people stay in Jounieh rather than Byblos as it is prettier, cheaper and more charming
A family visit to Lebanon was made extra special by this hotel where the people are the friendliest and most helpful we have ever encountered. Nothing was too much for them to do! Beautiful, spacious double inter-leading family room with a balcony. Place is clean, comfortable and offers extremely great breakfasts with a large variety of fresh food. Excellent Lebanese morning treats and coffee prepared by Basma who was a delight! Hotel is well located with a lovely swimming pool and right on the beachfront. They can even arrange a private speedboat cruise around the Bay of Jouneih which was spectacular. A highly recommended hotel for all types. We were a family of Lebanese origin from South Africa and truly enjoyed our informative and inspiring visit to Lebanon.
